METHOD 2: Use abottle brush withaflexible
handleandrunthebrushthroughthe Burner
Tubeand insidethe Burner severaltimesto
removeanydebris.
METHOD3: Use an air hoseto force air through
eachBurner Tube.The forcedairshould pass
debrisor obstructionsthrough the Burner and out
the Ports.

Carefully lift each Burner upandawayfrom theGas
ValveOrifice.
Check and clean Burner/Venturi Tubesfor insects
and insect nests. Aclogged tube can lead to afire
beneath thegrill.
Spiders and small insects can spin webs and nest
inthegrillBurnerTubesduringtransitandware-
housingwhichcanleadtoagasflowobstruction
resultingin afire in andaround the Burner Tubes.
Thistype of"FLASHBACK FIRE" can cause serious
grill damageandcreate an unsafeoperating con-
ditionfortheuser.
Toreduce thechance of FLASHBACK FIRE
you must cleanthe Burner Tubes as follows
beforeinitial use. Alsodothisatleastoncea
monthin summer and fallor whenever spidersare
active inyour area,andif yourgrill hasnotbeen
used for an extendedperiodoftime.
Removethescrewsfromthe rearofeachMain Burner
usingaPhillips Head Screwdriverorwrench.
WARNING: Greasecangetveryhot.AlwayshandletheGrease
Traywithaflameretardant BBQ mitt.Before removing the
Tray,alwaysbe surethatthegrillhasproperlycooled. Be
aware that theTraydoes contain grease andbe extremely
careful whenremovingthe Tray to prevent spillage. Failure to
followthese instructions couldcauseseriousbodilyinjury or
propertydamage.

Open lidof shipping carton. Removetop sheet of
cardboard andpackingmaterials.Lay cardboardsheet
on floorand use as awork surfaceto protect floor and
grill parts fromscratches.
Youmayslice the cartonfront corners with autilityknife
tolay openthecartonfrontpanel.Thisallows youto
raisethe Lidandremovethecomponentspacked inside,
makingit easier tolift.
Use theHardwareand Part Diagrams to ensure allitems
are included and free of damage.
Do not throw awaythe bags ofhardware that are in-
cluded with boxed parts. These are required for assem-
bly.
Do not assembleor operate the grillifit appears
damaged. Iftherearedamagedor missingpartswhen
you unpack theshippingboxor youhavequestionsdur-

Install the Transformer. Connect theTransformer to Power Source andTurn onthe Lights.
2InstalltheTransformerMounting BrackettotheundersideoftheLeftPanel oftheBowlFrameusing
2PhillipsHeadScrews 1/4"x1/4"and2Plain Washers1/4"andtighten securely(seeFig.1).
Attach theTransformerto the Transformer Mounting Bracketbyinserting thetwostud bolts onthe transformer
bracket into the twokey holes onthe Mounting Bracket as shown. Pressthe Transformer downward until
it rests in place. (see Fig. 2&Fig. 3).
Insert Transformer-Plug into Transformer-Socket and tightensecurely.(see Fig.4).
Dependingonyourislandconstruction, you mayneedtomake one holeonyour RearIslandPanel.Make
sure the cord doesn't touch the ground. Connect theTransformer power supplycord plug into aproperly
grounded120VAC outlet.
Turn on theGrill Lightsbypushing theLeftLightSwitch on theControlPanel.
TurnontheControlKnobSeat LED LightsbypushingtheRight LED SwitchontheControlPanel.

On the proper location, drill 3holes on the island left bottompanel for installing the tank trayset. Then
installtanktraysetusing3PanHeadScrews3/16"x3/8"andtightensecurely.
Connect the stainless steel flexibleconnector tothe manifoldand regulator,then use aclamptohold
thestainlesssteelflexibleconnectoras shown for securing.
PlacetheLPgastankintothetanktray set.Makesure thetankvalve facingthe rightrearcornerof
leftisland.Tightenthewing bolttosecuretheLPgastank.(SeeFig.3)
Connect theLPregulatoronto theLPgas tank.
CAUTION: There shall be aminimumclearanceof 2inches (50.8 mm) between the floor of the LP-gas cylinder
enclosure and the ground. Proper ventilation must be added totheisland.

Whenyouhave finishedassemblingyourgrill,
be surethatallscrewsare tightened for safe
operation of your grill.
Beforeeachuseofthegrill,makesurethe
Grease Trayisfullyseated under theGrill Bowl.
CAUTION:Before each useof your grill, inspect
the Grease Tray,Grease TrayHeat Shield and in-
side of the Grill Bowlto be sure there is no exces-
sive grease anddebris buildup. Clean theGrease
Tray,GreaseTrayHeat Shield andinsideofthe
GrillBowlfrequentlytoeliminategrease/debris
build-upandtopreventgreasefires.

youwillhear a"clicking" soundastheburner
is beingignited. Your assistant should see a

Ifnospark isseen,theSparkGapneedsto
be adjustedas follows:

TheLP Gastankmusthaveashutoffvalve, terminating
inanLPGassupply tankvalve outlet,thatiscompatible
with aType1tankconnectiondevice.The LPGastank
mustalsohaveasafetyreliefdevicethathasadirect
connection withthe vaporspaceofthetank.
Thetank supplysystemmust be arrangedforvapor
withdrawal.

fromtheenclosure. LP Gas vaporis heavier than air
