2� Important Safeguards
As with every electrical device, use this air purifier carefully and cautiously in order to avoid hazards due to
electric shock. Read the notes carefully! Non-observance of the following information may result in personal
injury or product/property damage.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury:
• Read all instructions before use.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
• NEVER put the cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiator, stoves or heaters.
• DO NOT immerse the device in water or other liquids. Do not use near water.
• Always supervise children when they are near the unit.
• Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, opening the front cover, changing filters, cleaning or
whenever the air purifier is not in use.
• Be sure to pull by the plug and not the cord.
• NEVER drop or insert any object into any openings.
• DO NOT run cord under carpeting.
• DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
• DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances.
• The device is intended for household use only, as described in this manual. Any other use not recom-
mended by the manufacturer may cause fie, electric shock or injury.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT store any items on top of the unit.
• NEVER block the air openings, grills/outlets or place on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa, as this
could cause the unit to tip over, blocking the air intake or outtake opening.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will
void the warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be
performed by qualified personnel only.
• Keep packaging material away from children to avoid danger of suffocation.
•
DO NOT operate the device at voltages other than those indicated on the device (the rating plate is
located on the back of the device), if it or its accessories show visible signs of damage, or during a
thunderstorm.
• In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and disconnect it from
the electrical outlet. DO NOT pull on the power cord or on the device to disconnect the plug from the
socket. Never hold or carry the device by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
• Always switch off the device before disconnecting it from the electrical outlet.
• NEVER disconnect the power cord with wet or damp hands.
• Keep the device and cord away from sources of heat as the housing could melt and trigger a fire.
•
Ensure that the openings of the device and the power cord do not come into contact with water, steam,
or other liquids.
• DO NOT use the device near flammable or explosive gas mixtures.
• NEVER reach for a device that has been submerged in water. Disconnect it from the electrical outlet
immediately.
• DO NOT use the device if it or its accessories are visibly damaged or if the unit has been dropped.

Only authorized personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject
users to considerable danger. For repairs, please contact Customer Service.
• DO NOT open the device.
• NEVER use underneath a cover such as a blanket, pillow, etc.
• NEVER use near gasoline or other highly flammable substances.
• Under no circumstances must liquid enter the fan unit.
• DO NOT use any solvent-based cleaning products.

• If you suffer from severe respiratory or lung disease, consult your doctor before using this device. This
device must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed and, in the manner, specified in
the instructions for use. Improper use can be dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
resulting from improper or careless use.
CAUTION – To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage:
• Route the power cable so that it does not pose a trip hazard.
• Place the device only on a firm, flat surface.
• Do not insert any objects into openings in the device. Ensure that moving parts can move freely at all
times.
• Do not place any objects on the device.

• Do not expose the device to high temperatures or direct sunlight.

The device must be switched off and disconnected from the mains after every use and before cleaning.

Intended Use
This air purifier is intended exclusively for cleaning the air indoors and for private use.
4� Introduction
People spend a considerable amount of time indoors. The air indoors is often polluted with dust particles,
pollen, animal hair, odors, harmful gases, and various bacteria and viruses. This air purifier cleans the ambi-
ent air using a multiple filter system. The LR 210 air cleaner:
• Filters air with an activated charcoal filter to remove harmful gases and unpleasant odors as well as one
other filter layer (incl. HEPA H13 filter) that remove particles such as bacteria, mites, pollen, and dust.
•
O perates quietly with three output levels.
•
H as a timer function (two, four, or eight hours).
•
H as a sleep mode.
•
I s suitable for rooms up to 165 sq ft. (15 m²) in size.
•
S afety shut-off when front cover is removed.
How It Works
1. The fan pulls in contaminated air.
2. The pre-filter filters out larger particles such as dust, dirt and hair.
3. The activated charcoal filter removes gases like formaldehyde and other poisonous gases and unpleas-
ant odors.
4. The HEPA filter then filters out small particles such as pollen and bacteria. The HEPA filter removes up to
99.95 % of particulates (e.g., bacteria and fine dust) passing through.
5. The cleaned air is emitted via the air outlet on top of the air cleaner into the ambient air.

6� To Set Up
1. After taking the device out of its packaging, remove the front cover to access the filter assembly and
remove it.
2. Remove the filter from assembly its plastic bag and place the assembly back into the air purifier in the
same orientation.
3. Place the Air Purifier onto a flat, level, stable, steady surface in a place where it cannot be easily knocked
over. Make sure the Air Purifier has at least one foot (~30 cm) of clearance on all sides and that the air
inlet and air vent are not blocked.
4. Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet. Route the power cord so that it does not pose a
trip hazard. When moving the Air Purifier, always carry it by the handle.

7� To Use
1. Power button : Press the Power Button to switch on the air purifier. When the device first starts, all
of the Control Panel LEDs will illuminate briefly. The air cleaner then switches to the lowest fan speed.
2.
Fan speed button : To change fan speed, press the Fan Speed buttons. The fan has three speed
settings, I (low), II (medium), and III (high).
3.
Sleep button : During Sleep Mode, all Control Panel LEDs are shut off after ten seconds for completely
dark operating and speed is reduced to level 1. Use the Sleep Button to turn the Sleep function on or
off. One press turns the Sleep Mode on. Two presses turns the Sleep function off.
4. Timer button : Use the Timer Button to activate the Timer function as desired. Press once to set a
two-hour timer, twice to set a four-hour timer, and three times to set an eight-hour timer. The correspond-
ing setting is indicated by the LEDs above the button. Press once more to shut the Timer function off
and enable continuous operation.
If the Filter Reset indicator above the Power Button flashes, you must replace the filter system; see the
“Care, maintenance and disposal” section for instructions.
8� Care, maintenance and disposal
Filter System Replacement
The multi-layered filter system assembly will need replacing after about 4,000 operating hours, at which time
the red “Filter” LED will flash above the Power Button.
Replacement filters are available from Customer Service. Please refer to section “Replacement parts” for
further information.
1. Press the Power Button to shut the air purifier off and disconnect the
power cord from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the front cover by pulling from the top to release its magnetic
clips and then lifting up to disengage the tabs from the slots on the bot-
tom.
3. Remove the filter assembly from the air purifier by pulling on the tab of the
filter.

4. Place the new filter assembly into the air purifier with the pre-filter facing
outwards.
5. Reattach the front cover.
6. Reconnect the power cord to an electrical outlet and press and hold the
Power Button for about five seconds to reset the Filter Change timer.
Cleaning
Clean the housing of the air purifier with a damp cloth and a mild detergent solution. Do not use any solvents,
alcohol or other aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as the surface may become damaged.
Storage
If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period, clean it and store it in the original packaging in
a dry environment away from direct sunlight.
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
9� Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
The air cleaner will not

13� Warranty
Limited Lifetime Warranty For Original Purchaser
Your Beurer Air Purifier, model LR 210, is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for
the life of the product under normal conditions of intended use and service. This warranty extends only to the
original retail purchaser and does not extend to retailers or subsequent owners. We will, at our option, repair
or replace the Beurer Air Purifier, model LR 210, without additional charge, for any part or parts covered by
these written warranties. No refunds will be given. Repair or replacement is our only responsibility and your
only remedy under this written warranty. If replacement parts for defective materials are not available, Beurer
reserves the right to make product substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement.
For warranty service contact our customer service department at 1-800-536-0366 or at [e-mail] to
provide a description of the problem. If the problem is deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime
warranty, you will be asked to mail the product at your costs in its original package with proof of purchase,
your name, address and phone number. If the problem is not deemed to be within the scope of the limited
lifetime warranty, we will provide a quotation for repair respectively replacement and return shipping fee.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of unauthor-
ized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; misapplication; lack of reasonable care with
respect to the product; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; old
worn batteries; normal wear; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part
as a result of failure to comply with instructions for use or to provide manufacturer’s recommended mainte-
nance; transit damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period
the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever
that are beyond the control of Beurer. This warranty is void if the product is ever used in a commercial or
business environment. The maximum liability of Beurer under this warranty is limited to the purchase price
actually paid by the customer for the product covered by the warranty, as confirmed by proof of purchase,
regardless of the amount of any other direct or indirect damage suffered by the customer.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product
is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adaptation to enable it to operate in any other country
than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products
damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty. THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN
SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY� ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR

Uso previsto
Este purificador de aire se ha diseñado exclusivamente para limpiar el aire en interiores y para uso personal.
4� Introducción
Las personas pasan una cantidad de tiempo considerable en el interior de edificios. El aire en los interiores
suele estar contaminado con partículas de polvo, polen, pelo de animales, olores, gases nocivos y diferen-
tes tipo de bacterias y virus. Este purificador de aire limpia el aire ambiental mediante un sistema de varios
filtros. El purificador de aire LR210:
•
filtra el aire por medio de un filtro de carbón activado para eliminar los gases nocivos y los olores desagra-
dables, y utiliza otra capa de filtro (un filtro HEPA H13) para eliminar partículas, como bacterias, ácaros,
polen y polvo;
•
f unciona silenciosamente con tres niveles de resultados;
•
t iene una función de temporizador (dos, cuatro u ocho horas);
•
t iene un modo de descanso;

Principio de funcionamiento
1. El ventilador succiona el aire contaminado.

desagradables.

6� Preparación
1. Después de sacar el dispositivo de su empaque, retire la tapa delantera para acceder al sistema de filtros
y extráigalo.
2.
Saque el sistema de filtros de la bolsa de plástico y vuelva a montarlo en el purificador de aire en la
orientación en que se encontraba.
3. Coloque el purificador de aire sobre una superficie plana, nivelada, estable y firme, en un lugar donde no
se pueda volcar fácilmente. Asegúrese de que, alrededor del purificador de aire, quede libre 1pie (aproxi-
madamente 30cm) por todos los lados y de que ni la entrada ni la salida de aire se encuentren obstruidas.
4. Conecte el cordón eléctrico a una toma de corriente estándar. Coloque el cordón eléctrico de forma que
no presente ningún riesgo de tropiezos. Al mover el purificador de aire, llévelo siempre por el asa.
7� Uso
1. Botón de encendido : mantenga presionado el botón de encendido para encender el purificador de
aire. Cuando se enciende el dispositivo, se iluminan brevemente todos los LED del panel de control.
A continuación, el purificador de aire comienza a funcionar con la velocidad de ventilación más baja.
2. Botón de velocidad del ventilador : presione este botón para cambiar la velocidad del ventilador. El
ventilador tiene tres velocidades: I (baja), II (media) y III (alta).
3. Botón de descanso : durante el modo de descanso, todos los LED del panel de control se apagan
después de diez segundos para que el purificador funcione en condiciones de oscuridad total y la
velocidad se reduce al nivel más bajo(I). Con el botón de descanso puede activar o desactivar la
función de descanso. Si lo presiona una vez, se activa el modo de descanso. Si lo presiona dos veces,
se desactiva esta función.
4.
Botón de temporizador : use el botón de temporizador para activar la función de temporizador con los
parámetros que prefiera. Presiónelo una vez para seleccionar un tiempo de dos horas en el temporizador,
dos veces para seleccionar cuatro horas y tres veces para seleccionar ocho horas. Los correspondientes
parámetros se indican con los LED que se encuentran encima del botón. Presione el botón una vez
más para desactivar la función de temporizador y permitir el funcionamiento continuo del dispositivo.
Si parpadea el indicador de restablecimiento del filtro que se encuentra encima del botón de encendido,
debe sustituir el sistema de filtros. Para esto, consulte las instrucciones de la sección “Cuidado, mante-
nimiento y desecho”.
8� Cuidado, mantenimiento y desecho
Sustitución del sistema de filtros
El sistema de filtros multicapa necesita cambiarse, aproximadamente, cada 4000horas de uso. En ese
momento, parpadeará el LED “Filter” (filtro) rojo que se encuentra sobre el botón de encendido.
En el servicio al cliente puede encontrar filtros de reemplazo. Para obtener más información, consulte la
sección “Partes de reemplazo”.
1. Presione el botón de encendido para apagar el purificador de aire y desen-
chufe el cordón eléctrico de la toma de corriente eléctrica.
2. Retire la tapa delantera. Para ello, jale la parte superior para liberar los cie-
rres magnéticos y levante la tapa para soltar las lengüetas de las ranuras
de la parte inferior.

3. Retire el sistema de filtros del purificador de aire jalando la lengüeta del
filtro.
4. Coloque el nuevo sistema de filtros en el purificador de aire con el prefiltro
hacia fuera.
5. Vuelva a colocar la tapa delantera.
6. Vuelva a enchufar el cordón eléctrico a una toma de corriente eléctrica y
mantenga presionado el botón de encendido durante unos cinco segun-
dos para restablecer el temporizador de cambio del filtro.
Limpieza
Limpie la carcasa del purificador de aire con un trapo húmedo y con una solución detergente suave. No use
disolventes, alcohol ni otros limpiadores agresivos o abrasivos, ya que podrían dañar la superficie.
Almacenamiento
Si no tiene intención de utilizar el dispositivo durante un tiempo largo, límpielo y guárdelo en su empaque
original en un ambiente seco y protegido de la luz solar directa.
Desecho
Respete las normas locales para el desecho de materiales. Deseche el dispositivo de acuerdo con las normas
locales. Si tiene alguna pregunta, consulte a las autoridades locales encargadas del desecho de residuos.
