TCT Cutters Heavyduty,longlifecuttersforallconcrete
texturing, scabbling, planing andgrooving
applications. Alsousedforremovalofroad
markings, roofchippingsandbrittlecoatings
Milling cutters Primarilyfortheremovalofthermoplastic
road/runwaymarkings. Tippedwithtungsten
carbidetheyarecosteffectiveandhighly
efficient. Arangeofcutterdimensionsare
available.
Beamflails Heattreatedcuttersfortheremovalofpaint
coatingsandlaitance fromnewconcrete.Also
forremovinggrease, dirtandice deposits.
4.Safetyrules
Attention! TheHUBBEL floorplanersareconstructedaccordingtoexistingsafetyrules
andregulations. Thesetechnicalprecautionsshouldnotberemovedorchanged
underanycircumstances.Whileoperatingthemachinesthefollowingpoints
shouldalsobekeptinmind:
1.Theplanersshouldalwaysbeoperatedwithallsafetycoversandtechnicalprecautions.
2.Theoperatorshouldneverleavethemachineduring operation.
3.Beforeleaving themachineallrotarypartsshouldbebroughttoastandstill.Theelectric
modelsmustbedisconnectedfromthemains.Makesurethatthemachinecannotroll or
movebyitself.
4.Aftermaintenanceandadjustmentallsafetycoversmustbereattached.
5.Ifthenoiselevelexceeds90 dB(A)earprotectors mustbeworn.
6.Intheeventofalargeamountofdustduringoperationconnectadustcollectortothe
planer.

5.Operating
a.Aftermountingtheappropriatetoolstheoperationoftheplanercanbegin.
b.Tilttheplanerbackwardsuntilthetoolsareclearoftheground.Switchtheplaner
on.
Attention: Neverswitchthemotoroftheplaneronwhilethetoolsstilltouchthefloor.
Alwaysliftthemachineandthetoolsclearfromthefloorandthenswitchthemotoron.
Attention: Loweringthetoolstoomuchbyloosening thescrewsoftherearwheelswing
decreasestheperformance ofthemachine.Youwillalsodestroytheshaftsinthedrum
andthebearingsofthemachine.
c.Heavydustcanbeavoidedbyconnectingadustcollectortothedustport.

cuttersbetweentheshaftandthe
surface (A). Thiswillcausecutters,
shafts, andcagetobreak.Thecutters
shouldbeabletomovefreelyaround
theshaftsatall times(B).

6.Changingthe drum
Attention: Beforeanymaintenance,themachinemustbebroughttoacompletestandstill.
Alwaysdisconnectthemachineifitisanelectricmodel.
-Unscrewthescrewsontherightsideplate(M10,Keywidth17 mm)
-Carefullyremovethesideplate.
-Tiltthemachinebackwardsuntil thehandlebarrestsonthefloorsothatthetoolsare
visible.
-Takeoutthedrum.Removewornouttools.Checkshaftsanddrumsforwearandtear.If
necessaryreplace newtoolsonthedrum.
-Pushdrumonfreshlygreasedshaft.
- Reconnectsideplate.
7.Maintenance andcleaning
7.1Bearings
Allbearingsaregreasedfortheirlifetime.
7.2Belt drive
Checkthebeltsafterapproximatelyevery30 hoursofoperation.Totensionthebelt
youneedtoraisethemotorbracket.Disconnectthebeltdrivecover.Loosenthe4
M10 screwsofthemotorflange.Raisethemotoruntilthebeltsaretensioned.Tighten
thescrewsagain.
7.4Cleaning
Regularcleaning ofthemachineincreasesthelifeofall componentsandtoolsofthe
planer.
