•WherePZpresetpositionswithmanualfocusarenotefcient,forexamplemovementswherethefocussettingchanges
continuously.
•Inlow-lightscenarios,wheretheautofocusischallengedbythelightingconditions.

Iftherearepartsofthescenethatyoudon’twantthecameratoreach,youcanlimitthepan,tilt,andzoommovements.For
example,youwanttoprotecttheprivacyofresidentsinanapartmentbuilding,whichislocatedclosetoaparkinglotthatyouintend
tomonitor.olimitthemovements,gotoSettings>PTZ>Limits.
Createagardtorwithpresetpositions
Aguardtourdisplaysthevideostreamfromdifferentpresetpositionseitherinapredeterminedorrandomorder,andforcongurable
periodsoftime.
1.GotoSettings>PTZ>Guardtours.
2.Click+.
3.oedittheguardtour’sproperties,click.
4.ypeanamefortheguardtourandspecifythepauselengthinminutesbetweeneachtour.
5.Ifyouwanttheguardtourtogotothepresetpositionsinarandomorder,turnonShufe.
6.ClickDone.
7.ClickAddtoaddthepresetpositionsthatyouwantinyourguardtour.
8.ClickDonetoexittheguardtoursettings.

3.Givetheinputmoduleadescriptivename,forexample“PIRdetector”.
4.otriggeraneventwheneverthePIRdetectorsensesmotion,selectOpencircuitinthedrop-down
