The Remote Controlled Ceiling Alarm is
designed to be mounted on the ceiling in
the center of a room at a height of 8 to 10
feet from the ground, where the PIR
(passive infra-red sensor will detect the
movement of heat over an area of 20 feet
by 360 degrees. It is armed/disarmed
with the infra-red remote control
keychain.

ARMING/DISARMING THE ALARM
Th unit is arm d/disarm d by us of th
infra-r d r mot control k ychain, which
op rat s up to a distanc of 25 f t from
th alarm. Simply point th r mot control
at th alarm, pr ss onc and r l as .
1. Th unit will sound “Ding-Dong” to
signify ntry into Chim mod . In this
mod , wh n v r motion is d t ct d, a
“Ding-Dong” sound will play.
2. Wh n th R mot Control is pr ss d a
s cond tim , th unit will giv on
“b p” signifying ntry into Alarm
mod . Th Gr n LED will light up for
approx. 30-45 s conds allowing xit
from th d t ction zon .
To disarm th unit, simply pr ss th
r mot control a third tim . Th unit will
giv two b ps signifying th unit b ing
disarm d. Wh n nt ring th d t ction
zon , approximat ly 10 s conds ar giv n
to d activat th unit b for th alarm
sounds.
If th gr n light is flashing upon your
r turn, th r has b n an intrusion. Th
alarm has b n s t off, and has r s t its lf.
THE ALARM
Th alarm is activat d by th motion
d t ction s nsor. Aft r a 10 s cond d lay,
th 110dB high fr qu ncy alarm will
automatically sound onc th s nsor has
d t ct d mov m nt. It will r main on for
approximat ly on minut if no furth r
mov m nt is d t ct d, aft r which it
automatically shuts off and r s ts its lf.
LOW BATTERY INDICATOR

r d LED on th front of th unit will flash.

BATTERY BACK-UP FUNCTION
If th r is a pow r failur wh n th unit is
b ing op rat d by th AC pow r sourc ,
as long as th unit contains th corr ct
batt ri s, it will automatically switch to
batt ry pow r l aving th unit arm d and
r ady to d t ct motion.

Affix th mounting brack t to th c iling

attach d to th brack t by aligning th
plastic clips to th brack t and turning
th unit clockwis . Th clips will th n
snap into th brack t. To tak th unit off,
simply push th unit up against th
c iling and rotat count r clockwis .
