• Die Verpackung wird als wirksamer

benötigt. Sie ist aus umweltverträg-
licher, wiederverwertbarer Wellpappe
hergestellt. Schützende Kunststoff-
materialien sind aus Polyethylen (PE)
und können als Wertstoff wieder-
verwendet werden.
• Die Kunstoffteile des Gerätes sind
mit einer Materialkennzeichnung
versehen, um sie am Ende Ihrer
Lebensdauer getrennt der Wieder-
verwertung zuzuführen. Die
erwähnten Materialien sind Wertstoffe
und bei sauberer Trennung zu 100%
recyclingfähig.

Montage, erste Inbetriebnahme und
Wartung dieses Gerätes dürfen nur
durch einen anerkannten Fachhand-
werksbetrieb erfolgen, der dabei für
die Beachtung der bestehenden
Normen und Installationsvorschrif-
ten voll verantwortlich ist.
Wir übernehmen keine Haftung für
Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung
dieser Anleitung entstehen.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, nachdem
es korrekt installiert wurde und wenn
es sich in technisch einwandfreiem
Zustand befindet.
• Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme sowie
nach jeder Entleerung (z.B. durch
Arbeiten in der Wasserinstallation oder
wegen Frostgefahr oder Wartung)
muss das Gerät gemäß den Hinweisen
auf Seite 15 entlüftet werden.
• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät, ohne
vorher die Stromzufuhr zum Gerät
dauerhaft unterbrochen zu haben.
• Nehmen Sie am Gerät oder an den
Elektro- und Wasserleitungen keine
technischen Änderungen vor.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Haus-
gebrauch und ähnliche Zwecke
innerhalb geschlossener und frostfreier
Räume geeignet und darf nur zum
Erwärmen von Trinkwasser verwendet
werden.
• Beachten Sie, daß Wassertemperaturen
über 43 °C besonders bei Kindern als
heiß empfunden werden und ein
Verbrennungsgefühl hervorrufen
können. Bedenken Sie, daß nach
längerer Durchlaufzeit auch die
Armaturen entsprechend heiß werden.
• Im Störungsfall schalten Sie sofort die
Sicherungen aus. Bei einer
Undichtigkeit am Gerät schließen Sie
sofort die Kaltwasserzuleitung. Lassen
Sie die Störung nur vom Werks-
kundendienst oder einem anerkannten
Fachhandwerksbetrieb beheben.

• Do not use the appliance until it has
been correctly installed and unless it is
in perfect working order.
• Before commissioning for the first time
and each time the appliance is
emptied (e.g. due to work on the
plumbing system, if there is a risk of
frost or in case of maintenance), the
appliance should be vented in
accordance with the instructions on
page 15.
• Do not remove the front cover under
any circumstances before switching off
the mains electrical supply to the unit.
• Never make technical modifications,
either to the appliance itself or the
electrical leads and water pipes.
• The appliance is only suitable for
domestic use and similar applications
inside closed, frost-free rooms, and
must only be used to heat drinking
water.
• Pay attention to the fact that water
temperatures in excess of 43 °C are
perceived as hot, especially by
children, and may cause a feeling of
burning. Please note that the fittings
may be very hot, when the appliance
has been in use for some time.
• In case of malfunction, disconnect the
fuses immediately. In case of leaks, cut
off the cold water supply immediately.
Repairs must only be carried out by
the customer service department or an
authorised professional.

Der Durchlauferhitzer DLX ist ein
mikroprozessorgesteuerter, druckfester
Durchlauferhitzer zur dezentralen
Warmwasserbereitung an einer oder
mehreren Zapfstellen.
Die Elektronik regelt die Leistungs-
aufnahme in Abhängigkeit von der
gewählten Auslauftemperatur, der
jeweiligen Einlauftemperatur und der
Durchflussmenge, um die eingestellte
Temperatur genau zu erreichen und bei
Druckschwankungen konstant zu halten.
Die gewünschte Auslauftemperatur
kann durch Tastendruck zwischen
35 °C und 55 °C eingegeben und an der
Leuchtbalkenanzeige abgelesen werden.
Durch -Control bleibt
die Auslauftemperatur stets konstant.
Multiple Power System:
Die Nennleistung (max. Leistungsauf-
nahme) beträgt 24 kW 400 V und ist
durch einen internen Schalter auf 21 kW
oder 18 kW begrenzbar.

The instantaneous water heater DLX is
a microprocessor-controled, pressure-
resistant water heater for a decentralised
water supply to one or more taps.
Its electronic control regulates its
power consumption as a function of
the selected outlet temperature, the
respective inlet temperature and the
flow rate, thus reaching the set
temperature exactly to the degree and
keeping the pressure constant in the
event of fluctuations. The required outlet
temperature can be entered on a keypad
within a range between 35 °C and 55 °C
and can be read off the bar chart display.
Via -Control the
outlet temperature remains constant.
Multiple Power System:
The rated capacity (max.power) is
24 kW 400 V. Restriction of power rating
possible to 21 kW or 18 kW by an
internal switch.

• Um Wärmeverluste zu vermeiden,
sollte die Entfernung zwischen
Durchlauferhitzer und Zapfstelle
möglichst gering sein.
• Für Wartungsarbeiten sollte in der
Zuleitung ein Absperrventil installiert
werden.
• Es können Wasserleitungen aus Kupfer
oder Stahl eingesetzt werden.
Kunstoffrohre dürfen nur verwendet

Installation site
• The installation site must be free from

• The appliance complies with pro-
tection type IP25 and may therefore
be installed in protection zone 1

• In order to avoid thermal losses, the
distance between the instantaneous
water heater and the tapping point
should be as small as possible.
• For maintenance work, a shut-off
valve should be installed in the supply
line.
• Copper or steel connecting pipes may
be used. Plastic pipes may only be
used if they conform to

gen müssen wärmegedämmt sein.
• Der spezifische Widerstand des
Wassers muss bei 15 °C mindestens
1100 Ω cm betragen.
Wandhalter montieren
Wenn Sie den Durchlauferhitzer DLX im
Austausch gegen ein anderes Fabrikat
montieren, müssen in der Regel keine
neuen Löcher für den Wandhalter
gebohrt werden. In diesem Fall brauchen
Sie nur die Einschraubnippel (19) wie
unter 2. beschrieben einzuschrauben und
den Wandhalter zu montieren.
1.Spülen Sie die Wasserzuleitungen vor
der Installation gründlich durch, um
Schmutz aus den Leitungen zu
entfernen.
2.Schrauben Sie die Einschraubnippel
(19) mit einem 12 mm Innensechs-
kantschlüssel in die beiden Wand-
anschlüsse. Der Überstand der
Einschraubnippel muss nach dem
Festziehen 12 mm betragen.
3.Halten Sie die mitgelieferte Montage-
schablone an die Wand und richten Sie
sie so aus, daß die Löcher in der
Schablone über die Anschlüsse passen.
Zeichnen Sie die Bohrlöcher ent-
sprechend der Schablone an und
bohren Sie die Löcher mit einem
6 mm–Bohrer. Setzen Sie die
mitgelieferten Dübel ein und
schrauben Sie den Wandhalter (9) an.
4.Fliesenversatz oder Unebenheiten
lassen sich bis zu 30 mm durch die
mitgelieferten Distanzhülsen
ausgleichen. Die Distanzhülsen
werden zwischen Wand und
Wandhalter (9) montiert. Je nach
Versatz sind die kurzen oder langen
Befestigungsschrauben zu verwenden.

Installing the wall holder
If you install the instantaneous water
heater DLX instead of a conventional
instantaneous water heater, there is
generally no need to drill holes for the
wall holder. In this case, you only need to
screw in the double nipples (19) as
described in 2. and to secure the wall
holder.
1.Thoroughly rinse the water supply
pipes before installation to remove
soiling from the pipes.
2.Using a 12 mm hexagon socket screw
key, screw the screw-in nipples (19)
into the wall connections. After
tightening, the double nipples must
protrude by 12 mm.
3.Hold the included mounting template
on the wall and align it so that the
holes in the template fit over the
connections. Mark the drill holes
according to the template and drill
them using a 6 mm drill. Insert the
included dowels and screw in the wall
holder (9).
4.Offset tiling or uneven surfaces can be
compensated by up to 30 mm with the
aid of the spacers supplied. The
spacers are fitted between the wall
and wall holder (9). Long or short
fastening screws must be used,
depending on the magnitude of the
offset.

Installing connection pieces
1. As shown in the illustration, screw the
cold water connection piece (18) with
the union nut and the 1/2" seal onto
the cold water connection.
2.Screw the hot water connection piece
(1) with the union nut and the 1/2"
seal onto the hot water connection.
Installing the appliance
1.To open the appliance hood, undo
the hood securing screw.
• When replacing an appliance, the
electrical power supply cable may
already be connected in the upper part
of the appliance. ODX, a set of wiring
(no. 82190) with cable seal (no. 82180)
- available from our service - simplifys
the upper electrical connection. In such
a case, but only then, press against the
prepared breaking point (S) with a
blunt implement (e.g. screwdriver).
• Slit the grommet to match the cable
size. The opening in the grommet
should be slightly smaller than the
cross-section of the cable in order to
ensure optimum protection against
water. Fit the grommet into the
opening.
• Strip the cable roughly 6 cm above the
point where it emerges from the wall.
Hold the prepared appliance so that
you can route the cable into the
grommet with the other hand.
2.Place the appliance on the heater
carrier (9) so that the threaded rod of
the wall holder fits in the hole on the
appliance. If necessary, slight
corrections are possible by carefully
bending the outlet pipe. However, it
must be possible to screw on the
water connection pipes of the
appliance without applying force.
Anschlussstücke installieren
1.Schrauben Sie gemäß Abbildung das
Kaltwasseranschlussstück (18) mit
Überwurfmutter und der 1/2“-
Dichtung an den Kaltwasseranschluss.
2.Schrauben Sie das Warmwasser-
anschlussstück (1) mit Überwurf-
mutter und der 1/2“- Dichtung an den
Warmwasseranschluss.
Gerät montieren
1.Zum Öffnen des Gehäuses die
Haubenschraube lösen.
• Im Austauschfall kann es vorkommen,
daß die Elektrozuleitung im oberen
Gerätebereich vorhanden ist. Für
solchen Fall ermöglicht der über den
Kundendienst erhältliche Kabelsatz
ODX Nr. 82190 mit Durchführungstülle
Nr. 82180 den problemlosen
Elektroanschluss. Nur dann öffnen
Sie die Sollbruchstelle (S) an der
Prägung durch kräftigen Druck mit
einem stumpfen Werkzeug
(z.B. Schraubendreher).
• Schneiden Sie die Durchführungstülle
entsprechend dem Zuleitungsquer-
schnitt auf. Dabei soll die Öffnung in
der Tülle etwas kleiner als der
Querschnitt des Kabels sein, um einen
optimalen Schutz gegen Wasser zu
erzielen. Passen Sie die Tülle in den
Durchbruch ein.
• Manteln Sie das Elektrokabel ungefähr
60 mm über dem Wandaustritt ab.
Nehmen Sie das vorbereitete Gerät so
in die Hand, daß Sie mit der anderen
Hand das Kabel in die Gummitülle
führen können.
2.Setzen Sie das Gerät auf den Wand-
halter (9), so daß die Gewindestange
des Wandhalters in das vorgesehene
Loch des Gerätes paßt. Durch vor-
sichtiges Biegen des Auslaufrohres
lassen sich gegebenenfalls kleine
Korrekturen vornehmen. Die Wasser-
anschlussleitungen des Gerätes müs-
sen sich jedoch ohne Gewaltan-
wendung anschrauben lassen.

3.Schrauben Sie die beiden 3/8“-
Überwurfmuttern der Wasser-
anschlussleitungen des Gerätes jeweils
mit der 3/8“-Dichtung auf die
installierten Anschlussstücke.
4.Schrauben Sie die Kunstoffrändel-
mutter (9) auf die Gewindestange des
Wandhalters.
5.Öffnen Sie die Wasserzuleitung und
drehen Sie das Absperrventil (18c) im
Kaltwasseranschlussstück langsam auf
(Pos.I). Prüfen Sie alle Verbindungen
auf Dichtigkeit.
6.Öffnen und schließen Sie danach
mehrfach das zugehörige
Warmwasserzapfventil bis keine Luft
mehr aus der Leitung austritt und der
Durchlauferhitzer luftfrei ist.
3.Screw the two 3/8" union nuts of the
appliance's water connection pipes,
each with the 3/8" seal, onto the
fittings.
4.Screw the plastic knurled nut (9) onto
the threaded rod of the wall holder.
5.Open the water supply line to the unit
and slowly open the shut-off valve
(18c) in the cold water connection
piece (Pos.I). Check all connections for
leaks.
6.Next, open and close the hot water
tapping valve several times until no
more air emerges from the line and all
air has been eliminated from the
instantaneous water heater.
Bei Direktzapfung sind die beiden 1/2“
Einschraubnippel (19) und die 1/2“ Dich-
tungen mit den 1/2“ Überwurfmuttern
des Warmwasser- (1) und Kaltwasser-
anschlussstückes (18) zu verschrauben.
Die beiden 1/2“ Blindkappen der
seitlichen Abgänge des Warm- (1) und
Kaltwasseranschlussstückes (18) sind zu
demontieren und mit dem offenen Ende
der Einschraubnippel (19) zu
verschrauben. Die Warm- und
Kaltwasseranschlussstücke sind dann
mit den 3/8“ Dichtungen an die 3/8“
Überwurfmutter des Gerätes und
Auslaufrohres zu verschrauben.
Bei Direktzapfung ist es sinnvoll, das
Gerät mittels der mitgelieferten
Distanzhülsen gemäß nebenstehender
Zeichnung auf Abstand zu montieren.
Dabei ist zu beachten, daß auch die
beiden Befestigungsbohrungen im
unteren Rohranschlussbereich benutzt
werden.
Die Bördelseite der Rohre sind mit 1/2“
Überwurfmuttern und 1/2“ Dichtungen
an die seitlichen 1/2“ Abgänge des
Warm- (1) und Kaltwasseranschluss-
stückes zu schrauben.
Abschließend sind die Ausbrüche für die
Rohre in der Haube mit einem stumpfen
Gegenstand herauszubrechen.
For direct connection, the two 1/2"
screw-in nipples (19) and the 1/2" seals
must be screwed into the 1/2" union
nuts of the hot-water (1) and cold-water
(18) connectors. The two 1/2" caps of
the side outlets of the hot-water (1) and
cold-water (18) connectors must be
removed and screwed onto the open end
of the screw-in nipples (19). The hot-
water and cold-water connectors must
then be screwed into the 3/8" union nut
of the appliance and delivery pipe,
together with the 3/8" seals.
For direct connection, it is advisable to
mount the appliance at a distance as
illustrated alongside, using the spacer
sleeves supplied. It should therefore be
noted that the two fixing holes near the

Bauliche Voraussetzungen
• Das Gerät muss über einen festen
Anschluss installiert werden und darf
nur mit Schutzmaßnahmen gegen zu

2.Lösen Sie die Schraube am Deckel der

wieder mit der Verschlussschraube.
5.Setzen Sie die Abdeckhaube
auf das Gerät und drehen Sie
die Befestigungsschraube ein.

das Gerät und drehen Sie die
Befestigungsschraube ein.

11 Erstinbetriebnahme Initial operation
1.Vor dem elektrischen Anschluss das
Leitungsnetz und das Gerät durch
mehrfaches, langsames Öffnen und
Schließen des Warmwasser-Zapfven-
tiles mit Wasser füllen und so vollstän-
dig entlüften. Nach jeder Entleerung
(z.B. nach Arbeiten in der Wasser-
installation, wegen Frostgefahr oder
nach Reparaturen am Gerät) muss das
Gerät vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme
erneut entlüftet werden.
2.Schalten Sie die Stromzufuhr zum
Gerät ein. Die Balkenanzeige am Gerät
muss leuchten.
3.Öffnen Sie das Warmwasserzapfventil.
Das Gerät nimmt den Betrieb auf und
gibt Leistung ab.
4.Überprüfen Sie die Funktion des
Durchlauferhitzers und machen Sie
den Benutzer mit dem Gebrauch
vertraut bei gleichzeitiger Übergabe
dieser Anleitung.
5.Füllen Sie die Registrierkarte aus und
senden diese an den Zentralkunden-
dienst.
Durchflussmengenbegrenzer
(DMB) beachten!
1.Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Durchfluss-
mengenbegrenzer (20) 8 l/min
ausgestattet, um eine Temperatur-
erhöhung von ∆t = 37,5 K bei
Nennleistung 21 kW zu gewährleisten.
2.Sofern bei Leistung 24 kW ein höherer
Durchfluss gewünscht wird, kann der
DMB durch einen DMB 9 l/min ersetzt
oder entfernt werden.
Sofern bei Leistung 18 kW die
Temperaturerhöhung nicht
ausreichend ist, kann der DMB durch
einen DMB 7 l/min ersetzt werden.

Observe flow control!
1.This heater is fitted with a flow
limiter (20) 8 l/min, in order to
guarantee an increase in temperature
of ∆t = 37.5 K at a rated power

Energiespartipp
Stellen Sie die gewünschte Temperatur
genau am Gerät ein und öffnen Sie nur
das Warmwasserzapfventil. Wenn Ihnen
die Wassertemperatur zu hoch ist,
mischen Sie kein kaltes Wasser zu,
sondern geben Sie am Gerät eine
niedrigere Temperatur ein. Wenn Sie
nämlich kaltes Wasser zumischen, wird
das bereits erwärmte Wasser wieder
abgekühlt und es geht wertvolle Energie
verloren. Ausserdem entzieht sich das in
der Armatur zugemischte Kaltwasser
dem Regelungsbereich der Elektronik, so
daß die Temperaturkonstanz bei
gleichzeitiger Benutzung mehrerer
Zapfstellen nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.

Setting the temperature
• You can set the required temperature
in increments to a higher or lower
value with the arrow keys and .
The required temperature is indicated

How to save energy
Set the exact temperature you need on
the appliance and open the hot water
tap. Once you feel that the water is too
hot, do not add any cold water and,
instead, enter a lower temperature on
the appliance. If you were to add cold
water, the water already heated would
cool down again and valuable energy
would be wasted. Moreover, the cold
water added in the tap is not covered by
the control range of the electronic
circuitry, with the result that temperature
constancy is no longer guaranteed when
using several taps at once.

Entlüften nach Wartungs-
arbeiten
Der Durchlauferhitzer DLX ist mit einer
automatischen Luftblasenerkennung
ausgestattet, die ein versehentliches
Trockenlaufen verhindert. Trotzdem muss
das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
entlüftet werden. Nach jeder Entleerung
(z.B. nach Arbeiten in der Wasser-
installation, wegen Frostgefahr oder
nach Reparaturen am Gerät) muss das
Gerät vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme
erneut entlüftet werden.
1.Trennen Sie den Durchlauferhitzer
vom Netz, indem Sie die Sicherungen
ausschalten.
2.Schrauben Sie den Perlator an der
Entnahmearmatur ab und öffnen Sie
zunächst das Kaltwasserzapfventil, um
die Wasserleitung sauberzuspülen und
eine Verschmutzung des Gerätes oder
des Perlators zu vermeiden.
3.Öffnen und schließen Sie danach
mehrfach das zugehörige Warm-
wasserzapfventil, bis keine Luft
mehr aus der Leitung austritt und
der Durchlauferhitzer luftfrei ist.
4.Erst dann dürfen Sie die Stromzufuhr
zum Durchlauferhitzer wieder
einschalten und den Perlator wieder
einschrauben.
Venting after maintenance
work
The instantaneous water heater DLX
features an automatic air bubble
protection to prevent it from
inadvertently running dry. Nevertheless,
the appliance must be vented before
using it for the first time. Each time the
appliance is emptied (e.g. after work on
the plumbing system, if there is a risk of
frost or following repair work), the
appliance must be revented before it is
used again.
1.Disconnect the instantaneous water
heater from the mains by disactivating
the fuses.
2.Unscrew the perlator on the outlet
fitting and open the cold water tap
valve to rinse out the water pipe and
avoid contaminating the appliance or
the perlator.
3.Next, open and close the hot water
tap valve several times until no more
air emerges from the pipe and all air
has been eliminated from the
instantaneous water heater.
4.Only then should you re-connect the
power supply to the instantaneous
water heater and screw the perlator
back in.

use abrasive cleaning agents or

• For a good water supply, the outlet
fittings (perlators and shower heads)
should be unscrewed and cleaned at
regular intervals. Every three years, the
electrical and plumbing components
should be inspected by an authorised
professional in order to ensure proper
functioning and operational safety at
all times.

14 Wartungsarbeiten Maintenance
Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nur von
einem anerkannten Fach handwerks-
betrieb durchgeführt werden.
Reinigung und Wechsel des
Filtersiebes
Der Kaltwasseranschluss des Durchlauf-
erhitzers DLX ist mit einem integrierten
Absperrventil und Sieb ausgestattet.
Durch Verschmutzung des Siebes kann
die Warmwasserleistung vermindert
werden, so daß die Reinigung
beziehungsweise der Austausch des
Siebes wie folgt vorzunehmen ist:
1.Schalten Sie den Durchlauferhitzer an
den Haussicherungen spannungsfrei
und sichern Sie diese gegen unbeab-
sichtigtes Wiedereinschalten.
2.Nach Öffnen der Gerätehaube drehen
Sie das Absperrventil (18c) im Kalt-
wasseranschlussstück zu (Position II).
3.Drehen Sie die Verschlussschraube
(18b) aus dem Kaltwasseranschluss-
stück und nehmen Sie das Sieb (18a)
heraus.
4.Das Sieb (18a) kann nun gereinigt
beziehungsweise ersetzt werden.
5.Nach Einbau des Siebes drehen Sie
die Verschlussschraube (18b) fest.
6.Drehen Sie das Absperrventil (18c)
im Kaltwasseranschlussstück
langsam auf (Position I).
7.Entlüften Sie das Gerät, indem Sie
das zugehörige Warmwasserzapfventil
mehrfach langsam öffnen und
schließen, bis keine Luft mehr aus der
Leitung austritt.
8.Setzen Sie die Gerätehaube auf.
Danach schalten Sie die Spannung an
den Haussicherungen wieder ein.
Hinweis:Bei einer Aufputz-Installation
ist die Funktion des Absperrventils nicht
gegeben.

Cleaning and replacing the
filter strainer
The cold water connection of the
instantaneous water heater DLX is
equipped with an integrated shut-off
valve and a strainer. Soiling of the
strainer may reduce the warm water
output. Clean or replace the strainer as
follows:
1.Deenergise the instantaneous water
heater by means of the house fuses
and prevent inadvertent reactivation
of them.
2.After opening the hood of the unit,
close the shut-off valve (18c) in the
cold water connection piece
(position II).
3.Unscrew the screw plug (18b) from
the cold water connection piece and
take out the strainer (18a).
4.The strainer (18a) can be cleaned or
replaced.
5.After fixtur of the strainer tighten the
screw plug (18b).
6.Slowly open the shut-off valve (18c)
in the cold water connection piece
(position I).
7.Vent the unit by carefully opening and
closing the affiliated warm water tap
valve several times until air no longer
emerges from the pipe.
8.Fit the hood of the unit.Then
reconnect the voltage to the house
fuses.
Note:The shut-off valve is without
function in a surface-mounted
installation.

Ihr Durchlauferhitzer DLX wurde sorgfältig hergestellt und vor der Auslieferung
mehrfach überprüft. Tritt ein Problem auf, so liegt es oft nur an einer Kleinigkeit.
Schalten Sie zunächst die Sicherungen aus und wieder ein, um die Elektronik
“zurückzusetzen”. Prüfen Sie dann, ob Sie das Problem mit Hilfe der folgenden
Tabelle selbst beheben können. Sie vermeiden dadurch die Kosten für einen

Abroad, the corresponding guarantee terms are based on the contractual General Terms of Sale and Delivery resp. on the statutory
terms of guarantee of each country. Statutory warranty rights (after performance, rescission, liability and reduction) are not
affected by this guarantee. This guarantee statement shall be considered as voluntary from the manufacturer.
From the date of purchase, CLAGE grants a 24 months' Guarantee period for your privately used hot water appliance and
12 months for commercial use on condition that the Certificate of guarantee delivered with the unit is duly completed, stamped
and dated by the dealer. The latter shall be presented together with the purchase document when claiming under guarantee.
We recommend that the guarantee certificate card be sent to CLAGE Lueneburg for registration after installation of the unit.
The guarantee does not cover damage or malfunctions due to the build-up of scale, frost, chemicals or electromechanical process,
from incorrect use, incorrect installation, dirt in the inlet and outlet pipes, non-compliance with the operating instructions or
unauthorised modification of the heater. Furthermore, the guarantee shall not cover any normal abrasion of the appliance.
In the event of a damage/claim, we are to be informed in writing within 14 days after recognition of the fault. After receipt, we
check if a legitimate guarantee claim is justified. If notice of defects has been given in good time and is justified, CLAGE shall
decide how the damage/claim is to be rectified, either by an authorised after-sales partner or by CLAGE central customer service.
16 Guarantee terms
Your instantaneous water heater DLX was manufactured conscientiously and checked
several times before delivery. Should malfunctions nevertheless occur, attempt first to
remedy the problem with reference to the following table. In doing so, you will avoid
the unnecessary expense of customer service assistance.
