HOW TO USE
Before usin for the first time, become familiar with the Warmin Cabinet
features, Fi s. C-D). Wash removable parts in warm sudsy water, rinse and dry.
Clean the warmin cabinet base with a mild deter ent and a soft moist cloth.
Do not use any scourin a ents! DO NOT SUBMERGE THE WARMING BASE
OR LET THE PLUG COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER. Rinse and wipe dry.
Do not allow water to spill or seep into the frame.
Door Assembly:
1. (These models are shipped with the doors unassembled, to prevent breaka e
durin shipment.) Hold the left door on an an le with fin erhole to the left. (Fi .
A.) Raise the top ed e of the door to fit into the top door channel inside the front
cabinet overhan . Then strai hten the door and allow the lower ed e to drop into
the bottom door channel. Repeat with the ri ht door (Fi . B), holdin it so the
fin erhole is to the ri ht. Reverse the procedure to remove doors for cleanin .
Initial Use:
Heat the warmin cabinet base without foods on it for approximately 10
minutes at maximum settin in order to seal the special coatin . Temporary
smokin is normal durin initial use.
Subsequent Use:
1. Each level is equipped with a separate variable thermostat knob. Levels may
be operated at different temperatures simultaneously. Heat ran e is from 1550
to 2000 F, to keep foods at servin temperatures. For best results, use maximum
heat settin to quickly reach your desired temperature, then adjust to desired
temperature. Set heat level by turnin the knob so that the desired knob
markin lines up with the si nal li ht.
2. The li ht will come on only durin heat cycle. Due to the low watta e necessary
for warmin trays, it can be 20-30 minutes before the li ht cycles off.
3. You may use the unit either fully assembled with chafin pans, (Fi . C) or
use the warmin base alone as a warmin cabinet (Fi . D).
4. If usin chafin pans, place the chafin pan holder on the warmin base
before placin the chafin pans in place.
5. Model MLW-C is the 2-tiered warmin cabinet only. Model MLB-CSLP includes
the 2-tiered warmin cabinet plus chafin pan holder and the followin stainless
chafin pans with clear polypropylene lids with utensil slots: one 2.6 quart pan
& two 4.3 quart pans. The 2.6 quart pan will hold up to 25 four ounce servin s;
the 4.3 quart pans each hold up to 40 four ounce servin s. Model MLB-CSLP4

To reduce the risk of personal injury or property dama e when usin
electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
includin the followin :

2. Do not touch hot surfaces! Always use hot pads or pot holders until unit cools.
3. To protect a ainst electrical shock, do not immerse tray base, cord or plu
in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplu from outlet when not in use and before cleanin . Allow to cool
completely before puttin on or takin off parts, and before cleanin or storin
the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a dama ed cord or plu or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been dama ed in any manner.
Return the appliance to the BroilKin Factory Service Department
(call 860-738-2200 first) for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord han over ed e of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot as or electric burner or in a heated oven.
11. It is recommended that this appliance not be moved when it contains hot oil
or other hot liquid.
12. Do not clean with metal scourin pads. They can scratch and ruin the
finish of your unit.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. DO OT USE PLASTIC DISHES OR PLASTIC WRAP O TRAY .

This product is for household use only.
OTE: A short power supply cord (or cord set) has been provided to reduce
the hazards resultin from becomin entan led in or trippin over a lon er cord.
Lon er cord sets or extension cords may be used if care is properly exercised
in their use. If a lon cord set or extension cord is used, the marked electrical
ratin of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as reat as the electrical
ratin of the appliance. The lon er cord should be arran ed so that it will not
drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over accidentally.
The hi h-tech warmin surface will remain unblemished for a lon time with
appropriate care. The warmin surface and hi h- rade, lon -life stainless chafin
pans allow for an attractive alternative for keepin appetizers and other foods warm.
For best results use nylon, plastic, wooden or rubber utensils. Metal utensils may
be used with care but should not be used to cut food on the cookin surfaces.
