SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. READ INSTRUCTIONS - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.
2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - he safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference.

4. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS - All operating instructions should be followed.

kitchen sink, laundrytub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.
6. VENTILATION - he appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper

11. OBJECT and LIQUID ENTRY - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into
the enclosure through openings.
12. ESD WARNING - he display does not function properly or no reaction to operation of any the control may due
to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and unplug the set. Reconnect after a few seconds.
13. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE - he appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a. he power-supply cord or plug has been damaged.
b. Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance enclosure.
c. he appliance has been exposed to rain.
d. he appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
e. he appliance does not appear to operate normally.
14. SERVICING - he user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the user operating
instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
Notes:
a. Dirty or scratched CD may cause a skipping problem. Clean or replace the CD.
b. If an error display or malfunction occurs, disconncet the AC cord and remove all the batteries. hen turn the power
back on.

POWER SOURCE
You can power your appliance by plugging the AC power cord at the back of the appliance into a wall
AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Insert 2 x “AAA” size batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are insert
ed correctly to avoid damage to the remote control. Always remove the batteries when the
remo te control will not be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the
batteries a nd subsequently damage to your set.
Notes:
- Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
- If the distance required between the remote control and the appliance decreases, the batteri es
are exhausted. In this case replace the batteries with new one.
SENSOR WINDOW OF THE RECEIVER
- Even if the remote control is operated within the effective range, its operation may be impossible if
there are any obstacies between the appliance and the remote control.
- If the remote control is operated near other appliances which generate infrared rays, or if oth er
remote control devices using infrared rays are used near the appliance, it may operate incorrectl y.

RADIO OPERATION
GENERAL OPERATION
1. Press the “FUNC ION” button to select “ UNER” mode.
2. Press the “S OP / BAND” button to select AM or FM.
3. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by using the “ UNING” control.
4. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.
MONO / STEREO
Press the “MONO / S EREO” button to achieve the best frequency.
FOR BETTER RECEPTION
FM - his appliance has a FM antenna located at the rear cabinet. his wire is completely unraveled
and extended for better reception.
AM - his appliance is equipped with a built - in directional ferrite AM antenna. Rotate the appliance
to get better reception.

CD / MP3 OPERATION
GENERAL OPERATION
PLAY / PAUSE Press to start playing CD / MP3 disc.
Press again to stop playing CD / MP3 operation temporarily.
Press again to resume playback.
SKIP + & Press to go to the next track or back to the previous track.
SKIP - Press and hold while playing until you find the point of the sound.
S OP Press to stop all CD / MP3 operation.
PLAYBACK
1. Open the CD door and place a CD / MP3 disc with the label up in the CD compartment.
2. Close the CD door.
3. Press the “FUNC ION” button to select “CD / MP3” mode.
4. Focus search is performed if disc is inside.
Playback will start automatically from the first track.
5. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.
6. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button when you want to stop playback temporarily.
7. Press the “S OP” button when finished.

CD / MP3 OPERATION
PROGRAM
Be sure to press the “S OP” button before use.
1. Press the “MEMORY / MODE” button, the display will show “P01” and flash.
2. Select desired track by using the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button. ( You may select a desired album by
pressing “FOLDER +” or “FOLDER -” button.)
3. Press the “MEMORY / MODE” button again to confirm desired track into the program memory.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to enter additional tracks into the program memory.
5. When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button to play the
disc in the order you have programmed.
6. Press the “S OP” button twice to terminate programmed playback.
MODE
Press the “MEMORY / MODE” button during playing CD / MP3 disc,
each press switches the mode function as follows:
1 - REPEA 1
2 - REPEA ALBUM ( *MP3 ONLY )

iPOD DOCK
GENERAL OPERATION
PLAY / PAUSE Press to start playing tracks from the iPod.
Press again to stop playing iPod operation temporarily.
Press again to resume playback.
SKIP + & Press to go to the next track or back to the previous track.
SKIP - Press and hold while playing until you find the point of the sound.
S OP Press to stop all iPod operation.
PLAYBACK
1. Press the “FUNC ION” button to select “IPOD” mode.
2. When iPod is docked, the system will initialize the communication with iPod.
3. Power On command is sent to the iPod to wake up it.
4. Play command is sent afterward to auto play the iPod.
5. Corresponding command is sent to iPod when key is pressed.
6. Playback starts automatically. You can select available features (such as paly/pause, skip track,
fast forward/backward, menu selection) during playback.
CHARGING
Charging iPod battery using the dock.
- In DOCK mode, directly dock your iPod portable player on the cradle for charging.

OTHER FEATURES
EQ
Press the “EQ” button on remote control, each press switch the EQ function as follows:
1 - CLASSIC
2 - ROCK
3 - POP
4 - JAZZ
5 - FLA (NORMAL)
Notes:
- he player not responsible for playability of MP3 in any case. Due to recording condition such as PC
performance, writing software, media ability or etc.
- For CD-RW, CD-R, it may not be played according to the type of this disc.
EXTRA BASS
1. Press the “X-BASS” button on remote control to enjoy extra bass sound effect.
2. Display will show “BASS - ON”.
3. Press the “X-BASS” button again to switch off extra bass sound effect.
INTRO
1. Press the “IN RO” button during play disc to play each song for 10 seconds.
2. Press the “IN RO” button again to resume normal playback.
MUTE
1. Press the “MU E” button to remove the sound during playing disc.
2. Press the “MU E” button again to resume the sound.

OTHER FEATURES
SLEEP
1. Press the “SLEEP” button on remote control, display will show “SLEEP 90”. hat means, after 90
minutes, appliance will automatically turn to standby mode.
2. Press the “SLEEP” button again to select the automatically turn off time, from 90, 80, 70, 60, 50,
40, 30, 20, 10 minutes.
3. Press the “SLEEP” button to “SLEEP 00” to canel sleep function.
CLOCK SETTING
1. Press the “S ANDBY” button to switch unit at standby mode.
2. Press the “CLOCK” button twice to entry clock set mode. he display will show “24H” and
flashing.
3. Adjust time format ( 12H / 24H ) by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button.
4. Press the “CLOCK” button to confirm time format, display will show “AM” or “PM” if 12 H
format is set.
5. Adjust hour by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “CLOCK” button to confirm.
6. Adjust minute by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “CLOCK” button to confirm.
Notes:
Because clock setting is at standby mode, the display is dim.
TIMER SETTING
imer setting must be after completed clock setting.
1. Press the “S ANDBY” button to switch unit at standby mode.
2. Press the “ IMER” button on remote control to entry timer set mode.
3. he display will show “ IMER ON”, press the “ IMER” button to entry “ IMER ON” setting.
4. Adjust hour by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “ IMER” button to confirm.
5. Adjust minute by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “ IMER” button to confirm.
6. he display will show “ IMER OFF”, press the “ IMER” button to entry “ IMER OFF” setting.
7. Adjust hour by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “ IMER” button to confirm.
8. Adjust minute by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button, press the “ IMER” button to confirm.
9. Press the “ IMER” button on remote control to activate timer on / off function.
10.Press the “ IMER” button again on remote control to terminate timer setting.
