Please observe safety instructions!
Improper operation of the system may
result in personal injury and cause
damage to objects!
1. Unplug the power cord in case of smoke,
smell or unusual noise. Disconnect the
power cable.
2. Make sure no objects or parts of the
body are caught in when operating the
drive.
3. Do not adjust the height of the furniture if
other people are close by.
4. Do not place any objects or body parts
between stationary and movable pieces.
5. It is only possible to adjust the height
in the incremental mode. In case an
obstacle is encountered, or there are
functional errors, stop the adjustment
immediately.
6. Make sure adjacent objects are placed at
a minimum distance of 25 mm to prevent
them from being squeezed or sheared.
7. Make sure that there are safety gaps of at
least 25 mm for movable parts (this also
applies to organisational elements that
are attached above or below the furniture
or hanging from nearby walls, as well as to
building fixtures, such as open windows).
8. The protection against uncontrolled move-
ment does not prevent objects from being
trapped! For physical reasons, "soft"
obstacles are not easily recognised and
evaluated, if at all!

9. If the hardware hits an obstacle, slight
damage to the obstacle (scratching,
marks, etc.) is possible because the desk
is lifted at nominal speed!
10. It is not allowed to change or modify the
control mechanism or the control element.
11. Never attempt to open the enclosure
of the control unit or the power supply!
Unauthorised opening of the enclosure
and improper repairs can cause danger
and voids the warranty.
12. Only professionals authorised by the
manufacturer may carry out any main
tenance resp. reparations.
13. Do not operate devices in explosive
environments.
14. This furniture is only certified for commer-
cial office and administrative areas within
rooms.
15. This device can be used by children age
8 or older and by persons with physical,
sensory or mental disabilities or by those
who lack experience and knowledge if they
are supervised or were instructed on the
safe use of the device and understand the
resulting dangers. Children must not play
with the device. Children must not clean
or service the device without supervision.
16. The manufacturer assumes no liability for
damage resulting from improper use.

17. Connection plug boards must be fixed
properly for easy plugging and unplugging.
Plugs and connection plug boards must
be located in such a way that no fluids
come into contact with electrical equip-
ment when the office furniture is used
properly.
18. The power cable must be secured in the
strain relief. Interconnecting cables may
be run loosely. All lines and cables must
be run in such a manner as to avoid
mechanical damage
(i.e., shearing, abrasion,...)
19. If the furniture has movable or height-
adjustable parts, particular care must be
taken: Cables must be sufficiently long to
allow height adjustments without dama-
ging the cables and wiring
(i.e., stretching, crushing, ...).
20. If the electrical cable of this device
is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its customer service
or by a similarly qualified person to avoid
risks.
21. Do not spill liquids into control unit or
power supply unit to avoid electrical shock
or short circuits.
22. The operation of the control mechanism
and the power supply unit requires a
minimum of 5°C and a maximum tempe-
rature of 40°C.

23. For the above reasons do not install the
control unit:
- above or below heat sources
(e.g. heaters)
- at places exposed to direct sunlight
- in small, unventilated or humid rooms
- near easily flammable materials
- near high-frequency devices
(e. g. transmitters, radiation equipment
or similar).
Warning:In the event of a fault, the
table top may move slightly with every
attempt to operate the drive before the
safety shutdown is activated.
Please take care to avoid possible
danger of crushing!

inactive during all reset processes
(section 5). Please take care to avoid

Caution:If the product is visibly dama-
ged, it must not be installed or used!
24. After 2 minutes of continuous operation
the system automatically shuts itself off
and cannot be used for an additional 18
minutes.This keeps the motor from over-
heating.
25. Do not exceed maximum
load of 75 kg.

If the table top is already assembled, table top clips
must be unfastened and table top lifted to allow pro-
per clipping of the cable tray clips to the cross beam.

GENERAL. LEVELLING & LOAD INFORMATION
For the Twin Table, the table must be reset with elec-
tronic height adjustment after levelling.
CAUTION: The protection against uncontrolled move-
ment is deactivated during resetting. Make sure there
are no objects or impediments under the table.
LEVELLING
Load: 0 - 40 kg
(including PC, PC holder, etc. have to be taken into account)
The stiffness of the crank handle depends on the load.
Small load: stiff towards the bottom
Large load: stiff towards the top
Optimal load: 18 kg for table size of 1600 x 800
(19 mm chipboard)

If the actual table top position no longer corresponds to the displayed table top position, or if a pre-configured motor control
unit is used for a similar electrically height-adjustable workstation, then you need to compare the final level with the lowest
table top position.
1. Press the button lower table top
Hold the lower table top button until the table top
has reached the lowest position. (programmed table top position)
2. Press the button lower table top once again and hold this button down.
3. After about 5 seconds, the table top is adjusted further downward
until the absolutely lowest table top position is reached.
Release the button lower table top.
The electrically height-adjustable workstation
can now be used again normally.
Warning:During all reset procedures and end position alignment, the intelligent system protection (ISP) against uncontrolled
movement is inactive. Please take care to avoid possible danger of crushing!

These two features can be used to limit the table’s range of movement (e.g. if a pedestal is located under the table). A pedestal-
stop position can be set in the lower half of the range of movement, and a shelf-stop position can be set in the upper half. If
a pedestal-stop position is set, this is used as a new lower end position; a shelf-stop position corresponds to a new upper end
position for the range of movement. To save a pedestal-stop or shelf-stop position, do the following:

Position the table top where you want to set the new pedestal-stop or shelf-stop position. Use the
lower table position or raise table position buttons to manoeuvre the table into position.
Bring the table top into an arbitrary position in the lower half of the range of movement to deacti-
vate the pedestal-stop. / Bring the table top into an arbitrary position in the upper half of the range
of movement to deactivate the shelf-stop.
Note:A pedestal-stop position can only be set in the lower half of the range of movement, and a
shelf-stop position can only be set in the upper half of the range of movement.
Press the button for 10 seconds. The SMART clicks twice when the position has been saved.
Use the lower table position or raise table position buttons to manoeuvre the table into position.
Press the button for 10 seconds. The SMART clicks once when the position has been deleted.
Note: These steps have to be performed separately for a pedestal-stop position and a shelf-stop position!

. Hold this button combination for about 3 seconds.
