Step #2: Install Scanner Drivers
Step #1: Check Scanner Components
SB Scanner scanner (either SB500, 600 or
1000).
USB 2.0 Cable.
Travel Pouch (SB500/SB600 only).
Scanner Stand (SB600 only).
Install the scanner drivers per your
application instructions or if directed to
do so, from the enclosed CD. Note: Do not
connect the scanner to the PC before
loading the drivers.
Once the drivers have been loaded onto
your laptop or PC, plug in the USB cable
to the scanner and to the PC and launch
your scanning application. Note: the USB
cable for the SB1000 is located in back of
the scanner.

Calibration Card.
Step #3: Calibrate the Scanner
SB scanners must be calibrated to each
laptop or PC on which it is operated at the
initial istallation of the device.Follow the
screen prompts after the application is
launched.To calibrate the scanner, place
the calibration card into the scanner with
the arrows on top and pointed in toward
the scanner as shown.
You are now ready to scan.Follow the
application instructions as to which
direction and orientation to feed the check
or document.
