Please note that in cases where kits are packed with rubber washers holding the components onto the bolt –the
rubber washers should be thrown away!

Socket set to include 6mm, 8mm and 10mm sockets and wrench.
Set of metric allen keys to include 4mm and 6mm.
Phillips screwdriver.

Remove seat using key.
Remove four rubber grommets and undo four allen headed bolts to remove grad rails (arrowed
in picture C).
Remove push studs in position marked in picture M.
Remove rear seat cowl as shown in picture E (unsnap slide gently towards rear of bike).
Gently ease out both side panels, trace all wires from licence plate bracket and disconnect
(please note routing).
Unsnap and disconnect key mechanism cable as labelled A in picture C.
Undo and remove Phillips screw as shown in picture D.
Remove under-tray (marked in picture D) this is held by two snap hooks positioned at top side
edges and two push stakes facing into rear light cover (rear light cover and push stake holes
arrowed in picture G).
Remove original equipment manufacturers licence plate bracket (you will need to remove four
hex headed bolts from underneath which are visible now you have removed under-tray).
Remove indicators by removing nut and plastic insert shown in picture F.
Unsnap and remove rear light cover (you will need to undo two Phillips screws from rear of
licence plate bracket under number plate if fitted).
Remove key mechanism by removing cable as before, sliding out ‘L’ shaped locking clip,
remove cable clamp bracket as arrowed in picture I and removing lock barrel.
Fit new light assembly to part 1 (use length of heat shrink near light end of wires) as shown in
picture H.
If using fit original equipment manufacturers indicators to part 1 (if using after market
indicators (if fitting mini’s we suggest R&G product code RG370), do not use plastic spacer
from original mounting (as shown in picture H).
Fit key lock mechanism to part 2 and connect key cable as shown in picture I.

Fit part 2 to part 1 using four washers and four of the shortest button head bolts from kit as
shown in picture J.
Feed wires and cables through space between indicators arms and main body of part 1.
Place part 3 onto flat face of part 1 with bent lip facing upwards when fitting to bike.
Offer this assembly up to bike and align with mounting hole in rear sub-frame.
Secure to bike using four washers and four longer button head bolts from kit (use holes in part
2 to fit rearmost bolts.
Fit spacer using original screw as shown in picture K.
Connect key cable as original (after connection clip cable under cable clip as shown in picture
L), feed wires as original routing, to connect rear/brake and licence plate light we suggest
cutting and reusing original equipment manufacturers plug.
The original black with white stripe wire is connected to the new lights black wire. (This is
the earth wire).
The original white with black stripe wire is connected to the new lights red wire. (This is
the bake light wire).
The original grey wire is connected to the new lights yellow wire. (this is the rear and licence
plate light wire).
The original equipment manufacturers plug for the licence plate light is now redundant.
Connect indicator plugs.
Refit seat cowl.
Refit grab rails (including rubber grommets to bolt heads) ensuring no wires or cables are
trapped or pinched.
Now is a good time to check operation of all lights and seat lock mechanism.
Refit seat.
Refit licence plate.
IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT
FAR DOWN ON THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE
OF THE LICENCE PLATE HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD
AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO
CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO
CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
Depending on local laws, attach enclosed red reflective tape in an appropriate location.
Please test the indicators, rear/brake light and licence plate illuminator before riding.
CONSUMER NOTICE
The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G may make design
changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in such state shall conform to the order.
The Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to title) has been given or will apply to the Products other
than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality
and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable
skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products
R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they
were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be
in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the
gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No
returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not
refer to faulty goods.

Enlever la selle (utilise la clé de contact)
Enlever les 4 pièces en caoutchouc et enlever les 4 vis Allen pour enlever la barre de maintien
passager (photo C)
Enlever les 2 pièces “PUSH STUD” marquées sur la photo M.
Enlever les caches latéraux (Photo E)
Enlever le carénage de selle. Veiller noter le sens de passage des câbles reliant le support de
plaque au faisceau électrique.
Déconnecter les connecteurs reliant le support de plaque au faisceau électrique.
Enlever le mécanisme de blocage de selle (photo C repère A)
Enlever les vis (voir photo D)
Enlever le passage de roue (photo D- pièce tenue par 2 crochets et 2 boutons pression).
Enlever le support de plaque d’origine. (maintenu par 4 vis hexagonales visibles après avoir
enlever le passage de roue).
Enlever les clignotants en enlevant les écrous et l’insert en plastique (voir photo F)

Enlever le cache/couvercle de la lumière arrière. (Vous devrez desserrer les 2 vis situées sur le
support de plaque d’origine en dessous de la plaque d’immatriculation).
Enlever le mécanisme/serrure en enlevant le câble en premier lieu, glisser vers l’extérieur la
pièce en « L» qui maintient le câble, puis enlever la patte (photo I) et enlever la serrure.
Fixer la lumière arrière R&G sur la pièce N°1. Passer les câbles dans le trou de central et
glisser un morceau de tube comme indiqué sur la photo H.
Fixer les clignotants (de votre choix) sur le support R&G. Si vous utilisez les clignotants
d’origine, ne pas réutiliser les inserts en plastique d’origine.
Fixer et monter le système de mécanisme à clé sur la pièce N°2 (voir photo I)
Fixer la pièce N°2 à la pièce N°1 à l’aide des 4 rondelles et des 4 vis les plus petites (photo J)
Passer les faisceaux et câbles à travers l’espace entre les pattes de maintien des clignotants et
la pièce N°1
Placer la pièce N°3 sur la partie plate de la pièce N°1 (avec la partie coudée dirigée vers le
haut de la moto).
Placer le tout sur la moto et aligner les trous de fixation sur la partie de cadre arrière.
Fixer le tout sur la moto en utilisant les 4 rondelles et les 4 vis les plus longues (utiliser les
trous sur la pièce N°2 pour fixer les vis les plus en arrière)
Fixer les entretoises en utilisant les vis d’origine (voir photo K)
Connecter le câble de clé comme à l’origine (voir photo L).
Replacer les câbles et faisceau électrique comme à l’origine dans le chemin de câble et nous
vous conseillons de réutiliser les connecteurs d’origine pour rebrancher les câbles du feu
arrière.
Reconnecter le câble OEM- NOIR avec les bandes BLANCHES -----au câble NOIR de
l’éclairage R&G
Reconnecter le câble OEM- BLANC avec les bandes NOIRES -----au câble ROUGE de
l’éclairage R&G
Le câble d’origine GRIS sera connecté au câble JAUNE de l’’éclairage R&G
Connecter les clignotants au faisceau
Vérifier le bon fonctionnement de l’éclairage et des clignotants.
Remonter les carénages de selle.
Remonter les poignées de passagers (remonter les pièces en caoutchouc-Photo C)
Remonter les selles.
Remonter la plaque d’immatriculation.
IMPORTANT: Veiller à toujours placer la plaque d’immatriculation le plus haut possible sur le support,
ceci pour éviter tout contact entre la plaque et le pneu.

Entfernen Sie den Sitz.
Entfernen Sie vier Gummitüllen und lösen Sie vier Inbusschrauben, um die Haltegriffe zu
entfernen (mit Pfeilen markiert –siehe Abbildung C).
Entfernen Sie die Push-Studs (mit Pfeilen markiert –siehe Abbildung M).
Entfernen Sie die Rücksitzverkleidung wie in Abbildung E abgebildet (hinten vorsichtig
lösen).
Vorsichtig beide Seitenteile hinausziehen und alle Kabel für den Kennzeichenhalter trennen
(bitte die Verlegung der Kabel notieren).
Lösen und trennen Sie das Kabel für die Sitzverriegelung (mit „A“ beschriftet - Abbildung C).
Lösen und entfernen Sie die Kreuzschlitzschraube (Abbildung D).
Entfernen Sie die untere Abdeckung (Abbildung D). Die ist mit zwei Karabinerhaken an den
oberen Kanten und zwei Druckknöpfe, die zur hinteren Lichtabdeckung gerichtet sind,
befestigt (Rücklicht-Abdeckung und Öffnungen für die Druckköpfe sind in Abbildung G
abgebildet).
Entfernen Sie den Originalkennzeichenhalter (die vier Sechskantschrauben, die jetzt nach
Entfernung der unteren Abdeckung sichtbar sind, von unten entfernen).
Entfernen Sie die Blinker, indem Sie die Mutter und Plastikeinlage entfernen –siehe
Abbildung F.
Lösen und entfernen Sie die Abdeckung für die Rückbeleuchtung (lösen Sie die zwei
Kreuzschrauben vom Kennzeichenhalter hinten, unter dem Nummernschild, wenn montiert).
Entfernen Sie den Schlossmechanismus, indem Sie das Kabel entfernen, die “L” geformte
Verschlussklemme lösen, den Klammhalter entfernen (siehe Abbildung I) und das
Zylinderschloss entfernen.

Montieren Sie die neue Kennzeichenbeleuchtung auf dem Blinker- und Kennzeichenhalter
(Teil 1). Verwenden Sie den Schrumpfschlauch an den Kabelenden (am Licht) –siehe
Abbildung H.
Wenn Sie die Originalblinker am Teil 1 montieren, (wenn Sie Zubehörblinker oder Mini-
Blinker verwenden, empfehlen wir R&G Artikel-Nr. RG370), die Plastikdistanzbuchse vom
Originalhalter nicht montieren (siehe Abbildung H).
Montieren Sie den Schlossmechanismus auf Teil 2 und verbinden Sie das
Schlossverriegelungskabel wie in Abbildung I abgebildet.
Montieren Sie Teil 2 auf Teil 1. Verwenden Sie hierfür die vier Unterlegscheiben und vier der
kürzen Inbusschrauben vom Kit (siehe Abbildung J).
Führen Sie die Kabel durch das Loch zwischen den Blinkerhaltern und dem Hauptteil vom
Teil 1.
Legen Sie Teil 3 auf die flache Fläche von Teil 1 –bei der Montage ist die angewinkelte
Kante nach oben gerichtet.
Den Kennzeichenhalter am Motorrad ansetzen und mit den Befestigungspunkten im
Heckrahmen ausrichten.
Mit den vier Unterlegscheiben und vier längeren Inbusschrauben vom Kit befestigen
(verwenden Sie die Löcher in Teil 2, um die hintersten Schrauben zu montieren.
Montieren Sie die Distanzbuchse mit der Originalschraube, wie in Abbildung K abgebildet.
Verbinden Sie das Kabel für die Sitzverriegelung wie ursprünglich (siehe Abbildung L). Die
Kabel wie ursprünglich verlegt anbringe. Um die Rückbeleuchtung, das Bremslicht und die
Kennzeichenbeleuchtung zu verbinden, empfehlen wir, den Originalsteckverbinder
abzutrennen und wieder zu verwenden.
Das original schwarze Kabel mit weißer Streife ist verbunden mit dem neuen schwarzen
Kabel. (Massekabel).
Das original weiße Kabel mit schwarzer Streife ist verbunden mit dem neuen roten Kabel
(Bremslichtkabel).
Das original graue Kabel ist verbunden mit dem neuen gelben Kabel (Rück- und
Kennzeichenbeleuchtungskabel).
Der Originalstecker für die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung wird jetzt nicht mehr benötigt.
Verbinden Sie die Blinker-Steckverbinder.
Montieren Sie die Sitzverkleidung.
Montieren Sie die Haltegriffe (inkl. Gummitüllen). Überprüfen Sie, dass keine Kabel
eingeklemmt oder geknickt sind.
Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der Beleuchtung und Sitzverriegelung.
Montieren Sie den Sitz.
Montieren Sie den Kennzeichenhalter.
WICHTIG: WENN EIN GROSSES KENNZEICHEN ZU WEIT NACH UNTEN
MONTIERT WIRD, BESTEHT BEI SCHWERER LAST ODER DURCH GROSSE
BODENWELLEN EIN GERINGES RISIKO, DASS DAS KENNZEICHEN AN DAS
HINTERRAD STOSSEN KANN. ES LIEGT IN IHRER VERANTWORTUNG DIES
ZU ÜBERPRÜFEN UND, WENN NOTWENDIG, VORBEUGENDE MASSNAHMEN
ZU ERGREIFEN. DIE NICHTBEACHTUNG DIESES SICHERHEITSHINWEISES
KANN ZU SCHWEREN VERLETZUNGEN FÜHREN.
Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, das mitgelieferte Reflektierband an die dafür
vorgesehene Stelle anbringen.
Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der Beleuchtung (Blinker, Brems-/Rücklicht und
Kennzeichenhalterbeleuchtung) vor Gebrauch des Fahrzeuges:
