HOW TO CONFIGURE DG-BG4300NU/IS IN PPPoE(DSL) FOR INTERNET ACCESS
STEP 1: ACCESSING THE WEB CONFIGURATION PAGE INSIDE THE ROUTER
Open the configuration page of the router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in a web browser. We recommend this
one time configuration to be done using Internet Explorer.
Enter the username as admin and password as admin and click on Login

STEP 2: CONFIGURE THE ROUTER IN PPPOE MODE
Click on Setup > WAN
First delete the entry in WAN Interface Table which is at bottom of the page
WAN Physical Type > Select ADSL WAN
Enter VPI and VCI values as provided by the ISP ( For Ex : For BSNL, VPI –0 and VCI –35)
Set the Channel Mode to PPPoE
Enter Username and Password provided by the ISP
VPI, VCI depend s on ISP
Username / password as provided by ISP

Scroll to the end of the page, till you see the WAN Interfaces Table.
Click on ADD option found just above the WAN Interfaces table.
Reboot the router and wait till Internet LED turns Green.

STEP 3: CHECK THE DSL STATUS
Status >> Device Info >> ADSL WAN Interface Table.

Once the Internet LED turns Green, you wil be able to access internet through DG-BG4300NU router.
