1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar
el producto. Guarde este manual para referencias futuras o
nuevos usuarios.
1. Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje
especicado en la etiqueta de clasicación del producto y de
que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
2. Este producto está diseñado exclusivamente para uso
doméstico.
3. El aparato estará muy caliente durante e inmediatamente
después de funcionar. Utilice guantes o cualquier otro
accesorio de protección conveniente para evitar quemaduras
o lesiones .
4. Utilice el dispositivo siempre sobre una base plana, seca,
estable y resistente al calor.
5. Utiliceunabaseresistentealcalorcuandoutiliceeldispositivo

8. No utilice el dispositivo en el exterior, cerca de placas
eléctricas o de gas, de llamas o dentro de hornos.
9. No utilice el dispositivo si se ha caído al suelo o no funciona
correctamente.
10. Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en
busca de daños visibles. Si el cable presenta daños, debe
ser reparado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica ocial de
Cecotec para evitar cualquier tipo de peligro.
11. No utilice cables alargadores con este producto.
12. Tenga extremado cuidado cuando mueva o transporte el
dispositivo.
13. Apague el dispositivo y desconéctelo de la toma de corriente
en caso de que no vaya a ser utilizado durante un periodo
prolongado de tiempo y antes de limpiarlo. Tire del enchufe
para desconectarlo, no tire del cable.
14. No utilice accesorios que no hayan sido proporcionados o
recomendados por Cecotec ya que podrían dañar el producto
o resultar en un riesgo.

3. ANTES DE USAR
• Saque el producto de la caja.
• Retire todo el material de embalaje. Guarde la caja original.
• Asegúrese de que todos los componentes están incluidos, y si faltara alguno
o no estuvieran en buen estado, contacte con el Servicio de Atención Técnica
oficial de Cecotec inmediatamente.
• Limpie las placas con un paño suave y húmedo.
• Seque cuidadosamente todas las partes del dispositivo con un paño o con papel
absorbente.
• Para conseguir resultados óptimos, cubra ambas placas con un poco de aceite.
Aviso: es posible que, al calentar el aparato por primera vez, aparezca un leve olor a quemado
y humo. Esto es consecuencia de los residuos de los productos de fabricación y no afecta al
funcionamiento del aparato.
4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Preparar el grill
• Cierre el grill y conéctelo a una toma de corriente. El indicador luminoso se encenderá de
color rojo, indicando que el dispositivo está encendido.
• Gire el selector del termostato a la posición deseada. Llévelo a la posición “MIN” para
obtener resultados menos cocinados, o a “MAX” para resultados más cocinados.

El indicador luminoso se encenderá, indicando que el dispositivo ha comenzado a
precalentarse.
Advertencia:se recomienda girar el selector a la posición de temperatura máxima al principio,
y luego ajustarla dependiendo del tipo de alimento.
• Al dispositivo le llevará alrededor de 3-5 minutos alcanzar la temperatura de
funcionamiento óptima. El indicador luminoso se apagará una vez haya alcanzado la
temperatura.
Utilizar el grill de contacto
Advertencia:el dispositivo cuenta con una palanca para alzar la placa superior que permite
ajustarla al grosor de los alimentos a cocinar.
El dispositivo se puede utilizar como grill de contacto para cocinar piezas de carne sin hueso
de forma rápida y eciente, ya que los alimentos se cocinan por ambos lados a la vez.
• Una vez se haya calentado el dispositivo, lleve el selector del termostato a la
posición deseada.
• Abra el grill y coloque las piezas de carne sin hueso, hamburguesas o cualquier
otro corte fino de carne que vaya a cocinar sobre la placa inferior.
• Cierre el grill y, cogiendo del mango, presione la placa superior hacia abajo.
La placa superior debe bajarse al completo para que los alimentos cocinados
tengan las marcas del grill.
• Una vez cocinados, utilice el asa para abrir el grill y utilice una espátula resistente
al calor para retirar los alimentos.
• Cuando haya acabado de cocinar, desconecte el dispositivo de la toma de
corriente y deje las placas abiertas hasta que se enfríe.
Advertencia:no utilice pinzas metálicas ni cuchillos para retirar los alimentos, podrían dañar
la supercie antiadherente.
Utilizar el grill como tostadora
• Una vez se haya calentado el dispositivo, lleve el selector del termostato a la
posición deseada.
• Coloque el sándwich, el pan o la quesadilla sobre la placa inferior, hacie el fondo.
• Cierre el grill y, cogiendo del mango, presione la placa superior hacia abajo. La

placa superior debe bajarse al completo para que los alimentos (sándiwiches,
pan, etc.) se cocinen bien y uniformemente.
• Deje que se cocine/tueste durante 3-6 minutos, dependiendo del tipo de
alimentos y del gusto de cada persona.
• Una vez tostado el pan o el sándwich, utilice el asa para abrir el grill y utilice una
espátula resistente al calor para retirarlos.
Uso de patas extensibles
• Las patas de soporte del dispositivo pueden extenderse para
eliminar más fácilmente la grasa acumulada en la bandeja
recogegrasas.
Utilizar el grill en posición horizontal
El grill se puede utilizar en posición horizontal, con las placas abiertas completamente.
La placa superior se abre y se coloca al mismo nivel que la inferior. Utlizar el grill en
esta posición permite cocinar una gran variedad de alimentos a la vez sin mezclar
los sabores, por ejemplo, cocinar pescado en una placa y carne en la otra. Además,
permite cocinar cada alimento durante el tiempo deseado, independientemente del
resto.
• Coja el asa del grill con la mano izquierda, mantenga pulsado el
botón de apertura de 180º con la mano derecha y levante la placa
superior hasta colocarla en posición horizontal.
• Utilice el grill en esta posición para cocinar hamburguesas, aves,
pescado o verduras. Coloque los alimentos que vaya a cocinar sobre
la placa inferior.
Advertencia:no se recomienda utilizar el grill para cocinar piezas de pollo con hueso.
• Para cerrar el grill de nuevo y devolverlo a su posición original, coja del asa y
cierre la placa superior.

5. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Desconecte de la toma de corriente y apague el dispositivo después de cada uso y antes
de limpiarlo.
• Permita que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo o guardarlo.
• Si quedan alimentos pegados a las placas, vierta unas gotas de agua con jabón sobre
ellos para ablandarlos y utilice una esponja no abrasiva o papel de cocina para retirarlos.
• Utilice un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar la supercie exterior del producto.
• Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua o en otros líquidos.
• No utilice esponjas, polvos o productos de limpieza abrasivos para limpiar el producto.
• No lave el dispositivo en el lavavajillas.
• Extraiga y vacíe la bandeja recogegrasas después de cada uso y lávela con agua tibia
y jabón. Aclare la bandeja, séquela por completo con un trapo suave y seco y vuelva a
colocarla en su lugar.
Almacenamiento
• Desconecte el dispositivo de la toma de corriente antes de guardarlo.
• Asegúrese de que el grill se ha enfriado antes de guardarlo.
• Puede enrollar el cable alrededor de la base delproducto para almacenarlo de forma más
cómoda.

7. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE) especica que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados con el resto de
los desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de
forma separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta
manera, reducir el impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto de
forma correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía

8. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un
uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado, expuesto
a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como cualquier otra falta
atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modicado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por el
SAT ocial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario el
servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
• Make surethat the mainsvoltage matchesthevoltage stated
on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet
is grounded.
• This product is designed only for household use.
• During and after operation, the appliance is likely to get very
hot. Use gloves orother convenient protection accessories in
order to avoid burns and injuries .
• Always use the grill on a at, dry, stable and heat-resistant
surface.
• On surfaces where heat may cause a problem, an insulating
mat is recommended.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any
way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not let
it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of the working surface or countertop.
• Do not operate the appliance outdoors, on or near a gas or
electric hob, in heated ovens or near open ames.

• Do not use this appliance with an extension cord.
• Extreme caution must be taken when moving the appliance.
• Alwaysturn off and disconnect the appliance from the power
supply when not in use or if it is not going to be used for a
long period of time and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug
and not the cord to disconnect it.
• Do not use accessories not provided orsuggested byCecotec,
as these could cause damage to the product or result in risk.
• The appliance is not intended to be used by children, persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack

3. BEFORE USE
• Take the product out of the box.
• Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
• Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise,
contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Clean the plates with a soft, dampened cloth.
• Dry thoroughly all parts of the device with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking
spray.
Warning: A slight odour and smoke might appear when heating the device for the rst time.
This is due to manufacturing materials residues and does not affect the appliance’s operating.
4. OPERATION
Preparing your grill
• Close the grilland connect the plug to a powersupply.The light indicators will turn on red,
indicating the device is now turned on.
• Turn the thermostat knob to select the desired temperature. Set it at “MIN” for light-
coloured results and “MAX” for darker ones. The ready light indicator will turn on indicating
the device has started preheating.
Warning: It is suggested to turn the knob all the way to the maximum setting, and then adjust
temperature depending on the type of food.

Using the contact grill
Warning:The device includes a lift lever that allows adjusting the top plate to the thickness of
each food.
The device can be used as a contact grill for grilling boneless pieces of meat in a fast and
efcient way, as both sides of food are cooked at the same time.
• Once the device has preheated, set the thermostat knob to the desired position.
• Open the grill and place boneless pieces of meat, burgers or any other thin cuts of meat
to be cooked on the bottom plate.
• Close the grill and press down the top plate by the handle. The top plate must be fully
lowered for the cooked food to have grill marks.
• When food is cooked, use the handle to open the grill and use a heatproof spatula to
remove food.
• Once you have nished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave the
unit open until it cools down.
Warning:Never use metal tongs or a knife to remove food as these can cause damage to the
non-stick coating.
Using the grill toaster
• Once the device has preheated, set the thermostat knob to the desired position.
• Place the sandwich, bread or quesadilla on the bottom plate, towards the back.
• Close the grill and press down the bottom plate by the handle. The top plate must be fully
lowered for sandwiches, bread and other similar foods to be cooked properly and evenly.
• Allow it to grill for 3-6 minutes, depending on food and on each one’s taste.
• When the sandwich or bread is cooked, use the handle to open the grill and use a
heatproof spatula to remove food.
Using the extendable feet
• The device’s feet can be extended for fat in the fat drip tray to be
removed easily.
Using the device as an open grill
The grill can be used in a completely opened, at position. The top plate is opened and levelled
with the lower plate. This position allows cooking greater variety of food without mixing
avour, for example, sh on one plate and meat on the other, and allows cooking different
types of food for different cooking times.

• Hold the grill’s handle with your left hand, hold pressed the 180º opening
button with your right hand and lift the top plate by the handle until
completely opened.
• Use the grill in this position to cook burgers, steak, poultry, sh or vegetables.
Place the food to cook over the top or bottom plate.
Warning: It is not recommended to use the grill to cook bone-in chicken.
• To close the grill back to its original position, just hold from the handle and bring the top
plate back to the closed position.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always turn off and unplug the appliance after each use and before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning and storing.
• If there is food stuck to the plates, pour some drops of soapy water for food rests to soften
and then use a non-abrasive sponge or paper towel to remove them.
• Use a soft, dampened cloth to clean the product’s outside surface.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
• Do not wash the device in the dishwasher.
• Remove and empty the fat drip tray after each use and wash the tray in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth and replace.
Storage
• Unplug the device before storage.
• Make sure the grill is cool and dry before storing it.
• The power cord can be wrapped around the bottom of the base for a more comfortable
storage.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), species that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of

separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they
contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose
of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be
removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the
correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
8. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused,
beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any
other fault attributable to the customer.
• The product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired by persons, not authorised by
the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
• The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years,
based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the
warranty will not apply.

4. Utilisez toujours l’appareil sur une surface plate, sèche,
stable et résistante à la chaleur.
5. Utilisez une base résistante à la chaleur lorsque vous utilisez
l’appareil sur des surfaces sensibles aux températures
élevées.
6. Ne submergez pas le câble, la prise ni aucune autre partie
de l’appareil dans de l’eau ni dans aucun autre liquide et
n’exposez pas les connexions électriques à l’eau. Assurez-
vous d’avoir les mains complètement sèches avant de
toucher la prise ou d’allumer l’appareil.
7. Ne tordez pas, ne pliez pas, n’étirez pas et n’abîmez pas le
câble d’alimentation. Protégez-le des bords pointus et des
sources de chaleur. Ne le laissez pas toucher des surfaces

8. N’utilisez pas l’appareil en extérieur, près de plaques
électriques ou à gaz, près de ammes ni dans des fours.
9. N’utilisez pas l’appareil s’il est tombé ou s’il ne fonctionne
pas correctement.
10. Inspectez le câble d’alimentation régulièrement pour
rechercher des dommages visibles. S’il présente des
dommages, il doit être réparé par le Service Après-Vente
Ofciel de Cecotec pour éviter tout type de danger.
11. N’utilisez pas de rallonges avec cet appareil.
12. Faites bien attention lorsque vous déplacez ou transportez
l’appareil.
13. Éteignez l’appareil et débranchez-le de la prise de courant si
vous n’allez pas l’utiliser pendant longtemps et avant de le
nettoyer. Tirez sur la che pour débrancher ; ne tirez pas sur
le câble.
14. N’utilisez pas d’accessoires qui n’aient pas été fournis ou
recommandés par Cecotec, ils pourraient abîmer l’appareil
ou représenter un risque.
15. Cet appareil ne convient pas aux enfants ni aux personnes
aux capacités physiques, mentales ou sensorielles réduites
ou sans expérience ni connaissance.

3. AVANT UTILISATION
• Sortez l’appareil de sa boîte.
• Retirez tout le matériel qui compose l’emballage et conservez la boîte d’origine.
• Assurez-vous que tous les composants soient bien présents. S’il en manque un
ou s’ils ne sont pas en bon état, veuillez contacter le Service Après-Vente Officiel
de Cecotec immédiatement.
• Nettoyez les plaques avec un chiffon propre, doux et humide.
• Séchez soigneusement toutes les parties de l’appareil avec un chiffon propre ou
du papier essuie-tout.
• Pour obtenir des résultats optimaux, recouvrez les plaques avec un peu d’huile.
Avertissement : il est possible que, lorsque l’appareil chauffe pour la première fois, de la fumée
et une légère odeur de brûlée apparaissent. Cela est dû aux résidus des produits servant à la
fabrication de l’appareil et n’affecte en rien le fonctionnement de l’appareil.
4. FONCTIONNEMENT
Préparer l’appareil
• Fermez l’appareil et branchez-le sur une prise de courant. Le témoin lumineux s’allume
en rouge, indiquant que l’appareil est allumé.
• Tournez le sélecteur du thermostat jusqu’à la position souhaitée. Tournez-le jusqu’à la
position « Min » pour obtenir des résultats moins cuits ou « Max » pour des résultats plus

cuits. Le témoin lumineux s’allume, indiquant que l’appareil a commencé à préchauffer.
Note: il est recommandé de tourner le sélecteur jusqu’à la position de température maximale
au début puis de l’ajuster selon le type d’aliment.
• L’appareil tarde 3 à 5 minutes pour atteindre la température de fonctionnement optimale.
Le témoin lumineux s’éteint une fois que la température est atteinte.
Utiliser l’appareil
Note:l’appareil possède un levier pour relever la plaque supérieure, ce qui permet de l’ajuster
à l’épaisseur des aliments à faire cuire.
L’appareil peut être utilisé pour faire cuire des pièces de viande sans os rapidement et
efcacement puisque les aliments se cuisent des deux côtés à la fois.
• Une fois l’appareil préchauffé, tournez le sélecteur du thermostat jusqu’à la position
souhaitée.
• Ouvrez l’appareilet placez les pièces de viande sans os, hamburgers ou tout autretype de
coupe ne de viande que vous souhaitez faire cuire sur la plaque inférieure.
• Fermez l’appareil et, en tenant la poignée, appuyez sur la plaque supérieure vers le bas.
La plaque supérieure doit être complétement abaissée pour que les aliments soient
marqués.
• Une fois cuits, utilisez la poignée pour ouvrir l’appareil et une spatule résistante à la
chaleur pour retirer les aliments.
• Lorsque vous avez ni de cuisiner, débranchez l’appareil de la prise de courant puis
laissez les plaques ouvertes jusqu’à ce qu’il refroidisse.
Note : n’utilisez pas de pinces métalliques ni couteaux pour retirer les aliments, ils pourraient
abîmer la surface antiadhésive.
Utiliser l’appareil comme grille-pain
• Une fois l’appareil préchauffé, tournez le sélecteur du thermostat jusqu’à la position
souhaitée.
• Placez le sandwich ou le pain sur la plaque inférieure, vers le fond.
• Fermez l’appareil et, en tenant la poignée, appuyez sur la plaque supérieure vers le bas.
La plaque supérieure doit être complétement abaissée pour que les aliments (sandwich,
