Tubicast Installation Manual
This user manual describes how to set up TubiCast (WiFi) to access advanced featuresin CSR-
401HP Set Top Box (STB) for casting / streaming movies, photos and videos from mobile phone to
TV.
1. Setup Requirements
1.1 Catvision CSR-401HP Set top Box with WiFi*
1.2 WiFi Network
1.3 Smartphone (Android/iOS)
*Note: In case you have purchased STB without Wifi then an external USB Tubicast Dongle (sold
by Catvision) will have to be connected to the USB port of the STB.

2. Network
2.1 Network Config.
Switch on STB and go to STB Menu.
From Main Menu go to NetworkWifi

2.2 Wifi Settings
The Networkstatus would be initially in Disconnect state. Once WiFi connection is configured
successfully, the network status will change to Connect.
To configure Wifi, scroll to highlight the WiFi Manager & press OK.

2.3 Wifi Manager
When this menu is opened, it lists the Wifi SSIDs available in the vicinity.
Select the one to which you have access.

2.4 Wifi Config
On clicking the specific Wifi SSID, the password menu will open.
After entering the correct password, press the red button of your STB remote to successfully
connect to the Wifi.

3.0 TubiCast
Download & install the Tubicast app from Google Play Store (for Android)or App Store (for iOS)
Connect your mobile phone to the same WiFi network as done for the STB in Wifi Manager.
This step is necessary for the phone to discover the STB and to use the TubiCast feature
Once the mobile phone and STB are connected to the same WiFi network, open the TubiCast app
on the phone.
In the "Device" tab at the bottomof the screen, you will see a devicelist showing "DEMO_xxxx"
underConnected Device. This confirms your app is connected to the STB.

3.1 TubiCast Features
3.1.1 Browser & YouTube
In the Sites tab you can directly enter the URL example "www.youtube.com"
3.1.2 Casting Online video on TV
When you click a video on the browser, it will start playing on thephone screen and a red
“TubiCast” icon will pop up at the bottomof your mobile phone screen.
Click thered "window"icon. The video will then get casted on to the TV.
*In YouTube you will get a pop-up to select video resolution 720p/360p. Set it according to your
preference.

3.1.3 Controlling TV Video
Once casting starts the Controller view will open in the App.
You can Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Fast Backward, Increase/Decrease Volume through the
controller buttons.
If you want to exit play, the content casted on TV will stop and the video will play in the browser
only
