Unlessotherwiseinstructed,alwaysperformthesestepsbeforeyouservicethemachine:
1.Parkthemachineonaat,levelsurface.
2.Placethebackhoeinthetransportpositionwiththeswinglockpininstalledfortransport.
3.Placetheloaderbucketontheground,withthebottomoftheloaderbucketparalleltothesurface.
4.Placethedirectioncontrolleverandthetransmissioninneutral.
5.Ifyouneedtoopenthehoodtoperformservice,raisetheloaderarmsandinstallthesupportstrut.
6.Shutdowntheengine.
7.Placea'DoNotOperate'tagonthekeyswitchsothatitisvisibletootherworkersorremovethekey.

1.Makesuretoarrestallfuelleaks.Anyfueloroilspilledonhotsurfaceorelectricalcomponentsmaycausere
accidents.Makesurethatthemachineissealedfromleakage.
2.Donotallowstraw,trash,birdnestsorammablematerialinthemachineandremovethesameastheycanignite
reonhotsurfaces.
3.Makesurethereextinguisherinstalledonornearthemachine.Ifalreadyequipped,thereextinguisheris
maintainedandservicedaccordingtothemanufacturer’sinstructions.
4.Checkandmakesuretocleanallthetrashfromthemachineespeciallyaroundhotcomponentssuchasthe
engine,transmission,exhaust,battery,etc.Dothesechecksandcleanthemachineatleastonceaday,probablyat
theendoftheday.Morefrequentchecksandcleaningofmachinemaybenecessarydependingontheoperating
environmentandconditions.
5.Inspecttheelectricalsystemforlooseconnectionsandfrayedinsulation.Repairorreplacethelooseordamaged
parts.
6.Checkandremovethedebrisaccumulationaroundmovingcomponentssuchasbearings,pulleys,belts,gears,
cleaningfans,etc.Morefrequentcleaningofthemachinemaybenecessarydependingontheoperatingenvironment
andconditions.
7.Checkallfuses,relay,andMCB’sforcorrectratingsandvalidity.Replacethedefectiveornon-complaintparts.Do
nottobypass/override/tamperanysafetysystemsofthemachine.
8.Checkandremoveanyoilyragsorotherammablematerialonthemachine.Donottostoresuchmaterialaround
oronthemachine.
9.Makesurethatdonotweldoramecutanyitemsthatcontainammablematerial.Cleantheitemsthoroughly
withnon-ammablesolventsbeforeweldingorame-cutting.
10.Immediatelyinvestigateanyunusualsmellsorodorsthatmayemergeduringoperationofthemachine.Always
awareofsuchobservationsandactionsthereof.
11.MakesurethatthemachineisservicedonlybyauthorizedCASECONSTRUCTIONdealerserviceteamandnot
byanyexternalparties.
12.Checkandremoveanynon-recommendeddevicesthatarettedonthemachine.Donottouseanydevicesthat
arenotastandardtmentbythecompany.
13.Thepersonnelmakesurethattheydonotsmokeorusemobileswhilerefuelling.Itisnotadvisabletopark
themachinenearaplacewhichposesrehazard(Workshopswherewelding,grinding,gascuttingetcisunderway,
bonresetc).
NOTICE:Anydamagetothemachineduetonon-adherenceoftheaboveguidelinesandinstructionsmayleadthe

Soil,air,andwaterarevitalfactorsofagricultureandlifeingeneral.Whenlegislationdoesnotyetrulethetreatment
ofsomeofthesubstancesrequiredbyadvancedtechnology,soundjudgmentshouldgoverntheuseanddisposalof
productsofachemicalandpetrochemicalnature.
NOTE:Thefollowingarerecommendationsthatmaybeofassistance:
•Becomeacquaintedwithandensurethatyouunderstandtherelativelegislationapplicabletoyourcountry.
•Wherenolegislationexists,obtaininformationfromsuppliersofoils,lters,batteries,fuels,antifreeze,cleaning
agents,etc.,withregardtotheireffectonmanandnatureandhowtosafelystore,use,anddisposeofthese
substances.

•Avoidllingtanksusingcansorinappropriatepressurizedfueldeliverysystemsthatmaycauseconsiderable
spillage.
•Ingeneral,avoidskincontactwithallfuels,oils,acids,solvents,etc.Mostofthemcontainsubstancesthatmaybe
harmfultoyourhealth.
•Modernoilscontainadditives.Donotburncontaminatedfuelsandorwasteoilsinordinaryheatingsystems.
•Avoidspillagewhendrainingoffusedenginecoolantmixtures,engine,gearboxandhydraulicoils,brakeuids,etc.
Donotmixdrainedbrakeuidsorfuelswithlubricants.Storethemsafelyuntiltheycanbedisposedofinaproper
waytocomplywithlocallegislationandavailableresources.
•Moderncoolantmixtures,i.e.antifreezeandotheradditives,shouldbereplacedeverytwoyears.Theyshouldnot
beallowedtogetintothesoil,butshouldbecollectedanddisposedofproperly.
•Repairanyleaksordefectsintheenginecoolingorhydraulicsystemimmediately.
•Donotincreasethepressureinapressurizedcircuitasthismayleadtoacomponentfailure.
•Protecthosesduringweldingaspenetratingweldsplattermayburnaholeorweakenthem,allowingthelossof
oils,coolant,etc.
