3GSOHObelongstoDigicom’sGatewaysnewgeneration,projectedand
carriedoutusingthelatestwirelesstechnologies.
INTERNET
3G SOHO is the ideal solution for High-speed Internet connectionsusing
HSDPA technology (1) at 7.2Mbps. Furthermore thanks to the HSUPA
standard support,thegatewaycantransferthee-mailattachedleswith
anuploadspeedupto2Mbps(1).
PHONE
Easy call with 3G SOHO: just connect a traditional phone to the TEL
connector to make a call via GSM,asitwereamobilephone.Thebilling
systemwillbethenGSMtoGSMwithconsiderablesavingsifcomparedto
thePSTN-mobilerates.

REMOTE ACTIVATION
Thisfunctionremote enables the connection. When a
specicSMSisreceivedoraphonenumberisdetected
(CLI),3GSOHOwillconnectforatimesetbytheuser.
Furthermore 3G SOHO can be set to intercept E-mails
receivedinLANenablingthe3Gconnectionanditcan
sendanSMS.
MANAGEMENT AND CONFIGURATION
Conguration and management of 3G SOHO are
carried out via WEB interface, independently by the
operatingsystem.
SMS
ThroughtheWEBinterfaceyoucansend and receive
SMS.TheinformationofSMSreceivedisdisplayed.
DISPLAY
All the main information about the gateway status are
supplied on a 65.000 colors display, for example
the coverage level, the caller ID connection, the SMS
received,thelostcalls,thedateandtimewillbeavailable
onthedisplaytoguaranteethemaximumefcency.
LAN and Wi-Fi
3G SOHO uses the 54M Wireless LAN technology for
the connection to your laptop. A LAN Ethernet port is
available for the wired connection.
MOBILE EXTENSION (Optional)
3G SOHO has a full series of options that add high
value functions like an FxO analog port or the built-in
ADSL Router.
The Mobile eXtension function, performed with the
FxOanalogport,canremotemanageallthecallsofyour
PSTNline(orPABXextension)onthemobilephone.
SoyouwillbeabletoansweracallcomingtothePSTN
line with your mobile phone. You will also call from your
mobilephoneusingthePSTNline.
This function is very useful in applications of mobile
companyLANwhereyoucanremotemanagethePABX
line on your mobile phone.
You will be able to operate and work as if you were in
ofceevenwhenyouareaway.

3G SOHO can be equipped with a built-in ADSL2/2+ Router.
Inthisway,incaseofBACKUP of the ADSL line orformobile-to-mobilecalls(inLeastCostRoutingapplication),
the UMTS module can be used.
BACKUP
Withthebuilt-inADSLrouteroptionandthepossibilitytousetheUMTSnetwork,youcanbealwaysonlineeven
whentheADSLlineisdown.Youre-mailwillbealwaysavailableandyoucanbereachedviaphonethroughthe
mobile network.
Youcanalsoaddabackuprechargeablebatteryinordertohaveyourgatewayalwaysoperativeevenwhenthe
electric power is down.
LEAST COST ROUTING
Thismodeallowsasaving on the telephone bill (2),usingthemobilenetwork,insteadofthePSTNone,forthe
mobile-to-mobile calls.
Dependingontheprexesinsertedduringtheconguration,3GSOHOwillcallusingthemobilenetworkinsteadof
thePSTNnetworkwithaconsiderablesavingonthetelephonebill.
InordertoperformthisapplicationitisneecessarytheFxOoptionontheproduct.
Note 2 : The telephone saving depends on the rates plan defined by your operator for the prefixes inserted
during the configuration.
