Before installation
The telescopic loft ladder is
perfectly safe when correctly
installed and will support a weight
of up to 150 Kgs. Please observe
the following safety procedures:
–Do not attempt to climb your loft
ladder until installation is
complete.
–Use a second ladder to gain
access to the loft while carrying
out the work. Ensure that this is
stable.
–During installation and operation,
follow all instructions step by
step to ensure your safety and
optimum performance of the loft
ladder.
–When installation is complete,
before using the ladder make
sure that it is pulled fully down
and both feet are resting rmly
on the oor and that the locking
mechanism is properly engaged.
Observe the instructions for the
optimum safe working angle.
–Observe normal safety
precautions when working in the
loft space. Place weight only on
the main ceiling joists. Do not
drill above head height. Avoid
contact with electrical wiring.
–Ensure someone else is on the
premises and knows where you
are in case of an accident.
–Do not modify any component
supplied with this product or
substitute any loft ladder
component with anything other
than genuine replacement parts.
Installation
Mounting the stowage hook
(See Fig. 1).
1. Place the stowage hook (M) in
position on the rear side of the
bottom rung and align their
holes.
2. Fasten the screws (N) together
with the spring washer (O) and
washer (P) tightly.
Install the stowage frame
(See Fig. 2).
1. Place one of the stowage frame
tube (E) in position on the
Mounting bracket (B1, B2)
shorter swivel arm and align
their holes.
2. From the outer edge, guide the
bolt (F) through mounting holes.
3. Fasten the bolts with the nuts.
4. Repeat this procedure to x the
other stowage frame tube (E).
Install the spring bolt and
carrier tube
(See Fig. 2).
Prior to tting, measure and make
note of the ceiling height "H" where
you will be installing your loft
ladder. Use Table 1 to identify the

conguration that is required for
your oor to ceiling height and
ensure you have sufcient
clearance Hatch length "L" and
Hatch width "W" for the ladder to
be installed in the loft hatch.
1. From the outer edge, guide the
bracket spring bolt (D) through
mounting holes according to the
conguration (see Table 1).
2. Fasten the bolts with the nuts
tightly.
3. Slide the carrier tube (H) into
both stowage frame tube (E).
4. Adjust the position to make the
holes of the stowage frame tube
(E) and carrier tube (H) align.
5. Guide the frame tube spring bolt
(I) and carrier tube bolt (J)
through mounting holes
according to the conguration
and fasten the bolts tightly.
Mounting the ladder
(See Fig. 3, 4 & 5).
Prior to tting, measure and make
note of the ceiling height "H" where
you will be installing your loft
ladder. Use Table 1 to identify the
conguration that is required for
your oor to ceiling height and
ensure you have sufcient
clearance Hatch length "L" and
Hatch width "W" for the ladder to
be installed in the loft hatch.
1. Slide the safety lock towards the
center of the rung using a
screwdriver (see Fig. 5).
2. Adjust the other end of the tube
into the corresponding length
3. Remove the screwdriver. Make
sure that the safety lock snaps
back into the correct position
and secure the whole thing by
means of a lock placing the
supplied cover caps (Q).
4. Place the both tubes in position
on the mounting bracket (B1,
B2) longer swivel arm and align
their holes.
5. From the outer edge, guide the
bolt (G) through mounting holes.
6. Fasten the bolts with the nuts
tightly.
7. Repeat this procedure to x the
other side of the tube.
Mounting the loft ladder
(See Fig. 6).
1. Place the ladder on a rm level
surface. Stabilize the ladder with
one foot placed on the lowest
rung.
2. Open the ladder from the top by
gripping the top rung with both
hands. Extend the top section
fully, then the next section fully.
At the same time check that
both locking levers are in its
locked position ( See Fig. 12 &
Fig. 13).

3. Continue opening section by
section, until the ladder is
opened to its full length.
4. Put the ladder on the mounting
position. Place the mount
brackets (B1, B2) against the
ceiling joist (See Fig. 6).
5. Adjust the position to make sure
the ladder is located on the
middle position of the hatch.
6. Mark the centre point of all
bracket holes.
7. Remove the ladder and drill
4mm diameter holes at the
positions just marked.
8. Put the ladder back and x the
brackets using the xing screws
(C) (See Fig. 6).
WARNING!
The ladder can fall over during the
mounting. It can lead to damage to
property or injury to persons. If
necessary ,get assistance from a
second person for assembly
WARNING!
Do not attempt to climb your loft
ladder until installation is complete.
(See Fig. 8).
Use a second ladder to gain access
to the loft while carrying out the
work. Ensure that this is stable.
Mounting the spring
(See Fig. 7)
There is groove at each end of the
frame tube spring bolt (I) to hold
the spring in place when installed:
1. Place the springs (K) in spring
bolt grooves.
2. Extend the spring so that the
free end of the spring can reach
the spring bolt and place the
spring into the groove.
3. Repeat for the other spring.
WARNING!
Be very careful when ,mounting the
spring, as there is not stop to
prevent the frame from swinging
forward with considerable force if it
is moved inadvertently. It can lead
to damage or injury to persons.
Opening the ladder
To open the telescopic loft ladder,
proceed as follows:
1. Hold the strap at the carrier tube
and pull it downwards (Fig.9),
the spring will swivel the ladder
to vertical position (Fig.10).
2. Grip the bottom stiles of the
ladder, push up to un-hook the
ladder stowage hook on the rear
of rung from the carrier tube
(Fig.11).

3. Pull down the ladder by gripping
the ladder stile with both hands.
Extend the sections fully before
touching the oor. At the same
time check both locking levers
are in its locked position
(Fig.12).
4. Continue opening section by
section, until the ladder is
extended to its full length
(Fig.13).
WARNING!
Check carefully that each locking
lever be in its locked position.
Closing the ladder
To close the telescopic loft ladder,
proceed as follows:
1. Clean the ladder if required.
2. Release the sliding safety locks
at the bottom (Fig.14).
3. Grip the lower stiles and push
up (Fig.15). Unlock and close
the remaining rung sections
automatically starting from the
bottom and moving upwards
one section at a time.
4. Unlock and close all rungs in the
same way.
5. Grip the bottom stiles and lift up
the ladder, place the stowage
hook located on the rear of the
rung onto the carrier tube
(Fig.16).
6. Raise the ladder and then the
springs will pull the ladder to a
horizontal position, hold the belt
to make it return back gently
(Fig.17)
WARNING!
To avoid the risk of getting your
hands trapped, do not put on or
between the rungs while closing the
ladder.

Vor der Montage
Die Teleskopische Dachbodenleiter
ist bei korrekter Montage absolut
sicher und hat eine Tragfähigkeit
von bis zu 150kg. Beachten Sie
bitte die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:
–Besteigen Sie die
Dachbodenleiter nicht, bevor die
Montage abgeschlossen ist.
–Verwenden Sie für den Zugang
zum Dachboden während der
Arbeiten eine zweite Leiter.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass diese
stabil ist.
–Befolgen Sie bei der Montage
und beim Gebrauch alle
Anweisungen Schritt für Schritt,
um Ihre Sicherheit und eine
optimale Leistung der
Dachbodenleiter zu
gewährleisten.
–Vergewissern Sie sich nach
Abschluss der Montage, dass die
Leiter vollständig ausgezogen ist,
beide Füße fest auf dem Boden
stehen und der
Verriegelungsmechanismus
ordnungsgemäß eingerastet ist,
bevor Sie die Leiter benutzen.
Beachten Sie die Anweisungen
für den optimalen sicheren
Anstellwinkel.
–Beachten Sie die üblichen
Sicherheitshinweise für Arbeiten
auf dem Dachboden. Belasten
Sie nur die Hauptdeckenbalken.
Bohren Sie nicht über dem Kopf.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit
Elektrokabeln.
–Sorgen Sie dafür, dass eine
andere Person anwesend ist und
weiß, wo Sie sich im Falle eines
Unfalls benden.
–Verändern Sie keine der mit
diesem Produkt gelieferten
Komponenten und ersetzen Sie
Komponenten der
Dachbodenleiter nur durch
Originalersatzteile.
Montage
Montage des Stauhakens
(Siehe Abb. 1).
1. Bringen Sie den Stauhaken (M)
auf der Rückseite der untersten
Sprosse an und richten Sie die
Bohrungen aneinander aus.
2. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben (N)
zusammen mit der Federscheibe
(O) und der Unterlegscheibe (P)
fest.
Montage des Tragrahmens
(Siehe Abb. 2).
1. Setzen Sie eines der
Tragrahmenrohre (E) auf den
kürzeren Schwenkarm der
Montagehalterung (B1, B2) und
richten Sie die Bohrungen
aneinander aus.

2. Führen Sie die Schraube (F) von
der Außenkante aus durch die
Befestigungsbohrungen.
3. Befestigen Sie die Schrauben
mit den Muttern.
4. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang
zur Montage des anderen
Tragrahmenrohrs (E).
Montage von Federbolzen
und Querrohr
(Siehe Abb. 2).
Messen Sie vor der Montage die
Deckenhöhe „H“ an der Stelle, wo
Sie die Dachbodenleiter anbringen
wollen, und notieren Sie sich diese.
Ermitteln Sie anhand von Tabelle 1
die für die Höhe vom Boden bis zur
Decke erforderliche Konguration.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Lukenlänge „L“ und die Lukenbreite
„B“ für die Montage der Leiter in
der Dachbodenluke ausreichen.
1. Führen Sie die Schraube der
Halterungsfeder (D)
entsprechend der Konguration
(siehe Tabelle 1) von der
Außenkante aus durch die
Befestigungsbohrungen.
2. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben mit
den Muttern fest.
3. Schieben Sie das Querrohr (H)
durch die beiden
Tragrahmenrohre (E).
4. Positionieren Sie es so aus,
dass die Bohrungen des
Tragrahmenrohrs (E) und des
Querrohrs (H) aneinander
ausgerichtet sind.
5. Führen Sie die Rahmenrohr-
Federbolzen (I) und die
Querrohr-Schraube (J)
entsprechend der Konguration
durch die
Befestigungsbohrungen und
ziehen Sie beide fest.
Montage der Leiter
(Siehe Abb. 3, 4 und 5).
Messen Sie vor der Montage die
Deckenhöhe „H“ an der Stelle, wo
Sie die Dachbodenleiter anbringen
wollen, und notieren Sie sich diese.
Ermitteln Sie anhand von Tabelle 1
die für die Höhe vom Boden bis zur
Decke erforderliche Konguration.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Lukenlänge „L“ und die Lukenbreite
„B“ für die Montage der Leiter in
der Dachbodenluke ausreichen.
1. Schieben Sie die
Sicherheitsverriegelung mit
einem Schraubendreher zur Mitte
der Sprosse (siehe Abb. 5).
2. Stellen Sie das andere Ende des
Rohrs auf die entsprechende
Länge ein.
3. Entfernen Sie den
Schraubendreher. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die
Sicherheitsverriegelung in der
richtigen Position wieder
einrastet. Sichern Sie das

Ganze, indem Sie die
mitgelieferten Abdeckkappen
(Q) zur Verriegelung aufsetzen.
4. Stecken Sie beide Rohre auf die
längeren Schwenkarme der
Montagehalterung (B1, B2) und
richten Sie die Bohrungen
aneinander aus.
5. Führen Sie die Schraube (G) von
der Außenkante aus durch die
Befestigungsbohrungen.
6. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben mit
den Muttern fest.
7. Wiederholen Sie diesen
Vorgang, um das Rohr der
anderen Seite zu befestigen.
Montage der Dachbodenleiter
(Siehe Abb. 6).
1. Stellen Sie die Leiter auf eine
feste, ebene Fläche.
Stabilisieren Sie die Leiter,
indem Sie einen Fuß auf die
unterste Sprosse stellen.
2. Ziehen Sie die Leiter vom
oberen Ende her aus, indem Sie
die oberste Sprosse mit beiden
Händen greifen. Ziehen Sie den
obersten Abschnitt vollständig
aus, dann den nächsten. Prüfen
Sie dabei, ob sich beide
Verriegelungshebel in der
Verriegelungsposition benden
(siehe Abb. 12 und Abb. 13).
3. Ziehen Sie die Leiter Abschnitt
für Abschnitt aus, bis sie
vollständig ausgezogen ist.
4. Bringen Sie die Leiter in
Montageposition. Führen Sie die
Halterungen (B1, B2) gegen den
Deckenbalken (siehe Abb. 6).
5. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich die
Leiter mittig in der
Dachbodenluke bendet.
6. Markieren Sie die Mittelpunkte
aller Bohrungen der Halterung.
7. Entfernen Sie die Leiter und
bohren Sie an den soeben
markierten Stellen Löcher mit
4 mm Durchmesser.
8. Stellen Sie die Leiter wieder an
die vorgesehene Stelle und
schrauben Sie die Halterungen
mit den Befestigungsschrauben
(C) fest (siehe Abb. 6).
WARNUNG!
Die Leiter kann während der
Montage umfallen. Dies kann
Sachschaden und Verletzungen
verursachen. Lassen Sie sich bei
Bedarf von einer zweiten Person bei
der Montage helfen.
WARNUNG!
Besteigen Sie die Dachbodenleiter
nicht, bevor die Montage
abgeschlossen ist. (Siehe Abb. 8).
Verwenden Sie für den Zugang zum
Dachboden während der Arbeiten
eine zweite Leiter. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass diese stabil ist.

Montage der Feder
(Siehe Abb. 7)
An jedem Ende des Rahmenohr-
Federbolzens (I) bendet sich eine
Nut, die die Feder nach dem Einbau
in Position hält:
1. Setzen Sie die Federn (K) in die
Nuten der Federbolzen ein.
2. Ziehen Sie die Feder so weit
auseinander, dass das freie
Ende der Feder den Federbolzen
erreicht, und setzen Sie die
Feder in die Nut ein.
3. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang

Seien Sie bei der Montage der
Feder sehr vorsichtig, da es keinen
Anschlag gibt, der verhindert, dass
der Rahmen mit großer Kraft nach
vorne schwingt, wenn er
versehentlich bewegt wird. Dies
kann Sachschaden und
Verletzungen verursachen.
Die Leiter ausziehen
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die
Teleskopleiter auszuziehen:
1. Nehmen Sie die am Querrohr
des Rahmens befestigte Leine
und ziehen Sie sie nach unten
(Abb. 9). Die Feder schwenkt
die Leiter herab (Abb.10).
2. Drücken Sie die unteren Holme
der Leiter etwas nach oben, um
den Stauhaken der Leiter auf
der Rückseite der Sprosse aus
dem Querrohr des Rahmens zu
lösen (Abb.11).
3. Ziehen Sie die Leiter nach
unten, indem Sie die
Leiterholme mit beiden Händen
festhalten. Ziehen Sie die
Abschnitte vollständig aus,
bevor die Leiter auf dem Boden
aufsetzt. Prüfen Sie dabei, ob
sich beide Verriegelungshebel in
der Verriegelungsposition
benden (Abb. 12).
4. Ziehen Sie die Leiter Abschnitt für
Abschnitt aus, bis sie vollständig
ausgezogen ist (Abb. 13).
WARNUNG!
Prüfen Sie sorgfältig, ob sich jeder
Verriegelungshebel in der
Verriegelungsposition bendet.
Die Leiter einschieben
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die
Teleskopleiter einzuschieben:
1. Reinigen Sie bei Bedarf die
Leiter.
2. Lösen Sie die
Verriegelungsschieber am
unteren Ende (Abb. 14).
3. Drücken Sie die Leiter an den
Holmen nach oben (Abb.15).
Entriegeln Sie die übrigen
Sprossenabschnitte und
schieben Sie sie ein, indem Sie
von unten beginnend einen

Abschnitt nach dem anderen
aufwärts schieben.
4. Entriegeln Sie alle Sprossen auf
diese Weise und schieben Sie
sie ein.
5. Drücken Sie die Leiter am
unteren Ende der Holme
aufwärts und haken Sie den
Stauhaken, der sich an der
Rückseite der Sprosse bendet,
in das Querrohr des
Tragrahmens ein (Abb. 16).
6. Drücken Sie die Leiter aufwärts.
Ziehen Sie die Federn in die
waagerechte Lage. Halten Sie
die Leine fest, damit die Leiter
sanft zurückschwenkt (Abb. 17).
WARNUNG!
Greifen Sie beim Einschieben nicht
auf oder zwischen die Sprossen,
um sich nicht die Hände
einzuklemmen.

Avant l’installation
L’échelle de grenier télescopique
est parfaitement sûre lorsqu’elle est
correctement installée et
supportera un poids allant jusqu’à
150kg. Veuillez respecter les
consignes de sécurité suivantes:
–N’essayez pas de grimper sur
votre échelle de grenier tant que
l’installation n’est pas terminée.
–Servez-vous d’une deuxième
échelle pour accéder au grenier
pendant la réalisation du travail.
Assurez-vous qu’elle est stable.
–Pendant l’installation et
l’utilisation, suivez toutes les
instructions étape par étape pour
assurer votre sécurité et les
performances optimales de
l’échelle de grenier.
–Lorsque l’installation est
terminée, avant d’utiliser
l’échelle, assurez-vous qu’elle
est complètement abaissée, que
les deux pieds reposent
fermement sur le sol et que le
mécanisme de verrouillage est
correctement engagé. Respectez
les consignes pour obtenir
l’angle de travail présentant une
sécurité optimale.
–Respectez les consignes de
sécurité normales lorsque vous
travaillez dans le grenier. Placer
le poids uniquement sur les
solives du plafond principal. Ne
percez pas au-dessus de la
hauteur de tête. Évitez tout
contact avec le câblage
électrique.
–Assurez-vous que quelqu’un
d’autre est sur les lieux et sait où
vous êtes en cas d’accident.
–Ne modiez aucun élément
fourni avec ce produit et ne
remplacez aucun élément de
l’échelle de grenier par autre
chose que les pièces de
rechange d’origine.
Installation
Montage du crochet de
rangement
(Voir Fig.1)
1. Placez le crochet de rangement
(M) en position sur le côté
arrière de l’échelon inférieur et
alignez leurs trous.
2. Serrez bien les vis (N) avec la
rondelle élastique (O) et la
rondelle (P).
Installation du cadre de
rangement
(Voir Fig.2)
1. Placez l’un des tubes du cadre
de rangement (E) en position
sur le bras pivotant le plus court
du support de montage (B1,
B2) et alignez leurs trous.
2. À partir du bord extérieur, guidez
le boulon (F) à travers les trous
de xation.

3. Serrez les boulons avec les
écrous.
4. Répétez cette procédure pour
xer l’autre tube du cadre de
rangement (E).
Installation du boulon à
ressort et du tube porteur
(Voir Fig.2)
Avant installation, mesurez et notez
la hauteur de plafond «H» où vous
installerez votre échelle de grenier.
Utilisez le Tableau1 pour identier
la conguration requise pour votre
hauteur sol-plafond et assurez-vous
que vous la longueur de trappe
«L» et la largeur de trappe «l» de
dégagement sont sufsantes pour
installer l’échelle dans la trappe du
grenier.
1. À partir du bord extérieur, guidez
le boulon à ressort du support
(D) à travers les trous de
xation en fonction de la
conguration (voir Tableau1).
2. Serrez fermement les boulons
avec les écrous.
3. Faites glisser le tube porteur (H)
dans les deux tubes du cadre de
rangement (E).
4. Réglez la position pour aligner
les trous du tube de cadre de
rangement (E) et du tube
porteur (H).
5. Guidez le boulon à ressort du
tube de cadre (I) et le boulon du
tube porteur (J) à travers les
trous de xation en fonction de
la conguration et serrez les
boulons fermement.
Montage de l’échelle
(Voir Fig.3, 4 et 5)
Avant installation, mesurez et notez
la hauteur de plafond «H» où vous
installerez votre échelle de grenier.
Utilisez le Tableau1 pour identier
la conguration requise pour votre
hauteur sol-plafond et assurez-vous
que vous la longueur de trappe
«L» et la largeur de trappe «l» de
dégagement sont sufsantes pour
installer l’échelle dans la trappe du
grenier.
1. Faites glisser le verrou de
sécurité vers le centre de
l’échelon à l’aide d’un tournevis
(voir Fig.5).
2. Ajustez l’autre extrémité du tube
à la longueur correspondante.
3. Retirez le tournevis. Assurez-
vous que le verrou de sécurité
s’enclenche à nouveau dans la
bonne position et xez
l’ensemble au moyen d’un
verrou en plaçant les capuchons
de protection fournis (Q).
