Guide to supported USB Dongles

Introduction
This document lists the 3g/LTE dongles supported by the 700WR-3G router. Each successive
firmware version will retain support for the dongles already covered in previous versions. If
your dongle is not on the list, it does not necessarily mean that it will not work, since there
are many similarities in the function of different dongles. In this case, it is possible that some
limited functionality may be achieved. This list just however the only dongles that we
guarantee are supported.
Initial Setup
Simply insert an active SIM card into a supported dongle and insert the dongle into either of
the USB ports. If the SIM does not have PIN number enabled, it will work right away.
The default support function is to use the Dongler as a failover connection for ADSL. In the
default state, if your connection over ADSL stops working, the Dongle will automatically
connect (this may take a few moments) and you will continue to be online. Should you
connect the dongle to the router and not provide an ADSL line, then you connection will
automatically be over 3G/LTE.
If you SIM requires a PIN. This can be set up in the web interface as follows:
1) Open your preferred web browser and enter 10.0.0.2 in the address bar.
2) Log in (default username and password are admin)
3) Select Advanced Mode
4) Select Network
5) Select Mobile Broadband
6) Enter your SIm’s PIN number under SIM PIN
7) Click Apply
8) Click Logout
Your dongle should now be able to connect.
