Common Tools Needed:
● Impact Wrench or Socket Wrench set - 1/2" drive minimum w/bit adapter
Step 1: Carefully place the Top Panel (10301) on its upper surface so the under side is facing up.
Attach the Top Rail (17455) to the under side of the Top Panel (10301)
with the 5/16-18NC X 1-1/2 X 3" SHMS (17456). Do not tighten until after Step 2.

Step 2: Using the 5/16-18NC X 1-1/4" SHMS (10222) attach the Side Leg Weldments (17451) to the
Top Panel (10301).
DO NOT overtighten the fasteners to the SMC plastic
Side Leg Weldment (17451) parts. They should only be wrench snug!

Common Tools Needed:
● Hammer drill motor and 1/2" diameter concrete drill bit
● Impact Wrench or Socket Wrench set - 1/2" drive minimum w/bit adapter
● Hammer
● T-45 Torx bit (provided)
● 3/8th Set Tool (provided)
● Pencil for marking installation surface
● 25-foot tape measurer
● Blue Chalk Line or Laser
● Construction Adhesive suitable for use with concrete
Step 1: Determine desired placement of rack and shelter before drilling any holes;
avoiding concrete expansion joints. Check overall placement of shelter for user accessibiblity.

Step 2: Using predetermined center lines from step 1, mark 8-hole locations for drilling using
the shelter leg weldments as a template.
Step 3: Drill 4-hole locations for each leg weldment (8 holes per shelter) with 1/2" diameter Concrete drill
bit - 2" deep. (Do not damage shelter leg weldment surfaces with hammer drill motor chuck).
Step 4: Wipe away concrete dust avoiding holes. Apply construction adhesive inside each hole and
press anchor into hole. Allow adhesive to set per munufacturers instructions before
tightening bolts.
Step 5: Place shelter over anchors and bolt down using button head bolts (provided).
Step 6: Tighten all screws with torx bit (provided) and wrench until flush with leg weldment plate.
