Dear owner,
Congratulations on the purchase of this premium electric heater. CONVECTAIR
develops and produces the highest quality heating product in the electrical
industry.
To obtain the best results and the ultimate in performance and comfort, please
take a moment to read the installation, operation and maintenance instructions
detailed in this manual.

Your heater is already equiped with a precise electronic thermostat. It must not be
connected to a wall thermostat

To start or shut off heater operation:
Press the ON/OFF key (F).
To set the desired temperature :
With the temperature knob (A), lower or raise the temperature to the desired
comfort (see page 8).
Fast heat :
Turn the heater on.
Press the Timer knob (D) to activate the Turbo mode.The heater will run full
power (1750 W) for the duration set on the Timer knob (D).

1 specifications
Your new DIVA is a room heater and a towel dryer.
- It has two heat stages: one 750 W thermostatically controlled and one 1750 W for fast
heat, timed from 15 to 120 minutes and unregulated.
- Your DIVA can be used with the optional CONVECTAIR Programmer Module
(pilot wire) allowing scheduled temperature set-backs in periods of prolonged absence
providing the same comfort and more savings.

Your heater must be installed in accor-
dance with national and local codes and
CONVECTAIR recommends an installation
by a qualied electrician.
- Your heater must be installed so that the
control panel is out of reach from anyone in
the bath-tub or in the shower. Do not install
over a bath-tub or spa.
- Do not install the heater behind a door,
furniture or others obstacles, or in front
of an air exhaust vent. Keep combustible
materials such as curtains, away from the
heater.
- Your heater is equipped with a heating
element that may reach high temperatures.
Do not install or operate in the presence of
gasoline, paint solvents or other ammable-
products.

- CONVECTAIR recommends that your heater be installed by a qualied
electrician and in accordance with national and local codes.
- This heater must be connected to a 240 Volt (60 cycles) circuit.
Disconnect the power supply before making wiring connections
to prevent electrical shock and equipement damage. If you are using
a programmer system, make sur to cut the power off ALL electrical
heating circuits in the home
- To prevent short circuits and electrical shocks turn the power off
at the main panel before attempting the installation or making
any repairs.
- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
an approved service depot or a technician with similar qualications to
avoid any danger.
3 electrical connection
RESPECT WIRE COLOR WIRING
- Turn off the power of this unit and all the devices connected to the pilot wire before
opening.
- The grounding of the pilot wire (purple wire) can cause serious damage to
- internal circuits.
- Never connect the pilot wire (purple wire) to power cord.
- Always connect the ground wire (green wire) with copper wire.
- The purple wire of which the end is sealed, is not to be used for electrical connection.
- This wire will be used if the device is connected to the CONVECTAIR central
programming system.
- Fix the unit on the wall bracket before turning the power back on.

4 installation and Mounting
Wall bracket installation:
- Remove the wall bracket from the
heater by pushing ithe 2 clipping tabs
(Rep. A).
- Place the wall bracket on the wall
and mark the 4 mounting holes in
accordance with the dimensions
shown in gure 2.
- Fix the wall bracket with at least 4
screws (Ø 5.5 max) ensuring the
bracket is in the right orientation and at
the correct installation height.
NOTA 1 : Be sure to respect the distances
reported in Figure 2.
NOTA 2 : The device must be xed to
its support, the use of adhesif to x the
support or the device is forbidden.
Heater installation:
- TO MOUNT THE UNIT ON THE WALL
BRACKET, ENGAGE THE LOWER LEGS
INTO THE SLOTS AT THE BOTTOM AND
BACK OF THE HEATER. THIS OPERATION
IS FACILITATED BY PRESENTING THE
UNIT SLIGHTLY TILTED FORWARD.
- CLIP THE TOP OF THE WALL BRACKET.

5 operating instructions
-TURNING THE HEATER ON - SETTING UP THE COMFORT TEMPERATURE
Setting up the Comfort temperature:
-Turn the thermostat knob (A) to the Comfort Zone position (Rep. ZC).
Press the On / OFF key (F) to turn the heater on, the power light
(E) and the heat indicator (C) lights (unless the room temperature is
above the selected set point temperature).
- Close the doors and windows of the room, wait a few hours to verify
the temperature has stabilized at the desired value.
- If the temperature obtained is not appropriate, increase or decrease the value of the
Comfort Zone with the temperature knob (A).
- Wait again a few hours to verify the temperature of the Comfort Zone.

NOTE 1: To turn off the heater, press the ON / OFF key (F). The power indicator Rep.
E is off.
NOTE 2: Once the Comfort temperature has been set, DO NOT TOUCH the thermostat
temperature knob (A), act only on the On / OFF (F). When you need more heat (at the
time of the shower, bath, ...) do not change your Comfort temperature setting, use the
"TURBO" mode.
NOTE 3: When the unit is heating, the heating indicator (C) is on.
TIMER - «TURBO» MODE
- For immediate supply of heat or a quicker drying, it is possible to use
- the timer function.
- Put the unit on (see above) before performing this operation.
- The timer function makes the heater operate at full power on «Turbo» mode for an
adjustable duration (from 15 to 120 minutes).
- To do this, select the desired operating time by turning the Timer knob (D), then press
the same button to start the "Turbo" mode,
- indicator "B" and "C" are on.
- To stop the timer function press again the "OK" button.
- To reduce your consumption, the device regulates the "Turbo" mode following the
room conditions and the use of the heater (less or more towels). In this case, the heat
indicator (C) ashes.
- At the end of the timer duration, the device will return to its original operation (controlled
heating by the thermostat).

Recommendations and advices
CAUTION:
This device is intended for drying towels. Do not introduce anything in the unit.
The rst time your CONVECTAIR heater is used, a light smoke could be re leased.
This is normal and should disappear after about a few minutes.
CAUTION: DO NOT COVER
If the heater is covered, there is a risk of overheating. It is forbidden to cover or
obstruct the air inlet or air outlet at the risk of incidents or damage to the unit.
In order to not interfere with the proper operation of the heater, use the included
bars to dry your towels.

6 overheat control
This heater is equipped with separete overheat controls for the radiant panel and for
the fan-forced heat.In case of a malfunction of the unit ( blocked air output or intake, for
example ) the heater will stop heating automatically. After correcting the malfunction the
heater can be reset. To restart the heater:
For the radiant heater, check that the top outletgrill ( top back of the heater) is free of
obstruction, then push the reset button on the upper back panel of the heater.
For the fan-forced heat : turn the heater off. Check that the lower back inlet and the
lowerfront outlet are free of obstruction. Wait 5 minutes and turn the heater back on.
7 Maintenance
To keep your CONVECTAIR unit clean, regular maintenance is suggested. To remove
dust, use a soft cloth. To remove a stain, use a damp cloth.
For a better performance and maximum efciency, it is suggested that dust and lint be
regularly removed from the protective grill situated at the back of your DIVA.
NEVER USE ABRASIVE OR ACETONE-BASED PRODUCTS TO CLEAN YOUR
HEATER AS THIS MAY DETERIORATE THE EPOXY FINISH.
ANY REPAIR ON YOUR CONVECTAIR HEATER SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY A
QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN, AND ONLY AFTER HEATER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED.
Recommendations and advice
Your CONVECTAIR heater will become hot when in use. Caution is advised when young children are
present.
Do not insert small objects in the heater : this could cause an electrical short circuit, re or damage to the
inner components.
Any use or modications not approved by CONVECTAIR may cause electrical short circuits, re or injuries
to the users.
In certain cases, it is possible for yellowing of the surface to occur over time.
This is not due to a manufacturing defect.This is caused by surrounding air, which may contain smoke or
dust, being heated and circulated through the heater.
Prevention : it is suggested that surfaces be frequently cleaned especially with units installed
in locations where cigarette smoke is present or in the kitchen. Never use this heater during
construction work or other activities that generate a lot of dust.
The rst time your CONVECTAIR heats, a light smoke could be released. This is normal and should
disappear after about 2 to 3 minutes.

8 troubleshooting
Before calling your electrician, please go through these simple checks :
1- Make sure the breaker in the distribution panel is in the «ON» position.
2- Check that the ON / OFF key is green.
3- Activate the timer function.
4- If no heat is emitted, check the overheat protection (see section 6).
5- If the light is still off, and no heat is generated, call CONVECTAIR or the nearest
CONVECTAIR service center.

IMPORTANT : PRODUCT INFORMATION APPEARS ON THE HEATER’S IDENTIFICATION
LABEL.
The identication label is located on the inside of the heater
It includes :
- The complete model number and its
production reference number (A) that
must be included in any warranty claim.
- Capacity (B).
- Standard certication (C).
10 warranty inforMation
2 years against all defects / 5 years on heating element.
All CONVECTAIR heaters are subjects to a double warranty : 2 years on all parts and
manufacturing defects and 5 years on the heating element itself.
Warranty is applicable from date of purchase by the customer and under certain specic
conditions. All details furnished with each heater. Please keep your invoices (purchase
and / or installation).
