Section I – Camera Setup
How do I install/use the Setup Wizard software with my DCS-920
IP camera?
For Software Installation:
Step 1 Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. The setup menu will
show on the screen.
Step 2 Click Setup Wizard.

Step 3 Please wait while the InstallShield Wizard prepares to install, after that
please click Next.
Step 4 The InstallShield will install the software in the following folder. To install
the software into a different folder, click Browse and select another folder. Click
Next after you have confirmed on the folder selection.

Step 5 Please wait while the Setup Wizard SE is installed.
Step 6 Installation is now complete. Click Finish to close the windows.
What should I do after I installed the Setup Wizard software of
my DCS-920 IP camera?
For Camera Configuration:
Step 1 To access the Setup Wizard screen, click on the All Program > D-Link >
Setup Wizard SE.

Step 2 First of all highlight on the camera you want to setup and click Wizard.
Step 3 On the initial Setup Screen you can configure Administrator password
and create users. By default, the administrator username is “admin” and there is
no password.

Step 4 Users can configure the Network Settings for the camera by entering the
IP address, Subnet mask, Default router IP, Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS.
Click on Next after this.
Step 5 Users can configure the Wireless Network Settings for the camera, by
entering the SSID and selecting the Wireless Mode. Click Next after this.

Please note that if there is security on the wireless router, you have to select the
appropriate Security Mode.
Step 6 Click Apply to save the configured settings. Users can click Back to
modify changes. Setup has been completed.

Step 8 To view your DCS-920 Internet Camera in an Internet browser, start up a
web browser and key in the camera IP in the address column. That’s all.
Step 9 Congratulation! Now you can start viewing your camera.
