Adjust the EQ settings for improved audio
Your MIR-260 comes with pre-set equalizer settings. Denver have set the default as FLAT, but we
think if you change this setting immediately you will see improved audio. Our favourite is ROCK
whether we are listening to classical, pop or rock. We feel ROCK setting gives the stereos audio
greater richness & depth. Go to:
MENU > CONFIGURATION > EQ
In here you can now choose the EQ / equaliser setting that best suits your music.
DAB Radio
When using the DAB radio for the first time the stereo will request to carry out a full tune. We
recommend saying yes (make sure your aerial is extended and is fully upright for best reception).
If you didn’t carry out a full scan then you can go back and carry out a full scan later (or rescan if you
have moved the stereo to another location for better reception) by going to:
MENU > CONFIGURATION > DAB SETUP > DAB FULL SCAN
RE-ORDER YOUR DAB STATION LIST: Once you have tuned in all available DAB radio stations when
you go to MENU > DAB RADIO all channels that have been found will be listed. You can highlight any
radio station and press the RIGHT button (on the top of the stereo) to access the options of moving
this station up or down the listed channels … or simply deleting it from the listed channels, if it isn’t a
channel you ever want to use.
You can also carry out re-organising your DAB channel list in MENU > CONFIGURATION > DAB SETUP
> DAB STATION LIST
CHANGING DAB CHANNEL: To change from the current DAB channel you are listening to, press the
LEFT button on the top of the stereo to go back to the DAB channel list. Now scroll up and down the
channel list by turning the -SCROLL+ wheel control on the top of the stereo. Once the channel you
want to listen to is highlighted click / press the -SCROLL+ wheel down.
