Safety
- This product must be repaired by qualied service personnel only.
- This product must not be disassembled or altered.
- Do not place this product so that it can fall into water or other
liquid. Nor should you place any objects containing liquid, such as
vases or sodas, on the product.
- Make sure the mains socket is easily accessible since the power
cord plug functions as a circuit breaker.
- Do not cover the product. Sufcient ventilation, at least 15
cm between the ventilation hole and surrounding surfaces is
necessary to prevent the device from overheating.
- Always unplug the clock radio before cleaning.
- Do not place the device in a humid, damp environment or where it
is exposed to strong vibrations.
- Always remove the battery for periods of prolonged non-use. The
battery may begin to leak and can cause damage to the device,
person or property.

Getting started
Inserting backup battery
The backup battery allows the clock to retain its the time settings when
power is lost. If a backup battery is not used, the clock will reset itself
each time it is unplugged.
1. Open the battery cover on the clock radio’s underside.
2. Insert a 9-volt battery (not included) and replace the battery cover.
Always remove the battery for periods of prolonged non-use. The bat-
tery may begin to leak and can cause damage to the device, person or
property.
Plugging in the clock radio
1. Plug in the clock radio to a mains socket.
2. Make sure the mains socket is easily accessible since the power
cord plug functions as a circuit breaker.
Setting the time
When plugging in the clock radio for the rst time, 0:00 will ash on the
display. The ashing will stop once you begin setting the time.
1. Press and hold the TIME button while repeatedly pressing the
HOUR button to set the hours.
2. Press and hold TIME button while repeatedly pressing the
MINUTE button to set the minutes.

Operation
Listening to the radio
1. Set the band selector to the desired band: AM or FM.
2. Turn the volume dial clockwise until you hear a click thereby
turning on the radio.
3. Set the function selector to ON.
4. Select the desired radio station with the frequency selector and
adjust the volume with the volume control.
5. Set the function selector to OFF to turn off the radio.
For FM: Unroll the wire antenna and position it to achieve the best
possible reception.
For AM: The device is equipped with a built-in antenna therefore mak-
ing the wire antenna unnecessary for AM listening. Adjust this antenna
by turning the entire device.
Setting the alarm
1. Press and hold the ALARM button while repeatedly pressing the
HOUR button to set the HOURS.
2. Press and hold the ALARM button while repeatedly pressing the
MINUTES button to set the MINUTES.
Checking the set alarm time
- Press and hold the ALARM button to see the set alarm time.
Waking up to the radio
1. Set the function selector to ON to set the desired radio station and
volume. Set the function selector to AUTO. The alarm indicator
will now shine.
2. Set the desired alarm time by following the instructions above.
3. When the alarm time has been reached, the radio will come on at
the desired station and volume.

4. To turn off the radio, press ALARM once. The radio will be turned
off but the alarm will still be active and will start the radio again at
the same time the coming day.
5. Set the function selector to OFF if you do not want the alarm to
start the radio again the coming day. The alarm indicator will be unlit.
Waking up to the alarm signal
1. Set the function selector to AUTO. The alarm indicator will now
shine to indicate that the alarm is active.
2. Turn the volume dial clockwise until you hear a click. The radio has
now been turned off and the alarm signal deactivated.
3. When the alarm time has been reached the alarm will sound.
4. To turn off the alarm press ALARM. The alarm will turn itself off
but the alarm will still be active and will start the radio again at the
same time the coming day.
5. Set the function selector to OFF if you do not want the alarm to
start the radio again the coming day. The alarm indicator will be unlit.
Snooze
- When the alarm sounds or starts the radio, press the SNOOZE
button to activate the snooze function. The alarm signal/radio will
go silent but reactivate itself after 9 minutes.
- To turn off the alarm completely, set the function selector to OFF.
The alarm indicator will go dark.
Sleep (automatic radio shut-off)
The radio can be set to automatically shut itself off after a specied time.
1. Set the function selector to ON to set the desired radio station and
volume. Now set the function selector to OFF or AUTO.
2. Press SLEEP once. The display will show ”0:59” as long as the
button is pressed.
3. This shut-off time can be increased by keeping SLEEP pressed
and pressing the HOUR button once. The display will now show
1:59.

4. Decrease the time for automatic shut-off by holding the SLEEP
button pressed and pressing the MINUTE button repeatedly.
Release these buttons once the display shows the desired time.
5. Press SNOOZE once to turn off the radio before automatic shut off
activates.
Care and maintenance
- Always unplug the clock radio before cleaning.
- Clean with a soft moist cloth. Never use cleaning agents or strong
solvents.
- Always remove the battery when not using the clock radio for a
prolonged period of time.

Follow local regulations when disposing of this product. If you are
uncertain, contact your municipality.
