Delta Heat Exchanger (HEX) is designed for direct air to air
heat exchange to remove heat from the cabinet.
The internal and the external air circulation loops of the HEX
are separated to prevent the introduction of dust, humidity and dirt.
The fan on the external air loop conforms to IP55 protection rating.

．Configuration
The HEX is composed of the key components as the following :
Chassis , Heat exchange Core , Controller Internal/External fan tray &
dust filter .

．Thermal path and airflow baffle
With forced convection using the axial fan , warmer return air will be
blowing into the HEX ,the cooler supply air will be used to cool down the
system ; On the opposite side , cooler air will be drawn into the lower inlet
and push the heat out from the upper outlet .
The thermal exchange path is shown in the figure below.

．Dust filter maintenance
Criterion: Monthly
1.Please kindly slide dust filter out upward from trail on external side
2.Use brush and low pressure air to blow out the dust or use water for
cleaning
3.Slide dust filter into the rail back

．Heat exchanger maintenance
Criterion: Quarterly
1.Please kindly slide out the dust filter first
2.Use screw driver to remove screw of both external / internal
fan tray , be sure to disconnect the fan first , then take out the
fan tray
3.Use brush and low pressure air to remove dust on both
internal/external fan tray
4.Use brush and low pressure air to remove dust on HEX case and
heat exchange CORE
5.Assembly both internal/external fan tray back and slide dust filter into
the rai l
