Operation Manual
Introduction
The HDMI™ Transmitter and Receiver over One CAT6 is an intelligent
device for extending your HDMI signal over long distances to a
com atible dis lay. Instead of buying ex ensive, long distance HDMI
cables, your existing CAT6 cables can be utilized to erform advanced
functions, like transferring Dee Color (12 bits/color) video and high
Definition (Dolby TrueHD, Dobly Digital Plus and DTS HD Master Audio)
dgital audio, with a bandwidth u to 2.25Gb s er channel. Powered by
its USB connection which also makes it easier to install, this device is a
fine addition to existing media setu s.

Features

• Uses one CAT6 cable for data/DDC transmission
• Equalizes and recovers incoming TMDS data before re-transmitting it in
o timal quality
• HDMI Cable testing showed that with WUXGA/1080 8bit resolution, in ut/
out ut device can run to 12 meters away and with WUXGA/1080 12bit
resolution it can run u to 10 meters away
• When transmitting a signal in 1080 8bit resolution the CAT6 o erating
distance is 40 meters, and when the signal is in 12bit resolution the CAT6
o erating distance is 15 meters
• Using only transmitter side’s ower in 1080 8bit resolution the CAT6
o erating distance is 20 meters de ends on source and dis lay used
• The transmitter is owered by its USB connection while the receiver obtains its
ower through the CAT6 cable. But when o erating over long distances the
receiver can be connected with a USB ower su ly for im roved
erformance
System Requirements
In ut HDMI signal source and out ut HDMI in ut dis lay with HDMI
connection cables and CAT6 cable in between the transmitter and receiver .
Operation Controls

Front Panel
1. HDMI IN: This slot is to connect with source equi ment such as DVD or Blue-
Ray layer for in ut signal sending.
2. HDMI OUT: This slot is to connect with dis lay monitor or TV for image
dis lay.
Rear Panel
1. USB 5V: This slot is to connect with USB 5V power adaptor included in
the device’s package.
2. CAT6 IN: This slot is to connect with CAT6 cable to the receiver side.
3. CAT6 OUT: This slot is to connect with CAT6 cable rom the transmitter
side.
Top Panel
1. Power LED: The blue LED will illuminate when the device is connected with
power and detected the signal.
