INSTALLATION
LOCATEthe receiverinthe roomwheredirectlightdoesnotstrikethe screen.Totaldarkness
orareflection on the picturescreen can causeeyestrain.Soft and indirectlighting isrecom-
mended forcomfortableviewing.
ALLOWenough spacebetween the receiverand the wall topermitproperventilation.
AVOIDexcessivewarm locationstopreventpossibledamage tothe cabinetorcomponent
failure.
CONNECTION
ThisTVreceivercan be connected toAC:230V~50HzorDC +12V.Automotivecigarettelighter
socket.
CAUTION
Topreventthe carbatterymaybe exhausted on consumption the powerwiththisTV/DVDunit
anytime,the carengine mustbe kepton operating.
CAUTION
Topreventthe overinputvoltage,connectthisunittocarcigarettesocket. Besurethe input
voltage isDC 12V.NeverconnectthisunittoDC 24Voranyotherpowersource.
AUTOMATICDEGAUSSING(FORAC INPUT)
All colortelevision receiversaresensitivetomagneticinfluences,usuallycaused byeither
moving the receiverfromone placetoanotherorusing certainelectricalappliancesnearthe
receiver.Thisresidualmagnetismasitiscalled,sometimescausesdistortion whichgivesrise
to"blotchy"areasofcolorinthe picture.Toavoidtheseeffectsthe receiverincorporatesan
automaticdegaussing circuitwhichoperatesforashortwhileimmediatelyeachtimethe re-
ceiverisswitched on using the mainsswitch.Thiscircuitremovesanyresidualmagnetismin
the metalpartsofthe picturetube and thereforeensuresthateachtimethe receiverisswitched
lifelike.If the setismoved orfaced inadifferentdirection,the mainsswitchmustbe switched
off atleast10 minutesinorderthatthe automaticdegaussing circuitoperatesproperly.

Pushthe MainPowerSwitch,PowerIndicatorwill be illuminated,Afterfewsecond laterthe TV
screen will lightup and will shownoiseon the screen.The TVwill requiretuning intothe
availableTVstationsinyourarea.
Pre-setting theTVstationsintotheMemory

1.Press the CH button Toselectthe AUTOSEARCH (auto

DVDPLAYEROPERATION
BasicOperation
1.Press “TV/AV/DVD”button on the unitorpress the DVDMODEdirectkeyon the remote
handsettoturnDVDon.
2.Press “OPEN/CLOSE (EJECT)”button toload disc indisc tray.
3.Press “OPEN/CLOSE”button toclosethe tray.
•Holdthe disc withouttouching eitherofitssurfaces,position itwiththe printed titleside
facing up.
Play Discs
1.Press the OPEN/CLOSE Button on the frontpaneland load the Disc on the tray.
The labelside shouldbe facing upwards.ForaDouble-sided DVDDisc,putthe disc withlabel
A/1up.
2.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button againtoclosethe trayand the disc will be loaded.
3.The Disc will be played automatically.
•If itisaDVDdisc,itwill showthe Menu/TitlePage on the screen.
•If itisaCD,itwill playthe firsttrack directly.
4.Press the STOPButton ifyou wanttostop the Disc playback You can resumeplayback by
pressing the PLAY button and itwill startatthe location whereyou havepressed stopped
(ResumePlay).
5.Press the STOPButton twicetohavethe Disc reallystopped.

Thisfunction isapplicableforDVDand CD audio.
•ForDVD,the picturewill freeze.
•ForCD audio,itwill becomemuted.

The DVDMenu Playfunction isonlyapplicableforDVDmovie.Usercan access the Casting
information,Production History,MovieIntroduction etc.directlythrough thisfunction.
1.Press the DVDMENU Button on the remotecontrollertoenterthe RootMenu.
2.Usethe direction button (/,/)orinputthe itemindexthrough the Numberkeys (0-9)
todo the selection.
3.Press ENTERtoconfirm the selection.
Audio
Thisfunction isapplicableforDVDand CD audiobutwithdifferenteffects.
•Pressing the AUDIO Button will change the Audiochannel.
SCAN
Thisfunction isapplicableforDVDand CD audiobutwithdifferenteffects.The FASTFORWARD
keyand FASTBACKWARD keyareused toachievefastplayfunction.
•ForDVD,thereare5differentlevelsofspeed (x2,x4,x8,x16,x32)available.Press the FAST
keytocyclespeed.
•ForCD audio,the FORWARD/BACKWARD will playathigh speed.
Note:Press PLAY Button atanystage will resumetonormalspeed.
PREV./NEXT
During playback,press one ofthe PREV./NEXTbuttons(PREVIOUSbutton and NEXTbutton)
•When the PREV.button ispressed once,playback returnstothe beginning ofthe PREVI-
OUSplaying chapterortrack.
•When the NEXTbutton ispressed once,playback startsatthe beginning ofnextchapteror
track.
Slow

•Load an MP3disc intothe tray.Navigation Menu will be displayed and will showthe filesin
the rootdirectory.MP3filesareplayed automatically.
•InMP3Menu showsaBlue and an orange cursor.The Blue cursorindicatesthe currently
playing MP3song,the orange cursorselectsthe nextdesired song.
•Whilethe currentMP3song isplaying ,you can selectthe othersong byusing the Navigation
arrowsbutton orbydirectlyentering the song numberwiththe numberkeybutton.When
