Holter ECG with
custo flash 500/501/510
5 Error message:
multiday card not detected
Error description
After setting the recording parameters and selecting a
patient for the recording, data cannot be saved on the
custo multiday card because the device does not detect
the card.
Solution
The custo multiday card must be configured in the custo
flash 5xx recorder, so that it can be recognised by the
device. To do so, insert the custo multiday card into the
flash 5xx recorder. Ensure that the direction of insertion
corresponds to the label in the recorder. Then insert the
rechargeable battery.
The configuration starts. The process is completed when
the LED flashes green slowly. Remove the custo multiday
card from the recorder (gently press the edge of the card),
and reinsert the card into the card reader.
The above error message also appears if the card reader
is faulty. Check whether the card reader is functioning
properly.
6 Setting the recorder time
Start custo diagnostic and open the page Examination,
Holter, Settings, Connection, multiday card. In the multi-
day card area click on the set recorder time button (right
side of the display). The time is set in four steps. The pro-
gram provides you with specific instructions.
7 Note on the custo multiday card
Ensure that the custo multiday card is recordable. If the
write protection is active, it is not possible to record an
ECG on the SD card.
To ensure that data can be saved
on the SD card, the write
protection lock must be
in the upper position
as shown.
8 Attaching the electrodes
Adjust the neck strap so that the recorder is placed cen-
trally on the patient’s chest. Shave, clean and dry the
electrode application points.
Apply the two top electrodes under the collarbone, if pos-
sible not on a muscle. Apply the bottom electrode below
the heart or on the breastbone. The electrodes can be
applied at a slightly different positions within the blue
frames.
