2. This product uses (2) 1.5v AA batteries. To replace the batteries: Open the hook and loop strap located on the
bottom of the mother turtle. Remove the battery compartment, loosen the screw holding the battery compartment
cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure the
polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product. Replace the battery compartment cover and
secure with the screw. Re-insert the battery compartment into the bottom of the mother turtle. Make sure that the
hook and loop strap is closed securely.
2. Este producto utiliza 2 pilas AA de 1.5 v. Para reemplazar las pilas prosiga lo siguiente: Abra el sujetador de gancho
con pasador ubicado en la parte inferior de la tortuga madre. Retire el compartimiento para pilas, afloje el tornillo que
sujeta la tapa del compartimiento para pilas con un destornillador Phillips y retire la tapa para pilas. Inserte las nuevas
pilas. Verifique para asegurarse de que la polaridad (+/-) de las pilas coincide con las marcas en el producto. Vuelva

1. The Soft and Sprint Turtles can be activated by the child
pressing the back of the mother turtle. The fun movement of
the turtle will stimulate the child to crawl on his hands and
knees. As the mother and baby turtle move, the child can
listen to the fun melody.

This product uses 2 AA 1.5 volt batteries. Batteries must only be fitted by an
adult. Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
• To replace batteries: remove the battery compartment, loosen the screw
holding the battery compartment cover with a Phillips screwdriver and
remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure
the polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product.
Replace the battery compartment cover and secure with the screw.
• Always remove exhausted batteries from the product to avoid damage by
possible battery leakage.
• Always remove batteries when the product is not going to be used for long
periods of time.
• It is recommended to use alkaline batteries of the same type, in this
product.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad)
batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Always dispose of batteries properly.
• Do not short circuit battery terminals.

un adulto. Siempre mantenga las pilas y las herramientas fuera del alcance de
los niños.
• Para reemplazar las pilas prosiga lo siguiente: Retire el compartimiento para
pilas, afloje el tornillo que sujeta la tapa del compartimiento para pilas con
un destornillador Phillips y retire la tapa para pilas. Inserte las nuevas pilas.

níquel-cadmio). No mezcle pilas nuevas con pilas usadas.
• Siempre deseche las pilas en forma apropiada.
• No provoque un cortocircuito en los terminales de las pilas.
