CHAPTER 1 PREFACE
1-1 INTRODUCTION
This indicator has been designed with top reliability under rigid quality control and
outstanding performance. Thank you very much for your purchasing of our digital
weighting indicator.
This maintenance manual will help you to achieve the proper & satisfactory operation and
to avoid mishandling & abusing indicator.
Please keep it handy for future reference.
1-2 PRECAUTION
• Check the voltage of electricity at the outlet.
• Avoid subjection the indicator to sudden extreme temperature changes.
• Keep away from high-voltage cables or other applications that produce
electrical shock or noise.
• Keep the indicator in a dry place.
• Do not clean with volatile substance or inflammables.
1-3 FEATURES
•. Watch dog timer guards for self-diagnostic.
• Photo-Coupler used for the protecting against certain external-noise.
• The external field switch can be directly connected to 5pins terminal located at the
rear panel for the remote control of some keyboard function

CHAPTER 3. DISPLAY AND KEY BOARD PART
3-1. 상태표시(▼)
• STEADY : This lamp will turn on at the stable weight.
• ZERO : This lamp will turn on at the zero weight .
• TARE : This lamp will appear when a tare weight has been entered and stored .
• GROSS : Weighing display is off when the display show the net weight except .
• SP1 : This lamp will appear when the weight is same as SP1 setting value.
• SP2 : This lamp will appear when the weight is same as SP2 setting value.
• RUN : This lamp will appear when the weight is start
3-2. KEY USED
▶To make the weight of center “ 0 ”
User Selected within ±2%,±5%,±10% or ±20% of the Maxinum Capacity.
▶ To input each kind of setting value as aumbering key “ 1 ” key
You can check and change the part number if you push the “clear”and “1” key
▶ To be used for start and stop key when you operarte the weight and out-put.
▶ To input each kind of setting value as a numbering key “2”
You can see the serial number,if you push the “CLEAR” and “2” key.
▶To be used for the removing of tare weight.
To be used for “ TARE ” key, push the “ 3 ” key and input the
TARE Weight and push the “ENTER” key

CHAPTER 5. CALIBRATION
What is calibration?
The meaning of calibration is to adjust for the real weight value and display weight value.
5-1. ZERO ADJUSTMENT
The meaning of “ZERO” is the fiducial point of weighing operation . If this zero value is over
or less than normal operating zero range, the indicator will display to “unpass” Message at
weight column.
The indicator can be operated normally when the zero point range becomes around number
5000
(Between 2000 and 9000 Range).
If zero point range is out of above range, indicator doesn’t operate normally.
At this time, please adjust zero point range to be around 5000 by dip. Switch No. 1-6 at rear
panel in order to make a more accurate operation.
(DIP. Switch No. 7-8 is for the adjusting of load cell gain value
※ How to adjust zero range
1) Push key “1” first and power on.
Indicator will display at weight column as following:
Push key “1” again.
Indicator will display zero value after displaying “test” at weight column.
If indicator doesn’t display any umber at weight column except “test” please try to adjust
again the zero range after being turn on of dip switch no. 1-6 at rear panel.

Q) If indicator display “29,800” of zero value and all of dip switch No. 1-6 turn on.
Answer) If the width of variation value is – 800 when you turn off dip switch No1
The width of varues of each number of DIP switch are as follows

Therefore, if No. 1.2.3.4.5 of dip switch are off, the variation width will be to
− (800 + 1,600 + 32,000 + 6,400 + 12,800) = − 24,800
So, the zero value of indicator will be adjusted to 29,800 – 24,800 = 5,000
This number is around 5,000

5-3. SPAN CALIBRATION
5-3. SPAN CALIBRATION
You can enter into the setup and calibration mode(S & C Mode) by below two methods.
1) At that time “test” depress key “SET” first and power on at the same time, word will
be displayed at weight column.
Depress key “SET” again, and indicator will display as following.
“SET CAL”
After finishing above, press “CAL” key indicator will display to “dxx”
( “XX” is one of the scale division 01-02-05-10-20-50 )
2) If you depress key “CLEAR” for 5seconds at the normal weighing mode, indicator will
also display above. (St. CAL)
Next procedure is same as above.
At this time,
If you press key “CLEAR”, indicator will enter into “SET-up” mode.
If you press key “ENTER”, indicator will enter into “[AL” mode.
If you press key “0”, indicator will enter into normal weighing mode.
▶How to calibrate for span
There are 6 steps for span calibration as follows:
When you enter to next step, please press “ENTER” at any step.
When you return to before step, please press “CLEAR” at any step.

Ⅰ.1STEP
Please press key “0” circularly(01-02-05-10-20-50)
In order to select the value of one division.
And then press “ENTER” key for the setting of your desirable division.
Ⅱ. 2 STEP
Indicator will display ny number after being displayed “CAPR”
Please input by pressing numeric key in order to set full capacity.
And then press “ENTER” key for the setting of your desitable capacity.
(NOTICE)
Please don’t set over 1/10,000 resolution (over division/max. Capacity)
If indicator is set over 1/10,000 resolution, indicator will display
error message (Err 0)
Ⅲ. 3 STEP
Please confirm again about zero value after being displayed “DEAD”
And then press “ENTER” key for next procedure.
(NOTICE) If zero value is over 9,000, please adjust again this value.
Ⅳ. 4 STEP
Indicator will display the capacity at weight column which was set at 2
Step after being displayed “SPAN”
Please input the value of standard weight for span adjustment by
numeric key.
This value of span standard weight must be equal to full capacity or over
10% of full capacity.
(In case of less 1/5,000 resolution, the value of standard weight must be
over 10% of full capacity at least)
(In case of less 1/5,000 resolution, the value of standard weight must be
over 20% of full capacity at least)
(Notice)If span capacity is set less 10%, indicator will display error
message. (Err 04 or 05)

Ⅴ. 5STEP
Please put span standard weight on the platform.(The weight is
1000kg at here)
Press “ENTER” key after stable of platform.
(NOTICE)If indicator is unmatched with load cell capacity or span standard
weight, indicator will display error message(Err A)
Ⅵ.6STEP
Indicator will display any constant value of span adjustment.
If the range of this constant value is between 0.5000∼1.50000,
All procedure of span adjustment is normal.
And then, press “ENTER” key for next procedure.
If you remember this constant value, you can adjust the span without
Standard weight by “F89”(Function number “F89”)at set-up mode.
(Please remember this constant value, full capacity and one digit for your
further calibration & reference)
Ⅶ.7STEP
The “END” message is display in 6 step, all span adjustment is end.
Press “ENTER” key after put down of span standard weight the platform.
The indicator will enter user’s weighing mode.

5-5. ERROR MESSAGES
TEST or DNI3500 : If indicator displays only “test” or DN3500”(Model Number)
Without any operation, first of all you must adjust “Dip Switch” of back side panel for
span and zero value
Err 01 : Set over 1/10,000 resolution.
Err 02 : The value of maximum load count is higher than 10,000 count
Err 03 : The value of maximum load count is less than 10,000 count
Err 04 : The value of span standard weight is higher than full capacity of scale.
Err 05 : The value of standard weight is less than 10% of full capacity.
Err 06 : The span standard weight is higher than set-up weight of it.
Please confirm whether span standard weight is same as set-up weight of it.
If indicator displays error message continuously, please adjust dip. Switch No. 7 or 8 in
rear panel.
(NOTICE : After adjusting of dip switch, please confirm again abort zero value.)
※ DIP, S/W ARRANGEMENT FOR THE ADJUSTING OF SPAN VALUE

If indicator display error message continuously after adjusting of dip. Switch,
please confirm about the connection status of “EXC+ and EXC-” in load cell cable.
Err 07 : The span standard weight is lower than set-up weight of it.
Please confirm whether span standard weight is same as set-up weigh of it.
If indicator displays error message continuously, please adjust dip. Switch NO.7 or 8 in rear
panel.
(NOTICE : After adjusting of dip. Switch, please confirm again abort zero value.)
Err A : Unstably Calibrated span in the above 5 step.
Err_2 : Miss input the f-function Check and Reset the f-fumction

●PREFACE
The meaning of “SET-UP” :
Is to choose each proper functions for matching of the indicator with the appliances of field.
▶How to enter into set-up mode
This set-up mode is required for proper weighing operation when indicator connect with other
appliance.
※if you press key “CREAR”at S&C mode, indicator will displays as following
▶Setting Method:
1) If you proceed to next function, press “CLEAR” key or if you want to see your desirous
any function number, press “CLEAR” key after input and function number by numeric key.
Indicator will displays function number directly from present function number.
※ Present display : “F01-01”
If you want to see function number12
Press numeric key “1 “and “2 “ → Press “CLEAR “KEY ” →”F12-XX” display
▶If you want to change each functional setting number newly, press “CAL” key after input
the functional setting number by numeric key.
① ▶ Depress key “3 KEY” first and power on at the same time.
② At that time “TEST ” word will be displayed.
③ Depress key “3 KEY” again, and indicator will display as following:
“SET CAL” S & C mode
At this time, press “CLEAR” key.
Indicator will display to “F01-xx” from above “test ” message.
