READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING THISLIGHT.
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire
and/or seriousinjury.
WARNING: Do not attempt to modify or repair thelight.
WARNING: Do not charge the battery at ambient
temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C. Follow all
charging instructions and do not charge the battery
outside of the temperature range specified in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures
outside of the specified range may damage the battery
and increase risk offire.
CAUTION: Do not put any magnets near the ON/OFF
switch. The light could be turned on by a strong magnet
near the area light’sswitch.
WARNING: Keep clear of magnets. Magnetic hazard can
disturb pacemaker operation and result in serious injury
ordeath.
• Shock Hazard. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do
not put charging base in water or otherliquid.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used by or nearchildren.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only
manufacturer’s recommendedattachments.
• Do not use if damaged. If light is not working as it should,
has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water, return it
to a servicecenter.
• Do not incinerate the light even if it is severely damaged.
The batteries can explode in afire.
• Do not pull or carry by charging cord, use charging
cord as a handle, close a door on charging cord, or pull
charging cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep
charging cord away from heatedsurfaces.
• Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or
counter or touch hot surfaces. The unit should be placed or
mounted away from sinks and hotsurfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not thecord.
• Do not handle charging cord, including charger plug
with wethands.
• Plug the charger directly into an electricaloutlet.
• Only charge the battery with the provided charge lead
and a suitable class 2 power supply.
• Unplug the charger from outlet before any routine
cleaning ormaintenance.
• Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme

Charging Procedure (Fig.B)
IMPORTANT: The battery in your light is not fully charged at
the factory. Before attempting to charge the light, thoroughly
read all of the safety instructions.
• Open the rubber seal 5 to expose the charging port 6 .
• Align the charging cable 7 with the charging port in back
of the light and insert it.
• Plug the charger into wall charger or a port of a charging
device (such as laptop).
• The charging LED 1 will be red while the battery is
charging. The charging LED will turn green when fully
charged.
• The light is not packaged with a full battery charge. Let the
light charge initially for up to 4 hours.
BATTERIES
The product is not fully charged out of the carton. Before using
the product, read the safety instructions below and then follow
the charging proceduresoutlined.
NOTE: If the product is unused for approximately 90 days, fully
charge the battery to help prolong the life of the battery.

Your cordless LED Snake Light® has been designed for
lightingapplications. This unit is for indoor use only
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in the presence of
flammable liquids orgases.

a ) This light is intended for residentialuse.
b ) Recharge only with provided cable and suitable
charger. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
pack may create a risk of fire when used with another
batterypack.
c ) Do not use a battery or light that is damaged or
modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk
ofinjury.
d ) Do not expose a battery to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above
130°C may causeexplosion.
e ) Have servicing performed by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the product ismaintained.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Rechargeable Battery
This long life battery must be recharged when it fails to produce
sufficient power on jobs which were easily done before.
At the end of its technical life, discard it with due care for
ourenvironment:
• Run the battery downcompletely.
• Li‑Ion cells are recyclable. Take them to your dealer or a local
recycling station. The collected products will be recycled or
disposed ofproperly.
Accessories
There are no accessories for this product.
WARNING: Since accessories, other than those offered
by BLACK+DECKER, have not been tested with this
product, use of such accessories with this product could
be hazardous.
Cleaning
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals
for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the lamp. These
chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts.
Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap.
Never let any liquid get inside the lamp; never immerse any
part of the lamp into aliquid.
NOTE: This product contains long‑life Light Emitting Diode
bulbs (LED). These LED bulbs are not replaceable. When the LED
bulbs reach the end of life, the work light should be recycled or
disposed of through available channels for electrical waste and
electronicequipment.
MAINTENANCE
Your BLACK+DECKERproduct has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper care
and regularcleaning.
On/Off Button (Fig. C)
1. To turn on the directional light module 4 , press the power
button 1 .
2. To turn the flood light on, press the power button a second
time. The direction light will turn off.
-To change the flood light intensity, press and hold the
power button – after 3 seconds, the light intensity will
change. The flood light will blink once to indicate the
light has reached maximum or minimum intensity. To
reverse intensity release button and then press again
and hold.
3. To turn it off, press the power button a third time.
4. NOTE: If the directional light has been on for more than 5
seconds, pressing the power button will turn the light off.
NOTE: At low battery, the flood light will flash 3‑5 times every
3‑5minutes .This indicates that the light should be recharged as
soon as possible.
OPERATION
CAUTION: Do not stare into the LEDs. Serious eye
injury couldresult.
NOTE: Recharge discharged batteries as soon as possible after
use or battery life may be greatly diminished. for longest battery
life, do not discharge batteries fully. It is recommended that the
batteries be recharged after each use.
WARNING: Fire hazard. When disconnecting the charger
from the light, be sure to unplug the charger from the
outlet first, then disconnect the charger cord from the light.
Important Charging Notes
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of damage to the batteries,
NEVER charge them in an air temperature below 40°F
(4,5°C) or above 105°F (40,5°C). Also, NEVER charge them
if the battery temperature is below 40°F (4,5°C) or above
105°F (40,5°C). Longest life and best performance occurs
when batteries are charged with an air temperature of
approximately 75°F (24°C).
1. While charging, the charger may hum and become warm
to touch. This is a normal condition and does not indicate a
problem.
2. The light should be recharged when it fails to produce sufficient
light while being used. Battery life may be greatly diminished
if batteries are discharged deeply. DO NOT CONTINUE using
product with its batteries in a depleted condition. Recharge
discharged batteries promptly.
3. To maximize battery life:
a. Do not fully discharge batteries.
b. Fully recharge batteries after each use.
c. Store light in a location where the surrounding air
temperature is approximately 40°F ‑ 75°F (4.5°C ‑ 24°C).
d. ALWAYS disconnect charger from light after charge
is complete.



1. 작은 조명 모듈 4 을 켜려면 전원 버튼 1 을 누르십시오.
2. 큰 조명 모듈을 켜려면 전원 버튼을 두 번 누릅니다. 작은
조명은 꺼집니다.
-큰 조명 강도를 변경하려면 전원 버튼을 길게 누릅니다. 3초
후에 조명 강도가 변경됩니다. 큰 조명은 라이트가 최대 또는
최소 강도에 도달했음을 나타내기 위해 한 번 깜박입니다.
강도 해제 버튼을 되돌린 다음 다시 길게 누릅니다.
