consumpt ons.
Add t onal relay output for pulse output
usage.
Bes des the energy value, the voltage,
current and power measurements of the
ma ns w ll be also d splayed n the screen.
Accord ng to the type, a RS-485
commun cat on system s mplemented (for
data retr eval from a PC). In th s case, the
relay output can be set to work as a pulse or
alarm output.

Whether the nstrument s not used as
manufacturer’s spec f cat ons, the protect on
of the nstrument can be damaged.
Mount ng :
The nstrument s to be mounted onto a DIN
ra l. All w r ng connect ons keep ns de the
sw tchboard cab net.
Note that w th the nstrument powered on,
the term nals, cover open ng act ons or
elements removal may allow access ng
dangerous parts. The nstrument must not
be used unt l th s s completely nstalled.
The mon tored l ne should be prov ded w th a
c rcu t breaker or any equ valent element
(fuses) to d sconnect the nstrument from the
power supply network. Th s sw tch ng dev ce
must be placed near the nstrument and w ll
be eas ly access ble.
The nstrument s d rectly power
suppl ed from the cables cross ng the
MK-LCD. The power supply and
voltage-current measur ng c rcu t must
be w red w th cables of appropr ate
cross-sect on accord ng to the current
flow ng through the MK-LCD.

4.- Operatio mode
The MK-LCD has a total value counter
and a part al value counter (a “P” letter
goes before th s latest counter n
d splay).
A push-button enables the user to
perform the follow ng act ons:
• D splay of max mum values: Press ng
the button for less than 3 seconds.
• Reset the part al energy counter to
zero: Press ng the button for more
than 3 seconds.
5.- MAINTENANCE
Before any adjustment, replacement,
ma ntenance or repa r ng operat on s
carr ed out, the nstrument must be
d sconnected from any power supply
source.
When any protect on fa lure s
suspected to ex st, the nstrument must
be mmed ately put our of serv ce. The
nstrument’s des gn allow a qu ck
replacement n case of any fa lure. In
th s case contact a qual f ed serv ce
representat ve.
