KURULUS
HA 9888(38) Serileri PBX sisteminin arkasinda ve otel kullanimi icin
tasarlanmistir. One telefonun baglanacagi duvar fisini tesbit edin. Yok ise buyuk
alisveris magazalarinda, bu tur fisleri tedarik eden buyuk nalbur tipi alisveris
merkezlerinde kolaylikla bulunabilir.
1) HA 9888(38) telefonun sol tarafinda moduler bir fis bulunmaktadir. Dongusel
ahize kablosunun bir ucunu bu fise yerlestirin (duzgun yerlestirildiginde “klik”
seklinde bir kablo baglanti sesi duyacaksiniz.)
2) Dongusel ahize kablosunun diger ucunu da ahizede bulunan fise yerlestirin.
3) Telefonu alt yuzu size bakacak sekilde ters cevirin. Duz baglanti kablosunun
her hangi bir ucunu da “TO TEL” yazan fise yerlestirin.
4) Ayni kablonun diger ucunu da duvar telefon prizine takin.
5) Telefon baglantisi yapildiktan sonra, on yuzey baski kartonu, setin uzerine
tuslara gececek sekilde yerlestirin. Daha sonra uzerine gelecek plastik on yuzey
koruma kapagini on yuzey baski kartonunun uzerine gelecek sekilde, once sag ve
sol disleri, setin yerlestirme oyuklarina gelecek sekilde sokun. Plastigi ortadan
bukerek diger (sag veya sol) disleri kolayca yerlestirebilirsiniz.

AHIZE VE HOPERLOR SESINI AYARLAMAK
Ahize ses tusu ses ayarininin [VOL], uc seviyesi vardir. Ahize ilk olarak
kaldirildiginda, ses seviyesi normal konumdadir. Tusa bir defa basildiginda, seviye
bir adim yukselecektir (orta siddet ayari). Tusa bir defa daha basildiginda, seviye
bir adim daha yukselecektir (yuksek ayar). Seviyeyi tekrar normal konuma
getirmek icin, ahize ses ayar tusuna bir kez daha basin.
Bu ayari yapmak icin, setin sag tarafindaki anahtari kaydirin.

Bu islemi yapabilmek icin, telefon hatta takili olmalidir.

İstediginiz numarayi, [PAUSE] ve [FLASH] gerektiginde bu tuslarda dahil

the telephone network, the Telephone Company may request that you remove
the equipment from the network until the problem is resolved. The customer can
do the following repairs: replacement of cords or handset; replacement of window
for telephone number.
This telephone cannot be used on Telephone Company provided coin service.
Connection to Party Line Service is subject to state tariffs.

The Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) assigned to each terminal device
provides an indication of the maximum number of terminals allowed to be
connected to a telephone interface. The termination on an interface may consist
of any combination of devices subject only to the requirement that the sum of the
Ringer Equivalence Numbers of all the devices does not exceed 5.

UNPACKING YOUR PHONE
This package should contain the following:
•HA 9888(38) base unit
•Faceplates
•Handset
•Coiled handset cord
•Straight line cord
•This manual
INSTALLATION
The HA 9888(38) Series is designed for hotel applications and behind a
registered PBX system in hotel. Determine you have the correct modular jack for
connecting the telephone. If you do not have a modular jack, one may be
obtained at minimal cost at a local hardware store, discount store or home center.
1) Located on the left side of the HA 9888(38) phone is a modular jack. Insert one
end of the coiled handset cord into this jack (you will hear the coil cord click when
properly inserted.)
2) Insert the other end of the coiled handset cord into the modular jack on the
handset.
3) Turn the telephone so the back panel is facing you. Insert either end of the line
cord into the jack on the back of the telephone labeled “TO TEL”.
4) Insert the other end of the line cord into a telephone wall jack.
5) Once your telephone is connected, place the paper faceplate over the keys.
The plastic overlay slips into place by hooking the tabs on the overlay into the
recessed slots located on both sides. The overlay is easiest to insert when the left
or right side tabs are inserted first, and the middle of the overlay is slightly bowed
to allow for insertion of the other tabs.

13. [PAUSE] Key* -- Hidden key inserts a 3.6 second pause
in stored numbers.
14. [STORE] Key* -- Hidden key for storing numbers
to Memory keys.
15. Memory Keys*-- Programmable for one touch dialing of
frequently
used numbers or to add special features.
16. Dial Keys -- Keypad for dialing numbers.

PLACING A CALL
Using the Handset
– Lift the handset.
2) The HA 9888(38) telephone will select the appropriate idle line.
(models (38)TSD/T10/T9/T8/T7/T6/T5/T4/T3/T2/TP only)
3) Listen for dial tone. Dial the desired number, or press [REDIAL] key to
automatically dial a number.
4) To end the call, hang up by replacing the handset.
Using the Speakerphone
16. Press the [SPKR] key and the phone will select a free line.
The telephone will go off hook on the selected line with speakerphone
active.
NOTE: The red SPKR LED will indicate that the speakerphone is active.
17. Wait for a dial tone.
18. Dial a phone number.
19. Press [SPKR] key when finished.
RECEIVING A CALL
Using the Handset
When the phone rings, the corresponding line’s indicator flashes rapidly.
3) Pick up the handset.
4) To end the call, hang up by replacing the handset.
Using the speaker phone.
When the phone rings, the corresponding line’s indicator flashes rapidly.
3) Press the [SPKR] key.
4) Press [SPKR] when finished.
SPEAKERPHONE TIPS
To activate the handset from speakerphone mode:
