Step 1: Parts List & Bike Preparation
Note: Motorcycle needs to be running before the lights will function.
Bike Preparation:
• First, park the motorcycle on hard pavement or concrete to insure the bike
will be stable during the installation. Put the motorcycle on a center-stand
with tie-down straps, this will help secure the motorcycle.
• Follow the manufacturers guidelines for disconnecting the battery. This
is important to prevent damage to the electrical system.

Introducing the new Dixi, Clearwater Lights’most powerful (consumer) light yet!
This light consists of two separate light sets built into one housing. They are avail-
able in single unit sets or as a pair.
Dixi’s center light is similar to, but more powerful than, Darla. This light utilizes
a new control circuit that provides 3,300 lumens at the highest setting. It is a
driving pattern light, incorporating 75% of the light in a 15-degree cone, with the
remaining 25% in a 45-degree cone. The purpose of this center light is twofold.
It is a conspicuity light that can be adjusted with either our CANopener system
or our rotary controller. It is also a powerful motorcycle beam light that covers a
wide path with visible light, making you more noticeable to other motorists. The
outer light is a long-range driving light similar to Sevina, providing a 7,000-lumen
spot light that utilizes only 70 watts. With Dixi, you essentially get a Sevina and an
even more powerful Darla in one housing, providing 10,000 lumens on the high-
est setting!
Each light can be controlled separately, or as a group. Most applications will opt
for the controllable Darla center and a FULL POWER Sevina on high beam.

Step 2: Mounting The Lights / Crash Bar Mount
Mounting The Lights: (Crash Bar)
Mounting the Lights to the Crash Bar is very simple. Mount
bracket loosely with the supplied parts. Locate where you would like the
light to be pointing and the orientation of either on top or hanging below
the bar. Snug the bolts on the clamp and adjust the alignment of your
lights as desired.
The lights can be mounted to crash bars with an intermediate
L-shaped bracket, or without. See the diagrams below
Crash Bar mount with L-bracketCrash Bar mount without L-bracket

Page 5
Step 3: Mounting The Volume Control Knob
Page 4
There are three ways to mount the volume control knob: 1) attaching it to the
handlebars with the provided M5x30mm screw and #7 spacer (most BMW’s), 2)
drilling a hole in the fairing, or 3) mounting to a handlebar clamp.
*NOTE*The hardware for options 2 & 3 are only available upon request
Mounting Volume Control Knob Bracket:
(M5x30mm Screw Mount)
• Mount the volume control knob to handlebar by using supplied bracket,
spacer and bolt. (Fig. 1)
• Try to route wires from lights and volume control knob along pre-existing
wires. Make connections in a waterproof area.
Mounting Volume Control Knob Bracket: (Fairing Mount)
•Mount the volume control knob in fairing by drilling a 5/16” hole and
mounting control with attachment nut. (Fig. 2)
• Check for minimum 2”clearance behind panel to allow for circuit board
and wire.
• Double check the t of parts before drilling your panel. Measure twice,
drill once.
• Tighten nut (be sure not to over tighten and Install rubber knob over
volume control knob with press t.
• Mount the volume control knob to
handlebar by using supplied bracket,
bolt and clamp.
Mounting Volume Control Knob Bracket:
(Handle Bar Clamp)
• Hint for High Vibration installations: To keep the Volume Control Knob from
rotating itself under high vibration, put a dab of silicone adhesive under the knob
and let it dry. Then push the rubber knob back on. The friction of the glue under
the knob will keep it in place.

Page 6
Step 4: Wiring
Electrical:
• (1) Mount the power relay box in a safe location. Secure with a zip tie. (It
is a good idea to face the relay box with the wires coming out the bottom.)
• (2) Route the two Black connectors for the lights to a convenient location
where they will not interfere with steering or any other moving parts.
• (3) Install the 3-way switch in a convenient location. A 7/32”hole will have to be
drilled in a panel to ush mount the switch.
• (5) Using Posi-tap, attach red (turn on wire) to a switched 12v wire. Be sure not
to use a Low beam headlight wire on H4 headlight bikes or else the lights will
shut o when the high beam is activated.
• (6) Install connectors as shown in the wiring diagram on page 6.
• (7) Run the Red and Black power wires directly to the battery. The fuse
will protect the system in the event of a short.
High Beam Feature:
Locate your bike’s High Beam headlight hot (+) lead. This will
make your lights go to full power when you turn on your high beam. Use
a Posi-tap to connect one of the white wires from the relay box to this
wire. It does not matter which white wire you use; both trigger the same
way. If you do not want to use this feature, simply tuck the white wire
away in a neat fashion.
Horn Feature:
Locate the Horn’s hot (+) lead. This will make your lights ash
to full when you sound your horn. Use a Posi-tap to connect one of the
white wires from the relay box to this wire. It does not matter which white
wire you use; both trigger the same way. If you do not want to use this
feature, simply tuck the white wire away in a neat fashion.
Wire Routing: (Please consult owners manual for wiring diagram and color codes)
• Be sure to route wires so that they cannot become tangled or caught
in either a suspension part or steering part. Check movement of both
steering and suspension before riding the bike.
• It is sometimes helpful to follow existing wire routing.
Page 5
Page 7
Step 4: Wiring
Page 6
Page 8
Step 5: Alignment / Helpful Tips
Aligning The Lights:
As Erica, Krista, and Sevina are designed as auxiliary lights,
adjustment is up to the user depending on his or her needs. Ask an
assistant to help you with this procedure. Make sure the bike is on level
ground and have an assistant sit on the bike. Using a level, alight the
lights to be perpendicular to the ground. Another method would be to
position a large square on the oor and slide it up to the light. The goal is
to adjust the lights so that the light is level with the ground.
Passengers and luggage may alter the alignment of the light, so
further adjustments may be needed. You may nd that a slight downward
angle (5 degrees at most) is helpful. Often times it is helpful to angle the
right side light toward the right side of the road. This helps with identifying
road terrain and potential critters.
