Description
This USB 2.0 to serial adapter enables you to connect different serial devices like
mice, modems, etc. to a USB port.

Driver Installation
Windows XP/XP-64/Server 2003
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Connect the adapter to an available USB port of your computer.
3. Afterwards, Windows displays the Hardware wizard.
4. Choose the option "No, not this time" and click "Next".
5. Put the driver CD in the CD-ROM drive, choose "Install software
automatically" and click "Next".
6. After the driver is located, click on "Next". Click on "Finish".
7. The USB Port is installed, choose the option "No, not this time" and click

"Next" to install the COM-Port.
8. Choose "Install software automatically" and click "Next".
9. After the driver is located, click on "Next". Click on "Finish".
10. You can now start to use the device.
Windows 2000
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Connect the adapter to an available USB port of your computer.
3. Afterwards, Windows displays the Hardware wizard.
4. Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive.
5. Please choose "Search for a suitable device driver" and click on "Next".
6. Select the "CD drive" option and click on "Next".
7. After the driver is located, click on "Next". Click on "Finish".
8. The USB Port is installed, click "Next" to install the COM-Port.
9. Please choose "Search for a suitable device driver" and click on "Next".
10. Select the "CD drive" option and click on "Next".
11. After the driver is located, click on "Next". Click on "Finish".
12. You can now start to use the device.
Windows 98SE
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Connect the adapter to an available USB port of your computer.
3. Afterwards, Windows displays the Hardware wizard.
4. Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive and click on "Next".
5. Choose "Select the best driver" and click on "Next".
6. Choose the option “Specify a location”, click on "Browse" and choose the
path: "CDROM\USB 2.0 to RS232 Converter\PC" and click "OK".
7. Click on "Next". Click on "Finish".
8. You can now start to use the device.
