0Before Installation
A. Area to be covered by mask must be clean. It is recommended that you wash and wax vehicle prior to installation.
B. Both vehicle and mask must be completely dry prior to installation. If moisture under mask is allowed to dry on
vehicle, paint may cloud.
C. Any repainted surfaces in contact with mask must be allowed to cure completely. Consult paint manufacturer or
repair facility if you are not sure.
D. The use of a fiber stick may be required while inserting pads.
1Install Hood Cover
A. With hood open, stretch hood cover (A)
onto hood, pulling each side one or two
inches at a time, until corners fit snugly.
Install hooks on ends of straps (B)
into corresponding holes on underside
of hood. Pull evenly on ends of
adjustable straps (B) until tight. Secure
loose ends in elastic loops.

2Remove wheel well fasteners
A. Using stubby phillips screwdriver, remove plastic
fasteners and screws along front edge of both front
wheel wells that correspond to snaps on mask. A. In both front wheel wells, using a stubby phillips
screwdriver, install wellnuts (C), washers (D) and index
snap head screws (E) into 4 holes as shown.
B. In both front wheel wells, using a stubby phillips
screwdriver, install washer (D) and #8 snap head screw
(F) into hole at fender seam.

Install Upper Headlight Pads
A. Lay mask (G) over front of vehicle, Starting on the drivers
side, slide upper headlight pad (H) under fender tip.
4Install Fender Tip Pockets
A. Continue sliding upper headlight pad (H) between fender
and headlight. Install pocket (I) under fender tip.
B. Repeats steps 4 and 5 on the passengers side.

8Install grill attachments
A. Insert 3 pads (N) between grill and
bumper..
B. Feed velcro loops (P) through small
openings in grill. With velcro loops
fed down behind bumper, attach to
velcro hook (Q) located at underside
edge of bumper facia.
Install headlight attachments
A. On driver’s side of vehicle, Attach clip (K) to metal edge
of fender rail.
B. Attach clip (L) to edge of upper radiator support.
C. Insert 3 pads (M) into slots in between headlights and
bumper.
D. Repeat step 7 on the passenger’s side.
Install wheel well attachments
A. Press snaps (J) onto snap head screws (E) and (F) in both
front wheel wells.

12 Care and Cleaning
A. Always remove mask before washing vehicle.
B. Hand clean mask using mild soap, rinse thoroughly with
clean water and line dry completely. Do not machine dry!
C. Use Mazda Vinyl/Leather Protectant (or equivalent) to
preserve color and finish.
D. WARNING: Running up on curb will damage this product.
Manufacturer will not be responsible for damage to product
due to accident or misuse.
11 Post Installation Inspection
A. Close hood and check alignment between hood cover
and front end cover along seam (between fender and
hood). If adjustment is necessary, adjust the hood cover
by adjusting the hood cover straps. Refer to step 1.
B. If mask should flap due to high speed or wind conditions,
adjust or remove mask completely.
C. Provide installation instructions to final customer.
9Install vent attachments
A. On both sides of vehicle, insert pad (R) between fog
light mounting bracket and bumper.
B. Attach plastic clips (S) to rear edge of fog light vents.

10 Install lower clips
A. On both sides of the vehicle attach plastic clips (T) to
bottom edge of bumper.
