4Schalten Sie vor der Installation alle Geräte aus.
4Die Installation des Gerätes und Reparaturen am Gerät sind
ausschließlich vom Fachmann unter Beachtung der geltenden VDE-
Richtlinien durchzuführen. Bei nicht fachgerechter Installation und
Inbetriebnahme wird keine Haftung übernommen.
4Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Stromzuführung entfernen, ansonsten besteht
Kurzschlussgefahr. Dies gilt auch, wenn Sie das Gerät reinigen oder an
den Anschlüssen arbeiten.
4Das Gerät darf nur in trockenen Räumen betrieben werden. In feuchten
Räumen oder im Freien besteht die Gefahr von Kurzschlüssen (Achtung:
Brandgefahr).
4Wählen Sie den Montage- bzw. Aufstellort so, dass Kinder nicht
unbeaufsichtigt am Gerät und dessen Anschlüssen spielen können. Der
Montage- bzw. Aufstellort muss eine sichere Verlegung aller
angeschlossenen Kabel ermöglichen. Stromversorgungskabel sowie
Zuführungskabel dürfen nicht durch irgendwelche Gegenstände
beschädigt oder gequetscht werden.
4Wählen Sie einen Montage- bzw. Aufstellungsort, an dem unter keinen
Umständen Flüssigkeiten oder Gegenstände in das Gerät gelangen
können (z. B. Kondenswasser, Dachundichtigkeiten, Gießwasser etc.)
4Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus und
vermeiden Sie die direkte Nähe von Wärrmequellen (z. B. Heizkörper,
andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.) Bei Geräten, die Kühlkörper oder
Lüftungsschlitze haben, muss daher unbedingt darauf geachtet werden,
dass diese keinesfalls abgedeckt oder verbaut werden. Sorgen Sie
außerdem für eine großzügig bemessene Luftzirkulation um das Gerät.
Damit verhindern Sie mögliche Schäden am Gerät sowie Brandgefahr
durch Überhitzung. Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass Kabel nicht in die
Nähe von Wärmequellen (z.B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin
etc.) kommen.
Ihr Gerät ist mit dem WEEE-Symbol markiert (Waste Electronics
and Electrical Equipment). Dies bedeutet, dass elektrische und
elektronische Komponenten nicht mit dem Restmüll entsorgt
werden dürfen. Gebrauchte elektrische und elektronische
Komponenten sind separat zu entsorgen.

Verwendungsbereich:
Der BZU 10-00 ist ein elektronischer Signaltester für analoge und digitale BK-
Signale. Wird das Gerät für andere Einsätze verwendet, wird keine Garantie
übernommen!

Produktbeschreibung:
Der Signaltester BZU 10-00 ist zur einfachen Überprüfung, Pegelkontrolle und
schnellen Fehlersuche geeignet. Messpunkte sind z.B. Antennensteckdosen,
HÜP, Antennenkabel, HF-Ausgänge von DVD-Recordern oder PC-TV-Karten.
Messbar sind analoge und digitale Kanäle im Frequenzraster der KDG, KBW
und Unity Media. Nicht messbar sind DVB-T Signale. Verwenden Sie hierfür den
TZU 22-01 aus dem AXING Sortiment.
Der BZU 10-00 ersetzt kein Messgerät und ermittelt auch keine
Schräglagen!
Bedienung:
Der Signaltester wird über das Kabel MAK 30-80 und den Adapter CFA 2-00 z.
B. am TV-Ausgang einer Antennensteckdose angeschlossen.
Je nach Signal wird durch Drücken der Taste „Analog“ bzw. „Digital“ der
Pegel an den LEDs des BZU 10-00 angezeigt. Der Pegel in dBµV kann direkt
rechts neben der LED abgelesen werden. Die Auflösung beträgt 5 dBµV.
Leuchtet die LED z.B bei 70 liegt der gemessene Wert zwischen 67,5dBµV und
72,5 dBµV. Das Gerät schaltet sich beim Loslassen der Taste wieder aus.

4Switch off all devices befor the Installation
4Installation and repairs to the equipment may only be carried out by
technicians observing the current VDE guidelines. No liability will be
assumed in the case of faulty installation and commissioning.
4Before opening the equipment remove the power supply, otherwise
there is danger of of short-circuit. This is also valid for cleaning the
equipment or working on the connections.
4The equipment may only be operated in dry rooms. In humid rooms or
outdoors there is danger of short-circuit (caution: risk of fire).
4Choose the location of installation or mounting such that children may
not play unsupervised near the equipment and its connections. The
location of installation or mounting must allow a safe installation of all
cables connected. Power feeding cables as well as feeder lines may not
be damaged or clamped by objects of any kind. To prevent damage to
your equipment and to avoid possible peripheral damages, the devices
foreseen for wall mounting may only be installed on a flat surface.
4Choose the location of installation or mounting so that under no
circumstances liquids or objects can get into the equipment (e.g.
condensation, water coming from leaking roofs or flowing water, etc.).
4Avoid exposure of the equipment to direct sunlight and to other heat
sources (e. g. radiators. other electrical devices, chimney, etc.). Devices
that are equipped with heat sinks or ventilation slots must under no
circum-stances be covered or blocked. Also ensure for a generous air
circulation around the equipment. In this way you avoid possible
damage to the equipment as well as a risk of fire caused by overheating.
Absolutely avoid that cables come near any source of heat (e.g.
radioators, other electrical devices, chimney, etc.).

The BZU 10-00 is an electronic level-indicator for analogue and digital CATV

Product discription:
The signal tester BZU 10-00 is suitable for easy checking, level control and
quick troubleshooting. Examples of measuring points include antenna sockets,
service area interfaces, antenna cables, HF outputs of DVD recorders or PC TV
cards. It can measure analogue and digital channels in the frequency range of
the KDG, KBW and Unity Media cable networks. It cannot measure DVB-T
signals. They can be measured by the TZU 22-01 from the AXING product
range.
The BZU 10-00 is not a replacement for a measuring instrument and
nor does it determine sloping positions.
Operation:
The signal tester is connected, for example, to the TV output of an antenna
socket using the cable MAK 30-80 and the adapter CFA 2-00.
Depending on the signal, the level is displayed on the LEDs of the BZU 10-00
by pressing the "Analog" or "Digital" button. The level in dBµV can be read
directly adjacent to the LED. Its resolution is 5 dBµV. If, for example, 70 is
displayed on the LED, the measured value is between 67.5dBµV and 72.5 dBµV
Upon releasing the key, the tester is switched off again.
