ThelivevieindointheproductprovidesaccesstoH.264andMotionJPEGvideostreams,andtothelistofavailablestream
proles.Otherapplicationsandclientscanaccessvideostreamsdirectly,ithoutgoingviathelivevieindo.

H.264can,ithoutcompromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comparediththeMotion
JPEGformatandasmuchas50%morethantheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatmuchlessnetorkbandidthandstoragespace
arerequiredforavideole.Orseenanotheray,muchhighervideoqualitycanbeachievedforagivenbitrate.
