1. Introduction
C1000LPisalowpowerkeypadthatworksonelectroninclockswithopencollector
and/or H-Bridge mode.
InstandbymodeistheyellowLEDislit(● ○ ○)

By incorrect code lights the red LED (○ ○ ●)
C1000LPhasabuzzerforindicatingwhilekeying,correctcode,incorrectetc.and2
transistoroutputs,independantfromeachother,sotheC1000LPcangiveaccessby
code.
TheC1000LPisastandaloneunit,thecanbeprogrammeddirectlybyMastercode
and Service code.
2. Installation
Mount the reader on a even surface.
Connectthewirestopowersupply,doorstrikeetc.(usesupplieddiode)
Wire colours
Note: Right after applying the voltage all LED’s lights and the buzzer sounds do not
touchthereaderuntilltheyellowLEDlightsandthebuzzerissilent.

3. Programming users
Programming the C1000LP is simple and easy to understand.
3.1 User positions
C1000LPhas200userpositions,whichcancontainacode.Thepositionsaredivided
asfollowing:
User position Function
1 - 100 Activates output 2 (The code is position 1 is 1234 - factory default)
101 - 150 Activates output 1
151 - 190 Activates output 1 and 2
191 - 200 Reserved for special functions
3.2 Programming user codes
The Master code is used to program/change/delete the users. By default the Master
code is 4711.

3.3 Programmming codes for special functions
Programming the codes is described in 3.2 and 3.3. This entry activates the output(s)
for 5 seconds (factory setting). Only 1 user can enter at the time.
Programming the same user twice
Byprogrammingthesamecodeonthesamepositiontwicetogglestheoutput.
(Ie. the code is entered to unlock the door and entered to lock it again).
Programming the same user 3 times
Byprogrammingthesamecodeonthesameposition3times,theoutputisdesignat-
edasswitchononly.
(Ie. the door is permanently unlocked when the code is entered).
Programming the same user 4 times
Byprogrammingthesamecodeonthesameposition4times,theoutputisdesignat-
edasswitchoonly.
(Ie. the door is only locked when the code is entered).

3.4 Smart enrolling
Thispositionmakesitpossibletoprogramcodesquickerwithoutenteringnewposi-
tions. Key in a position and it counts automatically to the next position. Codes can be
programmedalternativelyasyouseet.

4. Battery management
Givesawarningbeforeopeningthedoor,whenthebatteryisatapprox10%charge.

5.CongurationofC1000LP
5.1 The Service code
The Service code is used for C1000LP’s advanced settings such as changing the Master
codeandServicecode,LEDindicationsandmuchmore.Theoverviewofthesettings
and the factory settings can be seen in 4.2 Conguration overview.
The Service code is 12347890 (factory setting).
Note: Before the Service code can be used must the voltage be turned OFF and
ON (the Service code can now be entered within 10 seconds).
After entering the Service code the reader is in programming mode (the green LED
lights). Each time a setting is made the C1000LP goes back to the previous point and
the next setting can be made.

5.3 Changing the Master code
By default the Master code is 4711 and can onlybeusedtoprogram,changeordelete

5.4 Changing the Service code
TheServicecodeisusedtoconguretheC1000LP’ssettings.
TochangetheServicecode,enterthefollowingwithin10secondsafterpoweron:

5.5 LED indications
TheC1000LP’s3LED’scanbeadjustedatwill.
ToadjusttheLEDindicationsenterthefollowing:
adjust the LED’s for standby indication (normal).
adjust the LED’s for correct code indication (active).
adjustthekeyingindication(howtheLEDwillreactwhilekeying).
ToadjusttheLED’spressonthefollowing:
=yellowLED(togglebypress)
= green LED (toggle by press)
= red LED (toggle by press)
=buzzer(worksonlyonactiveandkeyingindication(togglebypress))
= save and go one step back

5.6 Outputs
The C1000LP has 2 outputs that can be set to H-Bridge output or open collector out-
put.BydefaultistheC1000LPsettoH-BridgeoutputwithLockdelayin5seconds.
Toconguretheoutputsettingsusethefollowingsteps:

sets the output 1 time in Pulse mode or Lock delay
sets the output 2 time in Pulse mode or H-Bridge time
sets the output 1 active position
sets the output 2 active position
sets the outputs functions
select the outputs for Daycode/onetime code

Note: In time setting for Pulse mode it is in Milisec x 10 instead of hours.

5.7 Special settings
These settings is used to change the C1000LP’s special functions such as turning the
buzzeron/oetc.
Tochangethesesettings,keyin:

= Master code be changed by Master code (●= inactive / ●= active)
= Mute reader (●=O/●= On)
= Bell on OC1 (●=O/●= On)
= Onetime code (●=O/●= On)
= Day code (●=O/●= On)
= Locker mode (●=O/●= On)
=Lockerreleaseonrenewtime(●=O/●= On)
Special positions
Userposition191to197canactivatespecialsetting3to6withacode.Theprogram-
ming is the same procedure as programming a user code just use the positions men-
tionedbelow:
191 = Toggle buzzer
194=Togglingthestarkeytoactivateoutput1(whitewire)
195 = Toggle onetime code mode
196 = Toggle Daycode mode
197 = Deactivate the user codes
198 = Seed code
199 = Digit count for one/day code

6. Blocking
The C1000LP is blocked for 1 minute after 4 incorrect codes.

7. Manual reset
The C1000LP can be reset to factoty default manually.
•Turnthevoltageo.
•Connecttheyellowandbrownwire.
•Turnthevoltageon(2-16VDC)thereadersLED’slightsandthebuzzersounds.
•Turnthevoltageoanddisconnecttheyellowandbrownwire.
TheC1000LPisnowresettofactorydefaultandtheusercodesaredeleted.

9. One-time-/day code
TheC1000LPoers2advancedfunctionsofcodesthatcanbeusedonceonlyanda
code that is valid for a single day.
FirstthecodeshavetobegeneratedusingtheConlanCodeGenerator(download
availablefromwww.conlan.euoronitunesandGooglePlay).
Enteraseednumberintotherstbox.Thiscanbeanynumberfrom1to9999999.
Then enter the numbers of digits you require the code to have (best to avoid 4 or 8
digitscodessothereisnochanceofconictwithServicecodeorMastercode.The
system defaults to a 6 digit code.
Onceyoupresstheenterkey,thedaycodewillbeshownontheleftandaseriesof
one-timecodesshowninthetablebelow.Boththesecanbeexportedtoaleifre-
quired.
