2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar el producto. Guarde este manual
para referencias futuras o nuevos usuarios.
1. Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje especificado en la etiqueta de
clasificación del producto y de que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
2. No sumerja el cable, el enchufe o cualquier otra parte del producto en agua o cualquier
otro líquido, ni exponga las conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las
manos completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o encender el producto.
3. Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en busca de daños visibles. Si el cable
presenta daños, debe ser reparado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica oficial de Cecotec
para evitar cualquier tipo de peligro.
4. No retuerza, doble, estire o dañe el cable de alimentación. Protéjalo de bordes afilados y
fuentes de calor. No permita que el cable toque superficies calientes. No deje que el cable
asome sobre el borde de la superficie de trabajo o la encimera.
5. Apague y desenchufe el producto de la fuente de alimentación cuando no esté siendo
usado y antes de limpiarlo. Tire del enchufe para desconectarlo, no tire del cable.
6. Este producto está diseñado exclusivamente para uso doméstico. No es apropiado para
usos comerciales o industriales. No lo utilice en el exterior.
7. Coloque el aparato en una superficie seca, estable, plana y resistente al calor.
8. No use el producto bajo las siguientes circunstancias:
- Dentro o encima de cocinas eléctricas o de gas, hornos calientes o cerca de fuego.
- Sobre superficies blandas (como alfombras) o donde pueda volcarse durante su uso.
- En exteriores o áreas con altos niveles de humedad.
9. La temperatura de las superficies accesibles podría ser alta mientras se usa el producto
y podría causar quemaduras. No toque las superficies calientes mientras esté en
funcionamiento e inmediatamente después.
10. No lave el aparato en lavavajillas.
11. Elaparatono debe serusadoporniños desde 0hasta 8 años. Este electrodomésticopuede
ser usado por niños a partir de 8 años de edad si están continuamente supervisados.
12. Este producto puede ser usado por personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o

3. ANTES DE USAR
ADVERTENCIA: limpie elproducto antes de utilizarlo por primera vez para eliminar los residuos
de fabricación.
• Vierta agua en el depósito, no exceda la marca “MAX”, y coloque el depósito de agua en
su posición correcta.
Aviso: el dispositivo incluye un depósito desmontable para facilitar la limpieza. Llene el
depósito de agua primero y luego colóquelo en el dispositivo.
• Coloque el filtro de malla de acero inoxidable en el embudo (sin café).
• Coloque un vaso en el soporte para vasos. Asegúrese de que el selector de vapor está
completamente girado a la derecha.
• Conecte el dispositivo a la toma de corriente y pulse . El indicador rojo se iluminará
indicando que la máquina se está precalentando.
• Pulse para que la bomba comience a bombear agua. Para parar, pulse de nuevo.
El indicadorluminoso rojoy elverde se iluminarán cuando el proceso de precalentamiento
haya terminado.
• Pulse para que la máquina dispense agua.
• Cuando la máquina haya acabado de dispensar agua, tire el agua restante y limpie todos
los recipientes a fondo. La máquina ya está lista para ser usada.
ADVERTENCIA: es posible que el dispositivo emita ruidos al activar la bomba por primera vez,
que desaparecerán tras 20 segundos. Esto es consecuencia de que la máquina suelta aire y es
completamente normal, no afecta al funcionamiento del producto.
4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Precalentamiento
Se recomienda precalentar el dispositivo, incluyendo el embudo, el filtro y el vaso, para que el
sabor del café no se vea afectado por el hecho de utilizar algunas de las piezas en frío.
1. Retire eldepósito desmontable y abra la tapa del depósito para llenarlo de agua. No exceda
la marca “MAX” del depósito. Coloque el depósito correctamente en el dispositivo.
2. Introduzca el filtro de malla de acero inoxidable en el embudo, tire de la Lengüeta de
sujeción hacia atrás, asegúrese de que el tubo de embudo está alineado con la ranura del
dispositivo, y luego introduzca el embudo en el dispositivo y suelte la Lengüeta de sujeción.
3. Gírela en sentido contrario de las agujas delreloj hasta la posición de bloqueo para ajustarla
correctamente a la máquina de café.
4. Coloque un vaso de espresso en el soporte para vasos.
5. Conecte la máquina a la toma de corriente y asegúrese de que el selector de vapor está
completamente girado hacia la izquierda.
6. Pulse . El indicador rojo se iluminará indicando que la máquina se está precalentando.

Pulse de nuevo para bombear agua, y pulse de nuevo para parar. Este proceso
bombeará agua del depósito al calentador.
Espresso
1. Gire el embudo en sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj para retirarlo. Añada café en
polvo alfiltro de acero inoxidable con la cuchara medidora (una cucharada de café en polvo
para preparar un café), y luego utilice la cuchara para prensarlo.
2. Tire de la Lengüeta de sujeción hacia atrás, asegúrese de que el tubo de embudo está
alineado con la ranura del dispositivo, y luego introduzca el embudo en el dispositivo y
suelte la Lengüeta de sujeción. Gírela en sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj hasta la
posición de bloqueo para ajustarla correctamente a la máquina de café.
3. Tire el agua caliente del vaso y coloque el vaso caliente en el soporte.
4. Pulse , el indicador luminoso rojo se encenderá. Una vez el indicador rojo y verde estén
encendidos fijamente, pulse . El dispositivo comenzará a dispensar café.
5. Pulse para pararlo cuando haya obtenido la cantidad deseada de café. Los indicadores
luminosos se apagarán y la máquina dejará de funcionar.
Advertencia: no deje la máquina de café sin supervisión mientras esté en funcionamiento,
alguno de los pasos requieren actividad manual.
Espuma de leche/Cappuccino
1. Prepare un espresso en un vaso ligeramente más largo. Asegúrese de que el selector de
vapor está completamente girado a la izquierda.
2. Pulse y espere a que el indicador rojo y el verde estén encendidos fijamente.
• Llene una jarra con unos 100 g de leche por cada cappuccino que vaya a preparar.
• Gire el selector de vapor lentamente hacia la derecha, el tubo espumador empezará a
emitir vapor.
• Introduzca eltubo espumador en la leche unos 2 cm, espume la leche mientras mueve el
recipiente de arriba a abajo.
• Gire el selector completamente a la izquierda cuando la leche esté espumada a su gusto.
• Vierta la leche espumada en el vaso de café. Endulce a su gusto y si lo desea, espolvoree
cacao en polvo.
• Pulse para apagar el dispositivo.
Aviso:
• Se recomienda utilizar leche entera para obtener resultados de mejor calidad.
• Utilice una jarra de entre 65 y 75 mm de diámetro y suficientemente alta. El volumen de la
leche aumentará el doble al ser espumada.
• No utilice leche caliente, utilice siempre leche tibia.
• No gire el selector de vapor rápidamente, la leche podría salpicar y causar quemaduras.

• Limpie siempre la salida de vapor con una esponja húmeda inmediatamente después de
utilizarla.
• Antes de preparar otro café, permita que la máquina descanse unos 5 minutos.
Agua caliente
Esta función permite mantener el café caliente (añadiendo agua caliente) o limpiar el vaso.
1. Pulse y espere a que el indicador rojo y el verde se enciendan.
2. Gire el selector de vapor completamente hacia la izquierda y coloque una jarra debajo del
vaporizador.
3. Pulse para que la máquina dispense agua.
Advertencia: mantenga el vaporizador dentro de la jarra o el vaso para evitar que el agua
salpique y cause quemaduras.
Calentar bebidas
El vaporizador (sin el tubo espumador) se puede utilizar para calentar bebidas como chocolate,
agua o té.
1. Gire el selector de vapor completamente hacia la izquierda, pulse y espere a que el
indicador rojo y el verde se iluminen de forma fija.
2. Retire el tubo espumador delvaporizador.
3. Introduzca el vaporizador en la bebida que desea calentar. Gire el selector de vapor con
cuidado hacia la izquierda para que la máquina comience a producir vapor.
4. Cuando se haya alcanzado la temperatura requerida, gire el selector de vapor
completamente hacia la derecha.
5. Pulse para parar el vapor.
Aviso: la máquina se apagará automáticamente después de 25 minutos de inactividad, en caso
de que no se haya pulsado el botón on/o.
5. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Apague y desconecte el dispositivo de la toma de corriente y permita que se enfríe antes de
limpiarlo o repararlo.
• Utilice un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar la superficie del producto.
• No utilice productos de limpieza ni esponjas corrosivas o abrasivas a la hora de limpiar el
dispositivo ya que podrían dañar la superficie.
• No sumerja el dispositivo ni ninguna de sus partes no desmontables en agua.
• Limpie el depósito de agua, la bandeja de goteo, el soporte para vasos y las demás partes
desmontables de forma periódica y séquelas antes de colocarlas de nuevo en su posición.
Aviso: para limpiar el filtro y el embudo, gire el embudo hacia la izquierda, tire los restos de café
y enjuáguelo con agua.

Limpieza de los depósitos de minerales
1. Llene el depósito de agua (4/5) y de producto para descalcificar (1/5) hasta la marca MAX.
2. Coloque el embudo y la jarra en su posición, sin café, y lleve a cabo un ciclo de
precalentamiento.
3. Pulse y espere a que el indicador rojo y el verde se enciendan.
4. Pulse y deje que la máquina dispense 2 vasos de agua. Luego, pulse de nuevo para
cerrar la bomba y espere 5 segundos.
5. Coloque la jarra debajo del vaporizador y gire el selector de vapor completamente hacia la
izquierda (al menos 135º).
6. Pulse para que la máquina dispense 2 vasos de agua. Luego, pulse de nuevo para
cerrar la bomba y espere 5 segundos.
7. Reinicie el dispositivo y repita estos pasos hasta que no quede agua en el depósito (al
menos 3 veces).
8. Prepare un café con agua delgrifo hasta la marca MAX, sin café,y repita los pasos anteriores
hasta que no quede agua en el depósito (al menos 3 veces).
6. RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
ADVERTENCIA: no intente reparar dispositivos electrónicos defectuosos por su cuenta.

8. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE) especifica que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados con el resto de
los desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de
forma separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta manera,
reducir el impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto de
forma correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía
eléctrica, esta deberá extraerse antes de ser desechado y ser tratada a parte como un residuo
de diferente categoría. Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada
de desechar sus electrodomésticos y/o las correspondientes baterías, el consumidor deberá
contactar con las autoridades locales.
9. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un
uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado,
expuesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como
cualquier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modificado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por
el SAT oficial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario el
servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación. Si en alguna ocasión detecta
una incidencia con el producto o tiene alguna consulta, póngase en contacto con el Servicio de
Asistencia Técnica oficial de Cecotec a través del número de teléfono [phone].

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual
for future reference or new users.
1. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the
appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
2. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or
any otherliquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sureyour hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
3. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the ocial Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type
of danger.
4. Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp
edges and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang overthe
edge of the working surface or countertop.
5. Turn o and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use and before
cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.
6. This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial or
industrial use. Do not use it outdoors.
7. Place the appliance on a dry, stable, at, heat-resistant surface.
8. Do not use the appliance under the following circumstances:

3. BEFORE USE
ADVERTENCIA: clean the product before the first use in order to remove production residues.
• Pour water into the water tank, do not exceed the “MAX” mark, and place the water tank
in its correct position.
Note: the appliance is provided with a detachable tank for easy cleaning. Fill the water tank
first and then place it in the appliance.
• Place the stainless-steel mesh in the funnel (without coee).
• Place a cup on the cup support. Make sure the steam knob is turned completely
anticlockwise.
• Connect the appliance to a power supply and press . The red indicator will light up
indicating the machine is preheating.
• Press forthe pump to start pumpingwater. To stop it, press again.The preheating
process will be completed when the red and green indicator light turn steady.
• Press for the machine to dispense water.
• Once the machine has finished dispensing water, pour all remaining water away and
clean all the containers thoroughly. Now, the machine is ready to be used.
Warning: when activating the pump for the first time, the appliance may produce some noise
which will disappear after 20 seconds. This is because the machine is releasing air and is
completely normal, it does not aect to the product’s operating.
4. OPERATION
Preheating
It is suggested to preheat the appliance, including the funnel, filter and cup, so the coee flavour
is not aected by the fact of some of the pieces being cold.
1. Remove the detachable tank and open the tank cover to fill it with the desired amount of
water, do not exceed the “MAX” mark in the tank. Place the tank into the appliance properly.
2. Introduce the stainless-steel mesh filter into the funnel, pull the press bar backward, make
sure the funnel’s tube is aligned with the groove in the appliance, then insert the funnel into
the appliance and release the press bar.
3. Fix it firmly in the coee machine by turning it anticlockwise to the “lock” position.
4. Place an espresso cup on the cup support.
5. Connect the machine to the power supply and make sure the steam knob is turned
completely clockwise.
6. Press . The red light indicator will light up, indicating the machine is preheating. Press
again for the pump to start pumping water, and stop it by pressing the same button again.
This process will pump water from the tank to the boiler.

Espresso
1. Remove the funnel by turning it in anticlockwise. Add ground coee to the stainless-steel
filter with the measuring spoon (one spoon of ground coee powder can make about a cup
of coee), then use the measuring spoon to press down the coee.
2. Pull the press bar backward, make sure the funnel’s tube is aligned with the groove in the
appliance, then insert the funnel into the appliance and release the press bar. Fix it firmly in
the coee machine by turning it anticlockwise to the “lock” position.
3. Pour out the hot water from the cup and place the hot cup on the cup support.
4. Press , the red indicator light will turn on. Once the red and green indicators light up
steady, press . The device will start dispensing coee.
5. Press to stop when you have obtained the desired amount of coee. The indicator lights
will turn o and the machine will stop operating.
Warning: do not leave the coee machine unattended during operation as some of the steps
require manual operation.
Milk froth/Cappuccino
1. Prepare a regular espresso in a slightly larger cup. Make sure the steam knob is turned
completely anticlockwise.
2. Press and wait until the red and green indicators light up steady.
• Fill a jug with about 100 grams of milk for each cappuccino to be prepared.
• Turn the steam knob slowly clockwise, the frothing tube will start producing steam.
• Insert the frothing tube into the milk about 2 cm, froth milk while you move the vessel
around un and down.
• Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise when the milk is frothed to your taste.
• Pourthe frothed milkinto the espresso prepared. Sweeten to taste and ifdesired, sprinkle
the froth with a little cocoa powder.
• Press to turn the device o.
Note:
• It is suggested to use whole milk for best-quality results.
• Use a jug not smallerthan 70±5 mm diameter and enough tall,the milk volume willincrease
times 2 when it is frothed.
• Do not use hot milk, always operate the machine with warm milk.
• Do not turn the steam knob quickly, milk could spill and cause burns.
• Always clean the steam outlet with a wet sponge immediately after using it.
• Before brewing another coee, allow the machine to rest for 5 minutes.
Hot water
This function allows keeping coee warm by adding hot water or cleaning the cup.

1. Press and wait until the red and green indicator lights turn on.
2. Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise and place a jug under the steam wand.
3. Press for the machine to dispense hot water.
Warning: keep the steam wand inside the jug or cup in order avoid water from scattering and
causing burns.
Heating drinks
The steam wand (without the frothing tube) can be used to heat beverages like chocolate, water
or tea.
1. Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise and press , wait until the red and green
indicator lights turn on steady.
2. Remove the frothing tube from the steam wand.
3. Introduce the steam wand into the liquid to be heated. Turn the steam knob gently
anticlockwise to start producing steam.
4. When the required temperature is reached, turn the steam knob completely clockwise.
5. Press the steam on/o” to turn the device o.
Note: the machine will automatically turn o after 25 minutes of no operation, unless de on/o
button is pressed.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turn the appliance o, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down before
cleaning it.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product’s housing.
• Do not use anytoxic, corrosive orabrasive cleaning agents or scouring spongesto clean the
device, these can damage the surface.
• Do not immerse the appliance or any of its non-removable parts in water.
• Clean the water tank, drip tray, cup support and other removable parts periodically and dry
them before placing them in their position again.
Note: to clean the filter and funnel, turn the funnel anticlockwise, throw away all coee rests
and rinse with water.
Mineral-deposits cleaning
1. Fill the tank with water (4/5) and descaling product (1/5) to the MAX mark.
2. Place the funnel and the jug in their placewithout coee and carry out the preheating cycle.
3. Press and wait until the red and green light indicators turn on.
4. Press and allow the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press again to close
the pump and wait for 5 seconds.

5. Place the jug under the steam wand and turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise (at
least 135º).
6. Press for the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press again to close the
pump and wait for 5 seconds.
7. Restart the device and repeat these steps until there is no more water left in the tank (at
least 3 times).
8. Brew a coee with tap water up to the MAX mark, without coee powder, and repeat the
before steps untilthere is no more water in the tank (at least 3 times).
