This Us r’s Instructions Manual is an int gral part of th Motorcycl Lift.
H r aft r, th simpl word “MANUAL” shall m an th Us r’s Instructions
Manual.
Th aim of this publication is to supply T chnicians with saf and cl ar
instructions on th installation, th us , th maint nanc and th
dismantl m nt of th Lift.
This Manual must b car fully r ad b for us and sav d for futur r f r nc .
Installation, us , maint nanc and dismantl m nt oth r than what is
d scrib d h r in is th Us r’s compl t r sponsibility and r li v s th
Manufactur r of all r sponsibility.
In accordanc with Dir ctiv no. 98/37/CE and its subs qu nt modifications

6.3 AIM
This Motorcycl Lift has b n d sign d to s rvic , r pair or display
motorcycl s.

CAUTION: Rais ONLY motorcycl s quipp d with c ntr stand or
support d by normal paddock stands that hold th bik upright.
NEVER rais motorcycl s with sid stand.
6.4 WORKING AREA
Th working ar a must b prop rly light n d, it must not b xpos d to
dang r of xplosion, risk of fir or pr cipitation.
Th Lift will work prop rly if a high valu is s t on th following stat m nts:
- Room t mp ratur b tw n 5° and 40° C;
- Humidity b tw n 30% and 90% without cond nsation;
- STORAGE: always stor th lift indoors and do not xpos it to th
w ath r.
6.5 NOISE
Th Lift and th working ar a hav b n t st d at th distanc of about 1 m
and at th h ight of about 1,6 m from th ground, during normal us .
Th surv y has b n carri d out with a sound l v l m tr that compli s with
Rul IEC 651, Part 1. Th l v l of th acoustic pr ssur is 60 dB.

7. DESCRIPTION OF THE MOTORCYCLE LIFT
Basic compon nts of th Lift (s Figur 1):
(1) Broad tabl top surfac ;
(2) Bas (it can b anchor d to th ground);
(3) Lifting scissor-syst m mad of two l gs in th X shap ;
(4) Hydraulic cylind r (s t in motion by a foot, air or l ctric pump);
(5) Moving anchor bar with automatic prim r (it pr v nts accid ntal
low ring of th tabl top);
(6) Saf ty d vic syst m mad of two tooth d rails, firmly w ld d to th
bas of th lift.

To allow a saf r anchorag of th motorcycl to th Lift, a wh l clamp
(option) can b plac d on th front sid of th tabl top.
Th Lift com s suppli d with a saf ty bar (8) that can b fix d to th front sid
of th tabl top and with a run-up ramp (9) that allows to load th motorcycl
asily.
Th tabl top is provid d with op nings that allow to fast n th motorcycl to
th tabl top with b lts.
Th whol structur is mad of FE510 and structural plat s or pip s; all th
pins ar mad of C40 st l.
It is powd r coat d with poxy-poly st r powd r.
7.1 SAFETY DEVICES
This Lift com s suppli d with all th m chanical and hydraulic saf ty d vic s
r quir d.
In d tail (s Figur 1):
- M chanical saf ty bar (5) sp cifically d sign d to stop th Lift at th
most appropriat working h ight. Th strok of th saf ty bar is limit d
by saf ty locking choic s (6) firmly w ld d to th bas of th Lift. Th
saf ty locking choic s ar position d at th following h ights: 56 cm, 67
cm, 76 cm, 84 cm and 95 cm.
- Fall-proof valv (7), built-in th cylind r (4), pr v nts th Lift from
low ring, in cas of hydraulic circuit br akdown.
- Front saf ty bar (8).
- Op nings sp cifically d sign d to run b lts through and to allow asy
fast ning of th motorcycl to th tabl top.
- R li f valv built-in th foot pump, th hydro-pn umatic or th l ctro-
hydraulic unit.

7.2 STANDARD ACCESSORIES

8. TRANSPORTING, DISPLACEMENT AND STORAGE PROCEDURES
CAUTION: To nsur saf transporting and prop r displac m nt proc dur s,
pay sp cial att ntion to th instructions b low.
For saf ty r asons, always fast n th movabl parts wh n transporting th
Lift.
8.1 PACKING AND TRANSPORTING
Th Lift is pack d up by th Manufactur r to allow asy and quick
transporting.
Th Lift is pack d in a millboard crat with two wood n plat s (10cm high)
which ar fast n d to th low st part of th Lift with scr ws.
Th packing includ s not only th Motorcycl Lift, but also th run-up ramp
(9) and th front saf ty bar (8).
No mor than 5 crat s ar normally stack d on a wood n pall t. All crat s
ar fast n d with m tal or plastic straps.
Th Motorcycl Lift is always shipp d compl t with its standard acc ssori s
and in p rf ct condition.
8.2 UNLOADING AND DISPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
Loading and unloading proc dur s must b carri d out according to th
saf ty laws in forc .
Th crat s mad of millboard and wood must b displac d using a fork-lift.
Th forks must b position d und r th millboard crat b tw n on wood
and th oth r.

Unloading and displac m nt proc dur s should b carri d out by on singl
T chnician w aring gauntl ts, accid nt pr v ntion sho s and a prot ctiv
h lm t, according to th saf ty laws in forc .
Maximum car must b tak n with all th s proc dur s.
CAUTION: N v r paus in th fork-lift op rating ar a. Th accid nt fall of th
crat s might b dang rous and might xpos p opl to grav risks.
During unloading proc dur s, tak maximum car with all pot ntial traffic.
N v r us th fork-lift on un v n or xc ssiv ly sloping surfac s.
Always proc d slowly with th fork-lift.
Unloading th millboard crat containing th Motorcycl Lift from th wood n
pall t must b carri d out by at l ast four p opl w aring gauntl ts.
This proc dur must b always carri d out n ar th ar a wh r th
Motorcycl Lift will b install d.
8.3 RECEIPT AND INSPECTION
Damag or d t rioration of th goods may aris from transporting v n
though th Lifts ar pack d with th most suitabl wrapping mat rial by
skill d T chnicians only.
On r c ipt of th goods, always ch ck th packing.
Should it b s riously damag d, coll ct th goods with th du r s rvation.
Also, n v r forg t to tak pictur s of th damag .

8.4 STORAGE
B for b ing unpack d and install d, th Motorcycl Lift must b stor d in a
prop r plac to avoid any und sir d op ration.
Stor th Motorcycl Lift indoors and do not xpos it to th w ath r.
To allow saf storag , do not unpack th Lift. Always plac wood n plat s
und r th Lift.
Room t mp ratur and humidity: – 5° / 75°
R lativ humidity: b tw n 30% and 90%
N v r turn th crat upsid down.
Should th Motorcycl Lift b stor d without its own packing, plac it on
wood n plat s firmly and wrap it in a pi c of cloth.
Do not stack anything on th Motorcycl Lift.

9. INSTALLATION
Installation must b carri d out according to th saf ty laws in forc and th
instructions h r in contain d.
9.1 SETTING UP
CAUTION: N v r forg t to unscr w th wood n plat s from th Lift, b for
us .
No foundations ar n d d.
Always plac th Lift on a plan surfac . Th surfac must b abl to carry a
minimum w ight of 500 kg / m².
Th Motorcycl Lift must b plac d in th prop r position to allow T chnicians
to work asily and saf ly.
K p th Motorcycl Lift at th minimum saf ty distanc from walls or oth r
quipm nt during op ration.
Th run-up ramp must allows to load th bik asily.
N v r plac th run-up ramp n ar things that might int rf r with normal
loading or unloading of th bik .
CAUTION: N v r plac th Lift on un v n or sloping surfac s.
Always tak th Motorcycl Lift to th s tting-up ar a by using a fork-lift.
