[1] Slide the battery cover in the direction indicated
by the arrow.

[2] Swing the retainer downwards. Install the
lithium battery (use a small screwdriver if
necessary) with the "+" pole face down. Swing the
retainer upwards again.
[3] Install the alkaline battery with the "+" pole to
the left.
To replace the lithium battery, the alkaline
battery must first be removed!

[4] Set the selector to the desired letter code.
The letter code (A through P) is the “house
code”. All the devices can be set to the same letter
code!
Some receivers automatically program
themselves with the transmitter code. The product
code of these receivers always begins with an “A”!
[5] Close the battery cover.

SETTING THE CLOCK
[6] Press the CLOCK button for 3 seconds. The
hour indicator with begin to flash.

[7] (1) Press the tu buttons to select the correct
hour. (2) Press ENTER.

[9] Press ENTER to confirm the clock setting.
[8] Press the tu buttons to select the correct
minute.

OPERATION OF RECEIVERS
[11] Press ON or OFF to switch the receiver on or
off. The indicator on the remote control lights up.
If multiple receivers have the same numeric
code, they will be operated simultaneously!
[10] Press the tu buttons to select the receiver
that is set to the corresponding code (1 through
16).

PROGRAMMING THE TIMER FUNCTION
[12] Press TIMER for 3 seconds. The program
screen appears.

The program mode is automatically cancelled
after 10 seconds!
[13] (1) Press the tu buttons to select the
desired memory location (1 through 12). (2) Press
ENTER.
A maximum of 12 on/off times can be
programmed per day!

[14] The UNIT value flashes. (1) Press the tu
buttons until the desired receiver is selected. (2)
Press ENTER.
[15] The hour of the ON time flashes. (1) Press the
tu buttons to select the hour of the ON time.
Press ENTER. (2) Press the tu buttons to select
the minute. Press ENTER.

[16] The hour of the OFF time flashes. (1) Press
the tu buttons to select the hour of the OFF
time. Press ENTER. (2) Press the tu buttons to
select the minute. Press ENTER.
[17] (1) Press tu to select the type of switching:
Switching is repeated daily; Switching occurs
one time only; During the set time, the device
is switched on/off at random times.
(2) Press ENTER and wait approx. 10 seconds (or
press TIMER) to exit programming mode.

PAUSING A PROGRAM
[18] (1)Press TIMER for 3 seconds. (2) Press the
tu buttons to select the program (1 through 12)
that should be paused.
[19] (1) Press /DEL. A box appears around the
selection. (2) Press ENTER. Wait approx. 10
seconds (or press TIMER) to exit the programming
mode.
Memory locations that do not contain a
program cannot be selected!
Repeat [18 – 19] to reactivate the program!

Remarks
Reminders
• This product must be used in combination with at least one COCO receiver. The wireless system can
be expanded indefinitely with other COCO remote controls and/or receivers.
• This product is a combination of a remote control and a timer. Remote control: Control one (or more)
COCO receiver(s). Timer: Switch a COCO receiver on and off at the desired time.
• If the product does not work or does not work properly:
- Check the correct placement and/or function of the batteries (replace if necessary).
- Check step for step whether everything is programmed correctly.
- Make sure the set "house code" (see [4]) of this product is the same as on the COCO receiver(s) that
are to be controlled. The numeric code of the receiver(s) must match the channel (“Unit”) on this
product (see [9]).
- Perhaps someone nearby is using the same house code. Set the wireless COCO system to another
letter code combination.
Dimming function
• The dimming function only works if the concerned receiver is suitable for this function. For more details
concerning the dimming function, see the manual for the dimmer receiver.
• The dimming function cannot be pre-programmed with the timer.
• Do not program dimmer receivers and on/off receivers for operation with the same button on the remote
control.
• Do not program multiple dimmer receivers for operation with the same button on the remote control;
use separate buttons.
Safety instructions
• This product is equipped with child protection with which the programming buttons can be locked: Press
the “/DEL” and “ENTER” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. “C.P.” (Child Protection) appears on
the screen. Do the same to deactivate the child protection.
• Do not expose this product to excessive heat, direct sunlight or moisture.

• Remove the battery from this product if it will not be used for an extended period.
• Do not attempt to repair this product. If the product is damaged or if you are in doubt about the proper
operation, take the product back to the place of purchase.
• Never use COCO products for life support systems or other applications in which equipment
malfunctions can have life-threatening consequences.
• Do not use the product in damp areas. Clean the device with a clean cloth.
Power
• Replace the 12 V alkaline battery if the transmit indicator no longer lights when the ON or OFF button is
pressed.
• Replace the flat 3 Volt battery when the low-battery indicator appears on the screen. This will erase the
timer memory. After you do this, program the remote control and the timer again.
• Only use a 3 Volt CR2032 lithium battery and a 12 Volt A23 alkaline battery.
• Do not throw the batteries into an open fire.
• Respect the local regulations when disposing of batteries.
Wireless
• This product works using a radio signal that passes through walls, windows and doors. The range is
maximum 75 metres in the open air. The range indoors is strongly influenced by local conditions such
as concrete, glass and metals. On average, the indoor range is approximately 30 metres.
• New double glass often includes a thin metallic layer. This type of glazing (“HR glass”) allows most
visible light to pass through but has a negative impact on radio signals. If there is HR glass between the
transmitter and receiver, you should expect a significant reduction of the range of the wireless signal.
• This product operates at a frequency of 433.92 MHz. It complies with the essential requirements and
other conditions of R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC and can be used in all EU countries.
• There may be restrictions on the use of this device outside the EU. If this device is used outside the EU,
check whether the device complies with the local directives.
