Safety Notes
Safety Warnings for Cordless Worklights
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or seri-
ous injury.
Please read and observe all safety warnings and instructions enclosed with
the battery or the power tool with which the battery was provided.
Handle the cordless worklight with care. The cordless worklight generates in-
tense heat, which leads to increased danger of fire and explosion.
Do not work with the cordless worklight in hazardous areas.
After the automatic shut-off of the cordless worklight, do not continue to
press the On/Off button. The battery could become damaged.
Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the
light beam yourself (not even from a distance).
Use only original Bosch accessories.
Do not cover the lamp head while operating the cordless worklight. The lamp
head heats up during operation and can cause burns when the heat accumulates.
Do not use the cordless worklight in road traffic. The cordless worklight is not
approved for illumination in road traffic.
Before any work on the cordless worklight itself (e.g. assembling, mainte-
nance, etc.), as well as when transporting and storing, remove the battery
from the cordless worklight.
Do not allow children to use the cordless worklight. It is intended for profes-
sional use. Children can unintentionally blind themselves or other persons.
Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.
Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against continuous intense
sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of explosion.
When battery pack is notin use, keep it away from other metal objectslike pa-
per clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can
makeaconnectionfromoneterminal toanother.Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid con-
tact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irrita-
tions or burns.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted.
Ventilate the area and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapours
can irritate the respiratory system.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that
is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with an-
other battery pack.
Use the battery only in conjunction with your Bosch product. This measure
alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.
The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers
or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit can occur and the battery
can burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

The cordless worklight is intended for mobile illumination in limited space and for lim-
ited time in dry indoor and outdoor areas and is not suitable for general room lighting.

Assembly
Battery Charging (Accessory)
Note: The battery supplied is partially charged. To ensure full capacity of the battery,
completely charge the battery inthe battery charger before using your power tool for
the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. In-
terrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the “Electronic Cell
Protection (ECP)”. When the battery is empty, the cordless worklight is switched off
by means of a protective circuit.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the cordless worklight has
been automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged.
To remove the battery 5, press the unlocking button 4and pull the battery out of the
cordless worklight. Do not exert any force.
Observe the notes fordisposal.

Operation
Initial Operation
Inserting the battery
Insert the charged battery 5into the battery port until it can be felt to engage and is
seated flush.
Switching On and Off
To start the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch 2.
To switch off the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch 2again.
To save energy, only switch the cordless worklight on when using it.
Working Advice
Utility Hook (see figure A)
You can use the utility hook 3to attach the cordless worklight to an object.
Aligning the Cordless Worklight (see figure B)
The cordless worklight can be used standing up, hanging or lying down. Its hexagonal
shape enables the light to be aligned according to its use.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
When the battery is no longer operative, please refer to an authorised after-sales ser-
vice agent for Bosch power tools.
Thecordlessworklight ismaintenance-free andcontains nocomponentsthat mustbe
replaced or maintained.
The light source cannot be replaced. If the light source is defective, the entire cord-
less worklight has to be replaced.
To avoid damage, clean the plastic lens of the cordless worklight only with a dry, soft
cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or solvent.

Transport
The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislation
requirements. The user can transport the batteries by road without further require-
ments.
When being transported by third parties (e.g.: air transport or forwarding agency),
special requirements on packaging and labelling must be observed. For preparation
of the item being shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is required.
Dispatch batteries only when the housing is undamaged. Tape or mask off open con-
tacts and pack upthe battery in such a manner that it cannot move around in the pack-
aging.
Please also observe possibly more detailed national regulations.
Disposal
Cordless worklights, battery packs, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of cordless worklights and batteries/rechargeable batteries into
household waste!
Only for EC countries:
According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste Elec-
trical and Electronic Equipment, cordless worklights that are no
longer usable, and according to the European Guideline
2006/66/EC, defective or used battery packs/batteries, must be
collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct
manner.

Manier avec précaution la lampe sur batterie. La lampe sur batterie génère des
températures élevées qui constituent un danger élevé d’incendie et d’explosion.
Ne pas utiliser la lampe sur batterie dans un environnement présentant des
risques d’explosion.
Après la mise hors fonctionnement automatique de la lampe sur batterie, ne
plus appuyer sur l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt. L’accu peut être endommagé.
Ne pas diriger le faisceau lumineux vers des personnes ou des animaux et ne
jamais regarder dans le faisceau lumineux, même si vous êtes à grande dis-
tance de ce dernier.
N’utiliser que des accessoires d’origine Bosch.
Ne pas recouvrir la tête de la lampe lors de la mise en service de la lampe sur
batterie. La tête de lampe chauffe pendant son utilisation et peut entraîner des
brûlures si cette chaleur s’accumule.
Ne pas utiliser la lampe sur batterie en circulation routière. La lampe sur batte-
rie n’est pas agréée pour l’éclairage en circulation routière.
Retirer l’accu de la lampe avant d’effectuer des travaux sur la lampe sur bat-
terie (p. ex. montage, maintenance etc.) ou pour la transporter et stocker.
Ne pas laisser les enfants utiliser la lampe sur batterie sans surveillance. Elle
est conçue pour une utilisation professionnelle. Les enfants risquent de s’éblouir
ou d’éblouir d’autres personnes par inadvertance.
Ne pas ouvrir l’accu. Risque de court-circuit.
Protéger l’accu de toute source de chaleur, comme p. ex. l’exposition
directe au soleil, au feu, à l’eau et à l’humidité. Il y a risque d’explosion.
Tenir l’accumulateur non-utilisé à l’écart de toutes sortes d’objets métal-
liques tels qu’agrafes, pièces de monnaie, clés, clous, vis ou autres, étant
donnéqu’unpontagepeutprovoqueruncourt-circuit.Un court-circuitentreles
contacts d’accu peut provoquer des brûlures ou un incendie.
Dans de mauvaises conditions, duliquide peut s’écouler de la batterie ; évitez
tout contact. En cas de contact accidentel, nettoyez à l’eau. Si le liquide entre
en contact avec les yeux, recherchez en plus une aide médicale. Le liquide qui
s’écoule des batteries peut causer des irritations ou des brûlures.
En cas d’endommagement et d’utilisation non conforme de l’accu, des va-
peurs peuvent s’échapper. Ventiler le lieu de travail et, en cas de malaises,
consulter un médecin. Les vapeurs peuvent entraîner des irritations des voies
respiratoires.

Ne charger les accumulateurs que dans deschargeursrecommandés par le fa-
bricant. Un chargeur approprié à un type spécifique d’accumulateur peut engen-
drer un risque d’incendie lorsqu’il est utilisé avec d’autres accumulateurs.
N’utilisez l’accumulateur qu’avec votre produit Bosch. Ceci protège l’accumu-
lateur contre une surcharge dangereuse.
Les objets pointus comme un clou ou un tournevis et le fait d’exercer une
force extérieure sur le boîtier risque d’endommager l’accu. Il peut en résulter
un court-circuit interne et l’accu risque de s’enflammer, de dégager des fumées,
d’exploser ou de surchauffer.

Utilisation conforme
La lampe sans fil convient à l’éclairage mobile, localisé et limité dans le temps de
zones intérieures et extérieures sèches et elle n’est pas conçue pour l’éclairage géné-
ral de toute une pièce.

Montage
Chargement de l’accu (accessoire)
Note : L’accu est fourni en état de charge faible. Afin de garantir la puissance com-
plète del’accu, chargez complètement l’accu dans le chargeur avant la première mise
en service.
La batterie Lithium-ion peut être rechargée à tout moment, sans que sa durée de vie
n’en soit réduite. Le fait d’interrompre le processus de charge n’endommage pas la
batterie.
Grâce à la Protection Electronique des Cellules « Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) »,
l’accuLithium-ionestprotégécontreunedécharge profonde. Lorsquel’accumulateur
est déchargé, la lampe sur batterie est éteinte par un dispositif d’arrêt de protection.
Après la mise hors fonctionnement automatique de la lampe sur batterie,
n’appuyez plus sur l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt. Ceci pourrait endommager
l’accu.
Pour retirer l’accu 5, appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage 4et tirez l’accu vers l’ar-
rière, hors de la lampe. Ne forcez pas.
Respectez les indications concernant l’élimination.

Fonctionnement
Mise en service
Montage de l’accu
Montez l’accumulateur chargé 5dans le logement jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette de fa-
çon perceptible et ne dépasse plus.
Mise en Marche/Arrêt
Pour la mise en service de la lampe sur batterie, appuyez sur l’interrupteur
Marche/Arrêt 2.
Pour éteindre la lampe sur batterie, appuyez à nouveau sur l’interrupteur Marche/Ar-
rêt 2.
Pour économiser l’énergie, n’allumez la lampe sur batterie que quand vous l’utilisez.
Instructions d’utilisation
Crochet de suspension (voir figure A)
Le crochet de suspension 3permet de fixer la lampe sans fil à un objet.
Orientation de la lampe sans fil (voir figure B)
La lampe sans fil peut être utilisée debout, suspendue ou posée à plat. Sa forme hexa-
gonale permet d’orienter la lumière en fonction des besoins et du type d’utilisation.
Entretien et Service Après-Vente
Nettoyage et entretien

Après-Vente agréée pour outillage Bosch.
La lampe sur batterie ne nécessite aucun entretien et ne contient pas de pièces de-
vant être remplacées ou nécessitant un entretien.
La source d’éclairage ne peut pas être remplacée. Quand la source d’éclairage est dé-
fectueuse, il faut remplacer toute la lampe à accu.
Ne nettoyez le disque en plastique de la lampe sur batterie qu’avec un chiffon doux et
sec afin d’éviter les endommagements. N’utilisez pas de détergents ou de solvants.
