Parts Required: (1) Carbon Filter, (1) DI Cartridge, (1) Antimicrobial Copper
Rod, (1) Atomizer, (1) Silicone Grease
Tools Required: (2) 5/8″ Wrenches, Bucket
Parts included in Preventative Maintenance Kit for Model CRSY102 are shown below.
1. Turn off recirculator and unplug power cord.
2. If necessary, pull recirculator away from wall.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING CARBON FILTER, DI CARTRIDGE,
ANTIMICROBIAL COPPER ROD AND ATOMIZER IN MODEL
CRSY102
REPLACING DI CARTRIDGE
Disconnect electrical power before removing access panel(s).

3. Remove left and right access panels. Remove panels by pulling down on latch
tabs, rotating panel slightly outward and lifting as shown below.
4. Remove fastening screw and slide filter wrench off DI cartridge housing as shown
below.

5. Unscrew DI cartridge housing on left side of recirculator using filter wrench as
shown below. Note: Drain water from DI cartridge housing into bucket.

6. Remove and discard old DI cartridge.

Do not discard O-ring inside of DI cartridge housing.

7. Insert new DI cartridge into housing and grease entire 0-ring with silicone grease
as shown below. Note: Do not use more than half of silicone grease.
Ensure tapered end of DI cartridge is located next to O-ring groove.
Ensure O-ring is seated inside groove in DI cartridge housing.

8. Screw DI cartridge housing to recirculator until hand-tight and use filter wrench to
tighten 1/8 turn further as shown below.
1. Unscrew carbon filter housing on right side of recirculator using filter wrench as
shown below. Note: Drain water from carbon filter housing into bucket.
2. Remove and discard old carbon filter.

Do not discard O-ring inside of carbon filter housing.

3. Insert new carbon filter into housing and grease entire 0-ring using silicone
grease.
4. Screw filter housing to recirculator until hand-tight and use filter wrench to
tighten 1/8 turn further as shown below.
5. Slide filter wrench onto DI cartridge housing and fasten screw.
1. Unscrew reservoir cap located on top of recirculator as shown below.
REPLACING ANTIMICROBIAL COPPER ROD
Ensure O-ring is seated inside groove in filter housing.

2. Retrieve old antimicrobial copper rod from inside reservoir, squeeze spring clip
and slide off antimicrobial copper rod as shown below.
3. Discard old antimicrobial copper rod and spring clip.
4. Slightly squeeze new spring clip together. Then insert long white end of new
antimicrobial copper rod into new spring clip as shown below.
