properly assembled before connecting the
plug and switching on atthepower outlet
and switching ON theOn/O button on the

unless properly assembled.

On/O button, then switch oatthepower
outlet and removetheplug if theappliance
is left unattended, if not in use, if moved or
dismantled for cleaning and when storing.

Step 1.
Pull theJuicer Press Arm up and backwards,
away from theMotor Base, until fully extended.
Step 2.
Place theJuice Collector onto theDriveShaft on
top of theMotor Base. Ensure theJuice Spout
ts into thesemi-circulargrooveatthefront of
theMotor Base.
Step 3.
Insert theselected Stainless Steel Filter (ne
or coarse) into theJuice Collector, aligning
theindent with arrow in thebottom of the
Filter over thecorresponding tab with arrow
in theJuice Collector. Use theCoarse Filter for
maximum pulp content in thejuice and theFine
Filter to decrease thepulp content in thejuice.

Step 4.
Place theJuicing Cone onto theDriveShaft
and press downlightly to lock theCone into
position.
Step 5.
Insert theFruit Domeonto theundersideof the
Juicing Press Arm by aligning thetab on top
of theFruit Domewith theholein theJuicing
Press Arm. Hold onto theJuicing Press Arm and
press theFruit Domeup and backwardsuntil
theDomelocksinto position. Note: TheFruit
Domeis keyed, and canonly beinserted in
one way (this will ensure thatit does not rotate
through operation).
Step 6.
Ensure theAnti-drip Juice Spout is pushed
downinto thepouring position.
Step 7.
Place a suitablesized glass or jug underneath
theJuice Spout.

Step 1.
Ensure theCitrus Press CP 8010 is correctly
assembled and a glass or jug is placed under
theJuice Spout before juicing commences.
Step 2.
Cut thecitrus fruit in halfby cutting across the
fruit segments, rather thanacross thetip ends,
to ensure more ecient juicing.
Important: Some fruits, such as lemons
and tangelos, have knobbly tip ends which
require trimming for better contact with the
Fruit Dome.
Step 3.
Plug thepower cord into a 230/240 V power
outlet, switch on atthepower outlet then
switch theOn/O button to„ I“. Turn machine
main switch ‘On’.

Step 4.
Place a citrus fruit half, cut sidedown, onto the
Juice Cone and push downlightly onto the
spikes
Step 5.
Grasp theSoft Grip Handleand slowly lower
theJuicing Press Arm and press downrmly
until theFruit Domeis in contact with thefruit
skin. Themotor will automatically start and the
Juicing Cone will begin to rotate. Thejuice will
beextracted from thefruit and ow through the
Juice Spout into theglass, Thepulp and seeds
will collect in theStainless Steel Filter.
Step 6.
TheCitrus Press CP 8010 juices very quickly so
each fruit halfwill bejuiced in a few seconds.
Toautomatically stop themotor, lift theJuicing
Press Arm up and backwardsto its extended
position.

Step 7.
Removetheused fruit from theJuicing Cone.
Empty excess pulp and seedsfrom Stainless
Steel Filter asrequired.
RepeatSteps3-7 to continue juicing.
NOTE:
TheStainless Steel Filter should be
emptied when full with pulp and
seeds. TheFilter canbeemptied
during juicing by switching theCitrus
Press„OFF“ attheOn/O button and
carefully removing theJuicing Cone
and Filter. Cleanand replace Stainless
Steel Filter and Juicing Cone before
continuing to juice.
Donot allow theStainless Steel Filter
to overll asthis may prevent correct
operation or damagetheunit.

Step 1.
Switch theCitrus Press„OFF“ attheOn/O
button, then switch OFF atthepower outlet
and unplug.
Step 2.
a. Pull theJuicing Press Arm up and
backwards, away from theMotor Base, until
fully extended.
b. Close theanti drip spout by pulling to
upper position.
Step 3.
With thearm in thedownposition, remove
theFruit Domeby pressing thebutton marked
„EJECT“. Let theFruit Domedrop onto the
Juicing Cone.

Step 4.
Lift theJuice Collector from theMotor Body
with theStainless Steel Filter, Juicing Cone and
Fruit Domestill in place. RemovetheCone and
Filter from theJuice Collector over a sink for
easier cleaning.
Follow recommended Care and Cleaning
guidelines.
Storage.
Insert theDust Cover before storing.

Cleaning

CARE AND CLEANING
• Alwaysensure thattheCitrus Press CP 8010
is switched OFF attheOn/O button, the
power is switched oatthepower outlet
and theplug is removed from thepower
outlet before cleaning, disassembling,
assembling and storing theappliance.
• Follow these instructions to cleanall
surfaces or parts thatcomeinto contact
with food during juicing:
1. For easy cleaning – immediately after
each use rinse removableparts under warm
water to removewet pulp. Allow parts to air
dry before reassembling.
2. For thorough cleaning - after
disassembling theappliance, all removable
parts should bewashed in hot soapy water
or on thetop shelfof thedishwasher. The
Motor Base and Juicing Press Arm should
bewiped with a soft, damp cloth. All
parts should bedried thoroughly before
reassembling.
• Store thecleaned and reassembled Citrus
Press in anuprightposition in a cool, dry
place. Donot place any itemson top of the
Citrus Press whilst stored.

NOTE:
Rinse or wash all removableparts
immediately after use. Dried citrus
pulp is dicultto removeand may
stain. If any staining does occur, wipe
theaected part/swith undiluted
dishwashing liquid, rinse and dry
thoroughly.
NOTE:
Donot soak theStainless Steel Filters
or other removableparts in bleach.
Never immerse themotor base in
water or any other liquid. Donot use
harsh abrasives.

Although juice drinksare usually developed
with avour, texture and aroma attheforefront,
thehealth benets certainly add to the
pleasurabletaste experience.
95% of thenutrient content of fruit and
vegetables is found in thejuice. Liquidsare an
important part of a well balanced diet. Fresh
juice is aneasy source of vitamins and minerals.
Juices are rapidly absorbed into theblood
stream therefore being thequickest way in
which thebody candigest nutrients.
Citrus juice is renowned for its high content of
Vitamin C and cold and ughting capabilities.
Freshly extracted juices should beconsumed
just after they havebeen madeto avoid vitamin
content loss.
PURCHASING AND STORAGE OF FRUIT AND
VEGETABLES
• Alwaysuse fresh fruit for juicing.
• Select fruit with rm, smooth skins and free
of blemishes.
• Valencia oranges are ideal for juicing.
• Select medium sized grapefruits, lemons
and limes for easier juicing.
• Other citrus fruits such asmandarins, also
knownastangerines, and pomelos will
yield very littlejuice.
• Citrus fruits canbestored atroom
temperature in a dry area.
• More juice is obtained from fruit stored at
room temperature.
