Unpack the box and place the pieces, upside
down, in their approximate positions: the side
rails on the left and right, the head rail at the
top, and the foot rail at the bottom. You can
identify the bottom of each rail by the wood
supports underneath the lip.

Slide the rails together and insert the teeth
on the side rails into the head and foot
rails. The interior lip of the side rails will nest
underneath the lip of the head and foot rails.

Everything we make is incredibly simple to
set up, including your new bed. You won’t
need any tools, but an extra set of hands to
help flip will be useful.
Before you start, clear out the space where
your bed will go. If you plan to put a rug
under your bed, it’s best to place it on the
floor now, and adjust it before you put the
mattress on top.
Important note: you’re going to start with
the bed frame upside down.

Screw a leg into each of the four corners to hold
each of the rails together.

Rest the center support rail into the notches
at both ends of the bed frame.

With a partner, gently flip the bed frame so
that it’s right-side up, and rest it back on
the ground.

Screw the center support leg into the center
support rail.

Unfold the upholstered cover, and locate the
length that hasfour openings to allowhand
screws to go through; this isthe head. Fit it
over the rails and pull down until it’s snugly

Grab the bracket and two thumbscrews.
Line up the holes with the threaded inserts
on the back of the headboard, and use the
thumbscrews to fully attach the two halves.

Then, fit the righthalf of the headboard into
the gap on the head rail, again with the black
fit over the top of the frame, then secure the
cover in place by pressing the velcro strips
together. If you don’t havea headboard,
skip ahead to Step 12.

Take theleft half of the headboard,and with
the blackfabricfacingthe bed, fit the lip
into thegap onthe head rail. Fit a washer
over the barrel of two of the hand screws
(or three, if you have a king size bed) then
use them to securely attach the headboard
to the head rail.

Unfold the headboard cover, and find the
top middle of the velcro strip. Begin by
attachingit to the top middle of the back of
the headboard, and pulling it taut as you go,

Place your mattress on topof the slats, and
your bed is ready for sheets, pillows, and all
that soft stuff!

Use the posts on the center support rail
and the extending bitfrom the leg screw to
anchor one end of the slats in place, and
unroll them tothe other end of the frame.
Repeat for both sides.
