Safety Precautions
Make sure you observe
these safety precautions.
The unit and its instruction manual state important points to avoid property damage and
harm to users and others. Make sure you understand the following signs and symbols first,
then read the text.
If you misuse the unit by ignoring these contents, it may cause serious injury by fire or
electric shock. In order to avoid accidents, make sure you observe the following.

not play with the appliance.
Do not touch the in-vehicle charger
with wet hands.
Otherwise, electric shock may occur.

Do not damage the USB cord.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may
result from a short circuit or broken
wire.
Be sure to observe the following
regarding the USB cord.
·Do not modify or damage it.
· Do not bend, pull, twist, bundle,
or place heavy objects on it
unnecessarily.
· Do not place it near a heater.
· Do not heat the USB cord.
· Do not pull the USB cord when
carrying the unit.

Do not disassemble, modify, or
repair the unit.
Otherwise, fire, electric shock,
or other injuries may result. For
repairing, consult the dealer where
you purchased this product, or your
nearest cado customer service.
Do not use the unit in the following
places.
· Where flammable gas or metallic
dust is present.
Should the unit suck in these
elements, fire or smoke may result.
· Where there is high temperature,
humidity, or water, such as in
bathrooms, etc.
Otherwise it may cause fire or
electric shock by electric leakage.
· In greasy places where there are
machines or cooking oil.
The unit may crack and the power
supply or fan component may be
exposed and cause electric shock
or injury.
· Where the unit is within reach of
children.
Otherwise, electric shock or other
injuries may result.
Do not soak or pour water on the
unit.
Otherwise, fire or electric shock may
result.
Do not use the unit near burning
cigarettes or incense.
Otherwise, fire may result.
Do not operate this unit while
driving.
Otherwise, distraction may result in a
traffic accident.
Do not place this unit in a location
that may interfere with the driver’s
line of sight, driving operations, or
where it may endanger passengers.
Otherwise, a traffic accident or injury
may result.
Insert the in-vehicle charger into
the outlet all the way and firmly.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may
result.
Unplug the USB cord from the unit
when replacing the filter.
Otherwise, the USB will be pulled out
when removing the enclosure. Removing
the enclosure forcibly may cause injuries.
Make sure you turn off the unit
and pull out the in-vehicle charger
from the unit before cleaning,
maintenance, or carrying.
Otherwise, electric shock or injury
may result.
Turn off the unit immediately and pull
out the in-vehicle charger if abnormal
operations or malfunctions occur.
Otherwise it may break further or
cause electric shock, smoke, or fire.

· After the filter is installed, the unit
does not start even after pressing
the power button.
· When the USB cord is moved,
power cuts in/out.
· There are abnormal sounds or
vibrations during operation.
· The unit, in-vehicle charger, or USB
cord is unusually hot.

· The unit emits a burning smell, etc.
Make sure that pets do not urinate
on the unit or bite the USB cord.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may
result.
This unit should be placed in a
location that does not interfere with
driving. Place the USB cord where
it will not interfere with driving.
· Do not allow the USB cord to
come in contact with or get caught
between the console panel, foot
brake, seat armrest, or gear lever.
·
Consider moving forward/
backward/rotational/reclining range
of the seats.
Check the working status of
electrical parts after the USB cord
is properly placed.
Check that the brakes, headlights,
horn, warning lights, and turn
lights are working properly. A faulty
electrical system in a car may
cause fire, electric shock, or a traffic
accident.

Do not place the unit in an unstable
area.
Otherwise, the unit may topple over,
and it may cause injury or electrical
shock due to breakage.
Do not block the air inlet/air outlet
with laundry, cloths, curtains, etc.
Otherwise, overheating or fire (due to
poor air circulation) may result.
If any residual water appears on the
unit, use the unit after drying.
Otherwise, electric shock or injury
may result.
Do not use chlorinated/acid
detergents for cleaning.
Otherwise, damage to health from
toxic fumes may result.
Do not wipe the unit with benzine,
thinner, or spray with pesticide.
Otherwise, cracking, electric shock,
or fire may result.
Do not use the unit where smoke-
emitting pesticides are present.
Otherwise it may cause damage
to health from the emission of
accumulated chemicals when using
the unit later.
Do not insert fingers or sticks into
the air inlet/air outlet.
Otherwise, injury, electric shock, or
breakage may result.
Do not touch any metal parts of the
in-vehicle charger or charger outlet.
After the unit stops operating, the
temperature of metal parts of the in-
vehicle charger or charger outlet is
high. Do not touch them. Otherwise, a
burn may result.
Do not place the unit on a tilted
surface, or any location that is
unstable or subject to vibration.
Otherwise, the unit may drop or topple
over which may cause injury.

Ventilate the room by opening
windows periodically when you use
the unit with a heater at the same
time.
The unit cannot remove carbon
monoxide from the air. Carbon
monoxide poisoning may occur if
ventilation is inadequate.

Do not place the unit in a holder
that may cause the unit to fall out
or topple over.
Otherwise, injury or failure may result.
Do not place the unit in a holder that
may bend the USB cord excessively
or compress the USB cord.
Otherwise, the USB cord may be
damaged, resulting in electric shock.
Operating Precautions
Make sure to attach the filter
properly.
Remove the polythene bag from the
filter before use.
Do not block the air inlet/air outlet.
Otherwise, the whole room will not fill
with clean air and the cleaning effect
may deteriorate or there may be a
malfunction.
Do not use the unit without the filter.
Otherwise, air cleaning will not be
effective, or a malfunction may result.
Do not use the unit in a room with
a lot of oil or smoke, such as in a
kitchen.
Otherwise, the lifetime of the filter will
be shortened, or it may be deformed.
Do not place the unit in direct
sunlight or where the wind from an
air conditioner or heater hits the unit.
Otherwise, the unit may be deformed
or discolored, or a malfunction may
occur.
Do not leave the unit in cars.
The temperature in cars becomes
high due to the direct sunlight in the
summer, etc. It may cause deformation,
discoloration, or failure.
Do not place the unit close to an
automobile’s electronic key.
An electronic key generates
electromagnetic waves that could
interfere with the one of this unit. This
may cause the automobile to not
recognize the key, resulting in activation
of the alarm and alarm light(s).
This unit should be kept at a distance
of at least 30 cm from automobile
electronic keys.
Do not place this unit close to an
automobile antenna.
Place it away from the antenna.
Otherwise, it may cause noise in radio
reception.
To avoid unnecessary power
consumption, remove the in-vehicle
charger from the charger outlet when
this unit is not in use.

Parts and Functions
About the limitations of the air purifier
The unit is not intended to remove all harmful substances in the air. (For example, the unit
cannot remove carbon monoxide of cigarette smoke.)
Also, the unit does not have the same efficacy as fans. When you use the unit in closed
rooms or cars, ventilate the room by opening the windows periodically.

Note
Be sure to use the supplied in-vehicle charger. It is designed for use with this unit only,
and should not be used with any other appliance.

Installing the Deodorizing/Dust
Collecting/Anti-Bacterial Filter
Remove the enclosure.
Rotate the enclosure counterclockwise
in the direction of arrow aand lift
upwards b.

Be sure to disconnect the power supply
prior to the following operations.
Take out the filter from the
polythene bag.

Attach the enclosure.
Supporting the filter with your fingers
a, align the flute on the side of the
supporting stick with the projection
part in the hole of the chassis b. Then
place the enclosure down vertically c,
and rotate to the arrow d.

Attach the filter.
Turn over the enclosure, and attach
the filter (blue side faced up) to the
center protrusion.

Note
If you cannot attach the enclosure properly,
the filter may be set incorrectly. Check if
the filter is set properly.

How to Operate
Preparing before Use
Insert the USB connector (small)
into the connector on the bottom of
the unit.
Note
Make sure to use the supplied USB cord.
Connect the USB connector (big)
of the USB cord into the in-vehicle
charger, and insert the in-vehicle
charger into the charger outlet.
Note
· Range of use of the in-vehicle charger:
DC12-24V (can be used for general
cars, buses, trucks, etc.)
· In order to avoid unnecessary power
consumption, unplug the in-vehicle
charger from the charger outlet when
not using the unit.

Illumination intensity sensor
The illumination intensity sensor senses
ambient brightness. In low ambient
light, the unit automatically reduces the
brightness of all lights. In high ambient
light, the unit automatically increases the
brightness of all lights.

Maintenance
The Unit
Clean the unit and the air inlet/air outlet
periodically.
Notes on maintenance
·
Be sure to unplug the USB cord from the unit before carrying out any maintenance.
· Use a soft cloth, cotton buds, etc., to carry out maintenance. If you use a hard brush,
etc., for maintenance, it may cause damage or breakage.
·
Only use neutral detergents if necessary. If you use non-neutral detergents, it may
damage the surface or cause breakage.
Remove dust from the unit with a
soft cloth.
Remove dust from the air inlet/air
outlet with a vacuum cleaner or a
soft cloth.
If the unit becomes very dirty, wipe it with
a cloth dampened with diluted neutral
detergent.

Replacing the Deodorizing/
Dust Collecting/Anti-
Bacterial Filter
The filter should not be cleaned with water.
Replace it with a new one periodically
(typically every six months depending on
usage).
Filter
Hold the filter with its blue side facing up.
Remove dust from the filter with a vacuum
cleaner or a soft cloth.

Pull out the in-vehicle charger.
Unplug the USB cord from the
connector on the bottom of the
unit.
Remove the enclosure.
See step 1 in “Installing the
Deodorizing/Dust Collecting/Anti-
Bacterial Filter” ( page 7).
Remove the old filter.
Install the new filter.
Take out the new filter from the
polythene bag then install the filter
on the enclosure. To install the filter,
refer to step 2-3 in “Installing the
Deodorizing/Dust Collecting/Anti-
Bacterial Filter” ( page 7).
Attach the enclosure.
See the step 4 in “Installing the
Deodorizing/Dust Collecting/Anti-
Bacterial Filter” ( page 7).

To purchase the deodorizing/dust
collecting/anti-bacterial filter (not
supplied) for replacement, refer
to the model name as detailed on
“Accessories” ( page 12), and consult
your local dealer.
Note
· Calculated based on the test method
of the JEM1467 in the Standards of
the Japan Electrical Manufacturers'
Association. Standard when operating
on rapid mode.
· When replacing the filter, make sure to
unplug the USB cord from the unit.

Troubleshooting

The unit does not work. Is the in-vehicle charger (or USB cord) firmly
inserted into the charger outlet (or in-vehicle
charger)?
Is the USB connector (small) firmly inserted to
the connector on the bottom of the unit?
→ Insert properly.

No air is output.
Not enough air is output.
The air cleaning effect
weakens.
Check if the air inlet/air outlet is dirty.
→ Clean them as necessary. If the problem
persists, replace the deodorizing/dust
collecting/anti-bacterial filter with a new one.

smell.
Check if the air inlet/air outlet is dirty.
→ Clean them as necessary. If the problem
persists, replace the deodorizing/dust
collecting/anti-bacterial filter with a new one.

Check if the unit is used where strong odors
are present.
→ If you use the unit where there is a strong
odor from cigarettes, after a BBQ, etc., for a
long time, the deodorizing/dust collecting/
anti-bacterial filter may need to be replaced
with a new one after a short period of time. If
you use the unit in such an environment, you
are advised to ventilate the room periodically.
