NVGVIEW™ projection
The stimulation of NVG
devices and accurate
display of night vision
effects are critical to NVG
simulation training. Barco's
NVGVIEW system add-on
ena les users wearing NVG
devices to see right,
properly defined targets
and images for true training
scenario accuracy and realism. Barco’s NVGVIEW can e used
in firearms training, flight simulation, reconnaissance
simulation, forward o server, and a wide variety of other
mission essential applications.
New: BARCOREALITY SIM 5PL S
Barco proudly introduces
its new SIM 5plus
network-centric, dual
lamp, single-chip DLP™
projector. Integrating
Barco’s unique WARP 6™
geometry correction technology and an impressive range of
dedicated simulation functionalities ensures that the units will
operate together seamlessly in a display system: DYNACOLOR,
Constant Light Output (CLO), Optical Soft Edge Matching
(OSEM) and Extended Contrast Ratio (ECR) capa ility.
The native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels) of Barco’s
new SIM 5PLUS delivers the visual fidelity needed for optimal
target details and training accuracy, while picture in picture
display enlarges the capa ilities for riefing and de riefing.
The compact form factor and the wide range of on- and off-
axis-capa le lenses, makes the SIM 5PLUS easy to integrate in
a large variety of positions. A wide range of high- andwidth
analog and digital inputs offers versatile connection facilities,
while a uilt-in processor and memory and a high speed
network connection facilitates centralized simulator
management and lightning-fast cross-system remote control.
The integration of Barco’s unique WARP 6™ with i-cu ic
interpolation inside the projector reduces overall system MTBF.

The native 1920 x 1080 HDTV
resolution and 16:9 wide aspect ratio
plus versatile windowing allows the ICON to
display multiple sources in full detail on just one
screen, making the projector an ideal solution for
colla orative analysis, decision-making and sniper weapon
training.
This remarka le 6,000 ANSI lumen LCD projector is equipped
with a powerful integrated display server, which can e easily
adapted to the user’s network infrastructure, ena ling instant,
colla orative meetings etween remote meeting sites. Control
over a projector can e passed instantly over a LAN to any
meeting location. A complete fleet of projectors can e fully
managed and monitored over the network from the central
IT/AV service.

hardware visualization solution for Homeland and National
Security. This powerful tool analyzes large, complex data sets
and graphically renders key relationships in stereo 3D so you
can identify threats, perform group analysis and evaluation,
colla orate from multiple locations, and interact with multi-
faceted data in "real time".

Barco SEER™ mini-dome
The SEER mini-dome system is
arco's solution for the ultimate in
immersive simulation training. It is a
compact and flexible visualization
solution that consists of a custom
240°/270° spherical dome structure,
multi-channel projection system,
sophisticated alignment and control
tools, and dedicated peripheral
devices.
The Barco SEER mini-dome system
provides constant eye relief over the
entire spherical surface and optimizes
out-of-window scenes. The spherical
shape maintains a constant distance
etween the user’s eye and the
projected simulation, preventing the
user’s eyes from having to adjust to
geometric changes in the surface area.
Barco’s SEER mini-dome is c rrently sed by the
U.S. Air Force and other sim lation facilities for
military flight training applications.

arco’s DMO solution links combat
and support simulators with other
command and control systems to
provide a continuous, up-to-date
picture of the battlefield. It allows
airborne, ground, maritime, and
unmanned assets to train as a team
from remote locations while
interacting in real time.
arco’s DMO solution can be
configured with a wide range of
arco display system technology,
such as the SEER™ mini-dome,
HALO™ rear-projected system,
ICOMMAND™ large-screen display
solution, and DIGITAL SCRI E™ image
record/playback system, to meet
your mission training center needs.
The arco DMO solution is also
scalable to accommodate specific
space requirements and budget.
Whether you need a single system at
a single facility, or several systems at
multiple facilities, arco has your
DMO solution.
The SEER also creates a seamless
projection surface and offers greater
continuous visual range. Pixel size is
uniform from front to top channels.
Users experience full-immersive training
at a level not previously possi le. The
projection technology is optimized for
matching color, rightness, gray scale,
and other visual parameters.
The Barco SEER mini-dome has a small footprint
and low height profile to maximize training space.
It can operate as a discrete system or networked
with other mini-domes for gro ped fighting
applications to increase training effectiveness.

Digital Scribe for briefing/debriefing
arco’s DIGITAL SCRI E is a digital image recording system
that can be used for briefing and debriefing applications.
Through a unique set of compression techniques for effective
recording of RGB outputs, stored images of a mission can e
played ack for later review and analysis.
The DIGITAL SCRIBE workstation contains a PCI form factor
graphics recorder oard that converts RGB data com ined
with radar and video into a compressed digital stream of
data. The compression algorithm, developed y Barco, is
downward compati le with the MPEG2 standard.
Barco iCommand™
arco’s ICOMMAND is a large-screen, multi-source and multi-
sensor display solution. In arco’s DMO solution, it
provides a "god’s eye" view of the entire military training
operation.
ICOMMAND features the latest image and data acquisition and
processing technologies to increase information superiority in

HALO™ rear-projected,
continuous view display
system
arco’s new HALO system is a simple
and cost-effective immersive display
that's designed to improve military
training performance.
This solution is powered y a Barco
projection system that projects training
content onto a unique cylindrical, rear-
projection screen, creating a
continuous field-of-view. The multi-
channel, edge- lended display system
eliminates distracting shadows
produced in front-projected display
systems, as well as view-interrupting
ezels typically found in LCD panel
systems. Barco projection technology is
optimized for matching color,
rightness, grayscale, and other visual
parameters to maximize the simulation
experience.
HALO is a res lt of Barco’s collaboration with the
military to improve training performance and
increase the military’s effectiveness.
