Sicherheits-Abschleppstange
ACHTUNG
Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung und die enthaltenen Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam durch,
bevor Sie das Produkt verwenden.
Benutzen Sie das Produkt korrekt, mit Vorsicht und nur dem Verwendungszweck entsprechend.
Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitshinweise kann zu Schäden, Verletzungen und Erlöschen der
Gewährleistung führen.
Bewahren Sie diese Anleitungen für späteres Nachlesen an einem sicheren und trockenen Ort auf.

WICHTIG
Das Abschleppen darf nur mit zwei Personen erfolgen.
Der Insasse des abgeschleppten Wagens muss keinen Führerschein
besitzen – er muss lediglich 15 Jahre alt sein.
Auch wenn ein Führerschein nicht gesetzlich vorgeschrieben ist,
empfiehlt es sich, erfahrene Fahrer an beide Steuer zu setzen.
Auch existiert keine gesetzliche Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung
für das Gespann, doch die Fahrer sollten, um Unfälle zu vermeiden,
nicht schneller als 40 km/h fahren.
Ein leerer Tank stellt keine Notsituation dar und ist somit auch kein Grund
fürs Abschleppen.
VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Die Sicherheits-Abschleppstange dient zum Abschleppen von liegen gebliebenen Kraftfahrzeugen,
die über dafür geeignete Abschleppösen verfügen. Die etwa in der gleichen Höhe, vom Boden,
angebracht sein müssen.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Sichern Sie die Gefahrenstelle mit einem Warndreieck und ziehen Sie zur Eigensicherung
Warnwesten an.
Vor dem Anbringen der Abschleppstange sind beide Fahrzeuge gegen Wegrollen zu sichern.
Es könnte die Gefahr bestehen, zwischen den Fahrzeugen eingeklemmt zu werden.
Beachten Sie beim Abschleppen von Fahrzeugen die Verkehrsregeln des Landes, in dem Sie sich
befinden.
Durch den ausgeschalteten Motor funktionieren beim abzuschleppenden Fahrzeug Servolenkung und
Bremskraftverstärker nicht.
Lenken und Bremsen wird mit größerem Kraftaufwand betrieben werden müssen.
Die gezogene Anhängelast darf das zulässige Gesamtgewicht des ziehenden Fahrzeugs nicht
übersteigen.

HINWEISE FÜR DIE VERWENDUNG EINER ABSCHLEPPSTANGE
Eine Abschleppstange bietet viel mehr Sicherheit als ein Abschleppseil.
Da der Abstand zwischen beiden Kfz durch eine starre Verbindung festgelegt ist, verhindert dies eher
einen Auffahrunfall.
§ 15a der StVO regelt die Vorschriften zum korrekten Abschleppvorgang.
Das Abschleppen auf der Autobahn ist nur kurzfristig gestattet: Bleibt Ihr Fahrzeug darauf liegen, darf
es bis zur nächsten Ausfahrt abgeschleppt werden.
Beachten Sie diese Vorschrift nicht, wird ein Bußgeld fällig.
Zudem hält die StVO fest, dass beide Autos die Warnblinkanlange einschalten müssen.
Beim Abschleppen bitte grundsätzlich das Lenkschloss entriegeln bzw. die Zündung eingeschaltet
lassen und niemals den Schlüssel abziehen.
Mit einem abschleppenden Fahrzeug dürfen Sie nicht auf eine Autobahn auffahren.
Da das Abschleppen nur im Notfall erlaubt ist, sollte das Pannenfahrzeug nur bis zur nächsten
Werkstatt geschleppt werden.
Das Abschleppen von Fahrzeugen mit defekter Bremsanlage ist nicht zulässig.
Zwischen den beiden Fahrzeugen müssen die Sichtverhältnisse so sein, dass die Rück- und
Bremsleuchten des Zugfahrzeugs aus dem geschleppten Fahrzeug heraus beobachtet werden
können.
Die Anfahr- und Abbremsvorgänge sind mit der nötigen Vorsicht durchzuführen, da die Zugstange
und die Abschleppösen nicht in der Lage sind, bei einer Bremsung auftretende Kräfte sicher
aufzunehmen.
Betroffene sollten im Bedienhandbuch Ihres Fahrzeugs nachlesen, an welchen Stellen die
Abschleppvorrichtungen befestigt werden sollen.
Oft befindet sich am Auto nur noch ein Gewinde hinter einer Schutzkappe, in welches eine mobile
Öse eingeschraubt wird.
Diese muss demnach auch mitgeführt werden und auffindbar sein.
Beim Automatikgetriebe, auch DSG, muss der Gang auf Nstehen, um eine Überhitzung beim
Abschleppen zu vermeiden.
Generell aber sollte ein Automatikauto, das abgeschleppt werden soll, eine Trennung der Verbindung
zwischen Getriebe und Antriebsachse ermöglichen.
In Zweifelsfall ist es wichtig, auf entsprechende Herstellerhinweise zu achten.
Ein Elektroauto gefahrlos abzuschleppen, funktioniert nur bedingt, denn mindestens über eine Achse
wird immer Energie im Elektromotor erzeugt.
Wenn die Energie ohne aktiviertes Bordsystem fließt, kann es zu Schäden an der
Steuerungselektronik kommen.

VERWENDUNG
Die Hakenseiten von oben nach unten in die
Schleppösen einführen, das MitteIrohr
montieren und mit den Spannbolzen von oben
nach unten verstiften. Die fertig montierte
Schleppstange dann auf Zug bringen und durch
Verschiebung der innengelagerten
Puffertragrohre die Halter schließen und hinter
dem Puffertragrohr auf engste Stellung
Verstiften.
Die Abschleppstange muss während der Fahrt
gerade, d.h. in Richtung der Fahrzeugachsen
verlaufen, eventuell ist ein seitlich versetztes
Fahren notwendig, wenn die Ösen seitlich
versetzt angebracht sind.
Bei Kurvenfahrten muss das abschleppende
Fahrzeug dem schleppenden Fahrzeug in der
Spur folgen.
UMWELTSCHUTZ
Recyceln Sie unerwünschte Stoffe, anstatt sie als Abfall zu entsorgen. Alle Werkzeuge,
Zubehörteile und Verpackungen sind zu sortieren, einer Wertstoffsammelstelle zuzuführen und
umweltgerecht zu entsorgen. Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrer örtlichen Abfallbehörde über
Recyclingmaßnahmen.

Safety tow bar
ATTENTION
Read the operation manual and the safety instructions included therein carefully before using the
product.
Use the product correctly, with caution and only in accordance with its intended use.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in damage, injury and to the warranty being
cancelled.
Keep these instructions in a safe and dry place for future reference.
Enclose the operating instructions if you pass the product on to third parties.
IMPORTANT
Towing may only be carried out by two persons.
The occupant of the car being towed does not need to have a driving licence
-they only need to be 15 years old.
Even if a driving licence is not required by law,
it is advisable to put experienced drivers behind the wheel of both.
There is also no legal speed limit for the vehicle being towed,
but drivers should not drive faster than 40 km/h to avoid accidents.
An empty tank does not represent an emergency situation and is therefore not a
reason for towing.
INTENDED USE
The safety tow bar is used for towing broken-down motor vehicles that have suitable towing eyes.
These must be fitted at approximately the same height from the ground.
SAFETY NOTES
Secure the danger area with a warning triangle and put on high-visibility waistcoats for your own
safety.
Before attaching the tow bar, secure both vehicles against rolling away.
There could be a risk of being trapped between the vehicles.
When towing vehicles, observe the road traffic regulations of the country you are in.
Because the engine is switched off, the power steering and brake booster do not work on the vehicle
to be towed.
You will need a lot more effort for steering and braking.
The trailer load being towed must not exceed the permissible total weight of the vehicle towing.

NOTICE FOR USING A TOW BAR
A tow bar offers much more safety than a tow rope.
As the distance between the two vehicles is fixed by a rigid connection, this is more likely to prevent a
rear-end collision.
Section 15a of the German StVO regulates the rules for correct towing.
Towing on the motorway is only permitted for a short time: if your vehicle breaks down here, it may
only be towed until the next exit.
If you do not observe this regulation, you will receive a fine.
In addition, the Highway Code states that both cars must switch on the hazard warning lights.
When towing, always unlock the steering lock or leave the ignition on and never remove the key.
When towing a vehicle, you are not allowed to drive onto a motorway.
Since towing is only permitted in an emergency, the broken-down vehicle should only be towed to the
nearest workshop.
Towing vehicles with defective brake systems is not permitted.
The visibility between the two vehicles must be such that the rear and brake lights of the towing
vehicle can be observed from the vehicle being towed.
The starting and braking procedures must be carried out with the necessary caution, as the pull bar
and the towing eyes are not capable of safely absorbing forces that occur during braking.
Affected persons should refer to the operating manual of their vehicle to find out where the towing
equipment should be attached.
Frequently there is only a thread on the car behind a protective cap into which a mobile eyelet is
screwed.

USE
Insert the hook sides into the towing eyes from
top to bottom, mount the centre tube and pin it
with the tension bolts from the top to the bottom.
Then tension the finished tow bar and close the
holders by moving the internally mounted buffer
support tubes and pin them in the tightest
position behind the buffer support tube.
The tow bar must run straight, thus in the
direction of the vehicle axles, while driving. It
may be necessary to move the tow bar
sideways if the eyelets are mounted offset to
the side.
When driving through corners, the vehicle being
towed must follow the towing vehicle in its track.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle undesired materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and
packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner. Check with your local waste disposal authority about recycling measures.

Barre de remorquage de sécurité

IMPORTANT

Un réservoir d'essence vide n’est pas une situation d’urgence et ne justifie donc pas le
remorquage.
UTILISATION PRÉVUE
La barre de remorquage de sécurité sert à tracter des véhicules motorisés tombés en panne et
équipés d'œillets de remorquage adaptés. Les œillets doivent être apposés à une hauteur égale du
sol à peu près.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Veuillez sécuriser le lieu de danger au moyen d’un triangle de signalisation et mettez des gilets de
signalisation pour votre sécurité personnelle.
Immobilisez les deux véhicules avant de placer la barre de remorquage.

INFORMATIONS concernant l’utilisation d’une barre de remorquage
Une barre de remorquage offre beaucoup plus de sécurité qu’un câble de remorquage.

remorqué jusqu’à l’atelier le plus proche uniquement.

UTILISATION
Introduire les côtés des crochets de haut en bas
dans les œillets de remorquage, monter le tube
central et les fixer par les boulons de serrage de

remorquage montée, fermer les supports en
déplaçant les tubes porteurs intermédiaires à
l’intérieur et placer les goupilles derrière le tube

serrée.
La barre de remorquage doit être orientée en
position droite durant la course, c'est à dire,
dans le sens des essieux des véhicules, et si
les œillets sont décalés sur le côté, il sera
éventuellement nécessaire d’adapter la
direction des véhicules.
Dans les virages, le véhicule tracté doit suivre
les traces du véhicule tracteur.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT
Recyclez les matières indésirables au lieu de les jeter comme déchets. Tous les outils,

Barra de remolque de seguridad
ATENCIÓN

IMPORTANTE

INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL USO DE LA BARRA DE REMOLQUE
Una barra de remolque ofrece mucha más seguridad que una cuerda de remolque.

barra de tracción y las argollas de remolque no son capaces de absorber con seguridad las fuerzas
que pueden producirse durante el frenado.
Las personas afectadas deben consultar el manual de instrucciones de su vehículo para saber dónde
deben fijarse los dispositivos de remolque.
A menudo solo hay una rosca detrás de una tapa protectora en el coche en la que se enrosca un ojal
móvil.
Por lo tanto, éste también debe ser llevado y localizado.
En las transmisiones automáticas, también el DSG, la marcha debe estar en Npara evitar el

APLICACIÓN

seguir al vehículo de remolque en el carril.
