Das Luftkühlgerät muss mit vorher über einen Atemluftfilter (z.B. CPF-Luftfilter) von Staub, Schmutz
und Öl gereinigter Atemluft betrieben werden.
The Clem Cool Air Conditioner must always be used with preliminarily cleaned breath air by a
breathing air filter, (example CPF Air filter) for removal of moisture, oil and particulate matter from
breathing air supply.
Le climatiseur doit fonctionner avec de l'air respirable qui a été épuré des poussières, impuretés et
huile avec un filtre (par ex. filtre à air CPF).

Das Luftkühlgerät wird zwischen dem Atemluftfilter und dem Strahlhelm installiert und versorgt den Strahler
mit gekühlter Atemluft. Im Inneren des Luftkühlgerätes befindet sich ein Vortex-Rohr, welches die
ankommende Druckluft in warme und kalte Luft trennt. Die warme Luft wird abgeblasen, während die kalte
Luft zum Strahlhelm weitergeleitet wird. Mit dem Temperatureinstellknopf kann die Lufttemperatur reguliert
werden.
The Clem-Cool Air Conditioner is an approved air control device, which provides the user with a source of
cool air when used in conjunction with a Clemco supplied air respirator. The device must be installed

between a breathing air filter and the air respirator. A Vortex is arranged inside the Clem Cool Air
Conditioner, which separates the incoming pressurized air into warm and could air. The warm air will be
discharged to atmosphere while the cold air will be transmitted to the blaster. To adjust air temperature rotate
the temperature control valve located on the lower part of the air conditioner.
Le climatiseur est installé entre le filtre respiratoire et le casque de sablage et alimente le sableur en air
respirable frais. Le climatiseur est équipé d'un tube Vortex qui sépare l'air comprimé d'entrée en air chaud et
air froid. L'air chaud est soufflé alors que l'air froid est acheminé vers le casque de sablage. La température
de l'air peut être réglée avec le bouton de réglage de température.
5 Installation / Set-up and installation / Installation
(1) Atemluftschlauch. Atemluftschlauch des Strahlhelms an den Ausgang des Kühlgerätes
schrauben (siehe Bild 1).

Der vom Luftfilter (z.B. CPF-20 oder 80) kommende Luftversorgungs-
schlauch mit Schnelltrennkupplung an den Eingang des Luftkühlgerätes
kuppeln.
(3) Gurt.
Den Gurt auf Körperumfang des Strahlers einstellen.
(1) Breathing hose. Screw the breathing hose of the air respirator to the outlet of the Clem-Cool
air conditioner (see fig.1)
(2) Air supply hose. Couple the air supply hose with quick coupling coming from the breathing
air filter (ex. CPF-20 or 80) to the input of the Clem-Cool air conditioner.
(3) Belt.
Position the belt to the girt of the blaster.

Régler la longueur de la ceinture selon le tour du corps du sableur.
6 Betrieb / Operation / Fonctionnement
(1)Sicherheitsausrüstun

−Gehörschutz
−Gurt mit installiertem Luftkühlgerät (Anschluss an Atemluftfilter und
Helm) anlegen.
(2) Atemluftversorgung.
Druck am CPF- Atemluftfilter einstellen.
(3) Atemlufttemperatur
einstellen. Mit dem Temperatureinstellknopf an der Unterseite des Luftkühlgerätes.
⇒Nach rechts drehen = kältere Atemluft.
⇒Etwa 1 Minute warten, bis die Temperaturänderung eintritt.
⇒Ggf. nachstellen, bis gewünschte Temperatur erreicht ist.

−Leather gloves and safety shoes.
−Ear protection.
−Put on the belt with installed Clem Cool Air Conditioner (connected on
breathing air filter and air respirator).
(2) Air supply
Adjust pressure on CPF-breathing air respirator.

(3) Adjust breathing air
temperature Using the temperature control valve located on the lower part of the air
conditioner.
Turn to the right = cooler breathing air.
⇒Wait for ca. 1 min, till the change in temperature appears.
⇒Adjust again if necessary, till the desired temperature has been
achieved.

Avec le bouton de réglage de la température en dessous du climatiseur.
⇒Tourner vers la droite = air respirable plus froid.
⇒Attendre environ 1 minute que la modification de la température
ait lieu.
⇒Modifier éventuellement le réglage jusqu'à ce que la
température désirée soit atteinte.
7 Wartung / Maintenance / Maintenance
Überprüfen und reinigen Sie wöchentlich das Sieb im Lufteingang des Kühlgerätes. Stecknippel 1/4“
demontieren, Sieb herausnehmen, reinigen und wieder montieren. Die restlichen Teile sind wartungsfrei.
Inspect and clean the air filter screen placed on the air input of the Clem Cool Air Conditioner weekly.
Disassembly the 1/4“ plug nipple, take out and clean the screen, and reassembly. There are no other
serviceable parts within the conditioner.
Contrôler et nettoyer une fois par semaine le crible du filtre à l'entrée de l'air du climatiseur. Enlever le
nipple 1/4“, retirer le crible du filtre, le nettoyer et le remonter. Les autres éléments ne nécessitent aucun
entretien.
