The D-Link DMP-100 is a state of the art MP3 player with an
integrated voice recorder. You can listen to your favorite tunes
while on the go. And with no moving parts, your music will never
skip. It comes with a full 32MB of memory built in.You can even
add an optional 32MB memory card and double that time!
The DMP-100provides the highest fidelity sound, it evens features
a tunable equalizer. The integrated voice recorder will let you
record ideas, memos, or even full lectures - it can literally store
hours! With download and upload capabilities, not only will it
store your favorite MP3s, but it's a great way to store any Windows
files and transfer them between two computers. It will even save
your recordings to your PC as a wave file.
With 32Mb of on-board memory, the DMP-100 can deliver over
an hour’s worth of digital-quality music and other recordings
utilizingthe popular MP3 standard. It’s voice recorderrecordsover
2 hours of digital-quality audio through a built-in microphone. It
can also double as portable storage forany type of file. Removable
SmartMediamemory cards can be used to double the fixed storage
capacity of the DMP-100 to 64MB, or act as more flexible
removable storage.
Large buttons on the front of the DMP-100 control all major
functions. The buttons can be deactivated with a hold switch to
ensure that music is not interrupted accidentally. A 5-band
equalizer allows a user to customize the sound to their choice in
music, or choose from one of many presets. The DMP-100’s
scrolling LCD display provides track information including song
title and artist.Additional menu commands allow the user to delete
tracks or change player settings without being attached to a PC.
Available memory and other information can also be displayed.
D-link’s intuitive MP3 and file management software writes and
reads data from the DMP-100’s internal memory or SmartMedia
expansion memory cards via a parallel port interface.
